Hey there..everybody.
I may seem a little silly for this..in fact I'm quite certain that I do..but I am requesting help for a mission in Kingdom Hearts II.
Now,the reason that I feel silly is that it is the Phil's Training mission in the Olympic Coliseum. I simply cannot conquer the feat I must perform in which I gain 1,000 points in Maniac Mode.
To add to how ridiculous I am..I was able to defeat Sephiroth, but not pass this mission..could somebody please tell me what they did to succeed in this mission?

a tip i found out from the help from the mission: if you hit the big huge pots into the smaller ones, it drops alot more orbs. another thing to do is equipt negative combo and the keyblade that increases the drop rate of orbs. I paseed it easily with like 1,300 something by doing these things.

Hmm... I think I did that one already. I just trained a bunch in the normal mode, then got bored and did maniac mode. It wasn't too difficult for me... I'll try it again later. Just have a bunch of combo stuff, like explosion. That really helped. Keep whacking away at large bunches of pots, and don't stop! wink

Negative Combo and Explosion. The pots break at the end of your combo, so the less swings you have, the better. That's my strat, though admittedly I haven't beaten it just yet..
I reccommend: -Unequpping all combo boosts -Equipping Negative Combo and Explosion -Possibly Slide Dash (?) so you go right to the next group of pots instead of having to run -Draw. lots of Draw.

Shadedsoul what exactly does negative combo do? It lessens the amount of swings you do in a combo string. The final hit of a combo string is the strongest and the one that breaks pots/boxes/whatever you're hitting, and also can knock stuff away from you. Normally, without any combo+, your normal attack string is 3 swings. Hit-Hit-Hit. With Negative Combo equipped, that's cut down to two Hits. This will make you hit your "final hit" sooner so you break s**t faster. 3nodding

It's not like I don't care We are not going anywhere
As Xykk said, unequip Combo Boosts. Equip Negative Combo and Explosion Use Fenrir as your Keyblade Equip Draw and use the accesory Draw Ring. Also, smash the bigger ones into the smaller ones, you break them all and receive a lot of orbs doing that.
Finally: Blackthornes, the Keyblade you should use is Fenrir, as it has Negative Combo. Using Keyblades that increase the drop of items don't affect the orb drop in this game. I used Fenrir and the things mentioned above and I got 1924 orbs. Thinking loud and clear Where will I be in a year?
