The golden cheetah was wandering, not far, just to some water. Her orange eyes keeping watch for lions, they were dangerous and she wasn't liking them, not at all.
She lowered her head into the water and lapped up the water wondering where Adem had got to, after all he couldn't have gone far could he? No, surely not. She shook her head and looked around, sighing a little.

Once the ebony cheetah knew the two green cubs were safe with their family, Yaten relished the wind against his mane. Running through the grasslands, brown eyes were alert to his surroundings in case anything should pop up. Feeling slightly thirsty and smelling water nearby, he slowed his pace to a mere lope. A few feet from the water was another cheetah. In a soft voice, he called out in the hopes of not scaring the other with his intrusion. "Hello."

The golden body moved quickly and smiled at the cheetah. He was black and didnt seem to have any spots which confused her to no end, though she said nothing about it. "Hello there. I am Thanda." She smiled continuing to look around wondering where Adem could have possibly gone.

Chocolate eyes took in the female's curious actions before Yaten gave a smile back, "I'm Yaten. It's nice to meet you, Thanda." He took a few cautious steps forward before dipping his head to the water, lapping some up. This was the first time he's been around another cheetah in a while and a bit unsure of himself on what he should do. His head raised and tilted slightly, "Are you looking for someone?"

She nodded, "yes I am and I have no idea where he went. I am guessing he will come back once he has seen his friends but well, I dont want to lose him thats all." She smiled and turned to the other.
"May I ask a question that seems a little rude? Just.. why do you have no spots?" She asked the question without waiting for a reply from the first. She was just too curious!

Her reply was sufficent enough for Yaten's curiousity as he wasn't one to intrude where he didn't need to. But, her second question caught her off-guard. No one's ever asked about him and why he's all one color. He smiled to Thanda, not at all offended before answering, "I think it's from my mom's side of my family but I'm not too terribly sure. I guess I'm just the odd-ball." Giving her a slightly goofy grin as he didn't know the answer anymore than she did.

"Its strange, to see a cheetah with no spots. I do hope you haven't been cursed or anything because that would be dreadful!" She tilted her head slightly and studied him, he was deinatly an interesting cheetah that was for sure, strange markings.

Cursed? Chocolate eyes looked at Thanda and studied her marking on her shoulder. It kind of reminded him of the two cubs he just brought back to their family. With a thoughtful expression, Yaten replied, "Cursed? I should hope not! I cannot remember making anyone mad." He paused before a playful joke made it's way through, "Though, it does help if I get hungry at night and want to go on a hunt!"

Thanda chuckled at his joke, "That is true. Night hunting I expect is easier, they can't see you and you can see them. I wish I could do that!" She smiled and relaxed a little. Adem would find her.
She walked back to the water and lapped up the cool liquid, yes it was better that way, most definatly.

A soft laugh came from Yaten before he shook his head slightly, "I don't mind not having spots like others, but I do mind of others thinking of me as a strange lion when I'm a cheetah!" Remembering back to the first time he passed by the two green cubs and they thought of him as a deformed lion. Chocolate eyes looked to Thanda, "I haven't really gotten to explore much of this area...are there many cheetahs around?"

She listened and smiled. "Other cheetahs, yes from what I heard there is a huge group of them, Adem, my travelling partner is part of them which is why we have came back. He has obviously gone off to find the cheetah he needed to see, I just want to find him..." She looked a little annoyed at being left, but he had made a promise, and was keping it.

Perking up slightly at the prospect of many other cheetahs around, Yaten felt more relaxed. It was good to know that he wasn't one of the only few cheetahs here. "That is good news to me! I hope to run into more cheetahs soon." Looking to Thanda with a smile, "I'm sure your friend will be back in no time."

She smiled and let out a soft chuckle. "Yes I also wish to meet some more of our own kind." She smiled and looked up to the sky, "Would you like to come hunting? I am rather hungry..."

His tail flicked as he stood there with a smile on his features. Yaten replied, "Hunting sounds wonderful to me." He took a few steps towards her before gazing out at the vast lands, "Lead the way."
