A stir inside her had told her it was time. She had tried not to panick, nudging the cheetahs nearest to her she smiled and told them where she would be. She wasn't entirely sure if she wished to be alone in this but certainly she had to go to the place she had picked out to give birth to her cubs. Others could follow if they wished. Standing she looked to her stomach a fleshy movement whisking through it. She gave a heavy breath and moved away upon light paws, she hoped that her news would spread to Raja and Adem. They had helped her so much recently she wanted them to be near when they were born.
She had plenty of time to gain her little den, she had chosen a place beneath trees where her coat was hidden, she crawled in to a slight alcove which held her whole form providing shelter from above and either side as well as hiding them from any immediately prying eyes. She rested quietly shiftting every so often as her stomach moved and spasmed. There was time yet she knew but at least she was in her safe place.((anyone whom is a cheetah / gentle soul / knows colche is welcome at this birthing feel free to post ^_^!))

With pure white feathered wings and a pale blue body, the God of the Sky was up to his favorite pastime. Flying. Kweupe preferred the never-ending heights of the skies, the cool feeling he got from flying through a cloud, the feeling of freedom. The skies were his domain and would forever remain so, never would they be taken from him, nor would he abandon them.
Flying low across the lands of Africa, the God heard faint stirrings in a group of trees nearby. Normally this would not faze him, and the winged lion would have kept on his feathered way, but something called for him to stay. As if something magical were about the happen.
Landing with a soft thud a few metres away from the trees, the blue and white god folded his wings upon his large shoulders and crept forward, lightly and silently on his white tipped paws. Kweupe pressed on through the trees, and came to the small alcove that hid what looked to be a first glance an overweight Cheetah. However, taking a closer look with his deep purple eyes, Kweupe noticed that her stomach was moving. He was going to witness one of the many miracles of Mother Nature. A birth of cubs.
"Hello my dear," he said softly, his voice deep yet soothing.

When the news got to Uri, the smokey pelted cheetah had to smile. As border patrol and a concerned sort-of-friend, he found a rock nearby where he could just about make out Colche's form in her shadowy den if he turned his head a little. He'd watch out for any creature that might try to harm the mother and her soon-to-be-born cubs.
He might not be the most social of cheetahs sometimes, but Uri wished her the best as he climed to a stoney seat. Besides he doubted he'd be alone in keeping guard...the father'd be along, right? No, wait, Colche had never mentioned to him who...
"I won't stare, just making sure you're safe. Good luck Colche!"
At the arrival of the lion-god, he stood again and bowed before sitting again and taking up his vigil. Oh she'd be safe now, it was a good god, he thought. Surely. Still, here he'd stay unless she told him to go.

Colche shifted a little in her comfortable little den her blue eyes a little glazed in her disscomfort. She startled a bit upon the arrival of the god though she quickly calmed "you honour us lord" she whispered her claws digging deeply in to the soil at her claws. The pains had started now they were few and far between though each one was certainly closer than the last. Breathing heavily she rested dusty blue eyes upon the large lion god with a smile. What a wonderful tale this would be to tell her cubs that a god had witnessed their birth. Her ears flattend and her head lowered to her paws as another wave of pain grasped her body.
Breathing heavily she looked up to Uri bowing her head, she truely was honored to have the cheetah patrol watching over her as well. "Thankyou Uri" she whispered her voice an ever so gentle muurr of a thing low in her throat her claws constantly gripping and relaxing. For a long moment the soon to be mother relaxed her breath coming heavy and long. It was not time yet, soon though the pains were telling her soon.

The coalition lands seemed to buzz with the news of cubs today. Adem quickened his pace, flying across the lands towards the area he heard Colche had occupied.
It didn't take long, for the sunspot legs had seemed to grow longer, and his form more lithe, to get to the small den. Scents of Colche, as well as a few others plagued the area, causing the male to cringe lightly. Oh, how he was so skittish around others! He peeked inside, spotting the two cheetahs (one being Colche), as well as the tall lion figure. Inwardly, the sunspot growled. He hated lions, but now was not the time for revenge.
"Colche..?" He called out softly, waiting from the entrance of the den.

Uri made as if to get up - but stopped and just smiled. He'd never met Adem but had heard of him. For all he knew, he was the father. Besides, he was a cheetah like them. The god was a lion, true, but he was a god. All Uri wanted was to make sure Colche was safe. More cubs meant more little souls to watch grow, and Colche was a friend. If anything did happen, another adult male around to defend would be useful.
And that was Bulknt the vulture on the horizon, keeping a close watch too. The glossy black bird knew what was going on down there. For the male cats and the sky lord, he'd swoop down and catch a newborn. Now it looked like there'd be no lunch for him. Bulknt now wouldn't dare...maybe he could eat the afterbirth when it was over and they'd gone.

Kweupe gave a warm smile to the female in return. Cheetahs were amoung his favorite animals in the lands of Africa he had called home and often he watched them from the skies, wondering if their speed could be enough for them to enter the skies with him.
"I assure you, the honour is all mine." Came the gentle reply from the winged lion. Being a god he was able to witness many a great thing, reincarnation, the powers that many other a god could perform, but none, in his general opinion, could compare to the great miracle of life. The thought gave him warmth inside as he hoped that the birth for this beautiful young cheetah could be as smooth as the skies themselves.

Colche's head lifted once again as Adem came in to view "Adem" she whispered her voice catching in her throat as she said it, she was glad the young male was there, he had promised to help her with her cubs. Her smile faded a little though and she grunted unhappily her shoulders tencing as the pain which shot down her spin made her stomach become taught as a drum. "ohh" her voice was clipped and painful at this point.
Unable to focus on anything in particular at this point the usually slender cheetah simply gripped the ground beneath her and clenched her teeth. She heard the words of the mild mannered god through her pain and she couldn't help but smile before her stomach tencedonce again. Looking down to her belly she pushed hard, bareing down as her first cub entered the world.
Colche breathed heavily and relaxed for a moment reaching down to break the umbilical cord with her teeth and pull the child against her soft downy stomach. It was strange that she knew just what to do, she found herself thinking about this as she licked and groomed the tiny male cub cleaning away the slick bag which surrounded him and grooming until his fur was dry. The blue eyed mother smiled. The cub, alot like his father she mused softly coloured and spotted rather than whorled as she herself was. She groomed the creame cub for a moment longer pushing him with her gentle nose against her side so that he could find a teat and feed. She had a way to go yet, she knew that but at least she was being granted a rest period. Her stomach moved and twitched but she lay still and quiet fussing over her first born. Her pains started slowly once again she was obviously being granted time between her birthings, hopefully not too much time she was already tired and by the end of this she would certainly be exhausted.

Deep purple eyes looked on as the cheetah began her first birth. Kweupe knew better than to watch as the female groaned and pushed, but he couldn't take his eyes away. He was mezmerised and glued to the ground, all he could do was stand there in awe.
"Amazing dear child, congratulations." Were the only words that could escape from the white maw of the Sky God. His smiled radiated warmly and he knew he was truely witnessing something amazing. His purple eyes grew wide as the first cub emerged. It was so different from its mother, and he thought that maybe the father was the orange male cheetah the pregnant female had called Adem. Kweupe couldn't help feeling some sort of pride for the female, and his smile crept wider across his maw as he watched the cheetah's motherly instincts take over.

A rough tongue brushing across his head and back. Those were his first feelings in this life. Bleating quietly, he wiggled his paws and limbs, but could not find strength to support himself. Then he felt like he was moving. What an odd sensation. And then to be thrust onto something fluffy and warm. His tiny paws kneaded at what was actually his mother's stomach, his head nuzzling into it deeply. Maybe...maybe he could open his eyes soon and see exactly what was the cause of all these sensations and sounds and smells.
Until then, his tiny mouth found an odd fleshy protuberance, which was indeed a teat. He wrapped his mouth around the teat and began to suckle gently, feeling almost as exhausted as his poor mother.

"Well done, dear Colche." Uri called down from his perch, proud of the quiet female who was bestowing new life to their lands. The creamy colour of the cub almost matched her fur, but the spots! Maybe he'd been right about Adem being the father, maybe not.
Still, it was a lovely little cub. A flicker of Uri's old shallowness came to the surface. Very pretty. Their co-al would become strong and beautiful as the years went by. Oh well done Colche!

Colche smiled blinking between the god and Uri owlishly she was tired but she had a long way to go yet. The pains came thick and fast this time and her claws clung deep i to the already hollowed out grooves. Her eyes closed tightly and she strained to push pausing for a moment and licking her lips. "ughh" she murmurs her body tncing once again, this cub was certainly larger than the last, perhaps not alot but the size was making a diference to her efforts.
Breathing heavily she tenced her whole body tight and looking pained as she pushed her second cub in to the light. "ohh" she breathed her heart racing in ehr chest her eyes tired. oh gods say that was it? She was exhausted. Reaching around she preformed the tsame task as she had with the first lifting this slightly larger cub this time though she lapped at his fur. A smile played on her lips, he looked like her, except that his spots and whorles were the same colour as his fathers. They would never meet him she knew that. It saddned her to think that but, but they would have a good life with all these friends. Puuring gently the dainty female cleanedher second cub until he was dry only to get a shock of movement. Another yet! Her ears flattened nudging her second child in to her body carefully.
She paused for a moment to look over the two males. Tiny, they were tiny and hers. She had braught them in to the world. Smiling softly she looked up to the god as he watched she wasn't embarressed only pleased that he should utter such praise to her.
For a moment the little female fussed over her two newborns her belly writhed, though she remained where she was, three, she was having three. She smiled serenely, and wondered what the gender of her third child would be. Remembering old stories her mother had told her of the three brothers. Was she to birth three sons? She would find out soon enough.

His first breath of air was a deep one, and he entered the world with a flump and alot of noise. Being pusshed and rolled and lifted though was a strange sensation to the feeling of the woub he had been so used to.
Of course upon beig pushed towards what would be his food source for a while he latched on and fed greedily his tiny paws melding with his motehrs stomach fur

With a purr-like growl, Uri lept from his rock. Getting a good glimpse of the two cubs at last, he started off towards his cache of food. He'd killed two hares earlier and ate a third. Hidden in a thorn filled acacia tree hollow, they'd do to feed the small group of adults. Something to nibble on, and if Colche slept before he ate next, he'd hide it close to her den. A gift from a friend to the new family, if a small one.
Uri hoped Adem, who he'd decided must be the father, wouldn't mind such offerings from another male.

Judging by the noises the still pregnant female was making, Kweupe guessed that there was another cub on the way. This time the Sky God remembered his manners and turned away when the female cheetah began her birthing noise, and allowed her some much needed privacy. The winged lion hoped the cheetah didn't mind him watching on, as he had nothing to do with this particular cheetah, or any that were in this small clearing amidst the african trees.
He turned slowley when he assumed that the noises had softened and looked onto the second born cub. It too, beared a resemblance to the Adem cheetah, but more so the resemblance lied with his mother. Kweupe breathed out slowley, enjoying the moment emmensly. "Congratulations dear."
