(( I have no problems if other wild dogs who aren't members of the Hamaji pack want to join in. They do travel around so they're bound to meet others. Feel free to come play with us! )) Well Haiji's conversation with Twawa had ended pretty much the same way as her one with Dhati had. But at least this time she had just turned her back on the nasty juve and would not be baited by her words.
Some interesting things had come out of the conversation. The progress of Dhati's pack, which seemed rather unruly and with a habit of losing their pups, was simply gossip as far as Haiji was concerned but she'd rather avoid her cousin and his relatives if they were all like him and Twawa.
But there was also a new threat. The humans Twawa described had stolen one of their pack's pups and though the Hamaji didn't have any in their's it concerned Haiji that Dhati was fearful of his life in his plan to rescue the lost pup. The humans could be a threat to adult dogs and the alpha didn't want to risk her new pack.
As she walked back to where she'd left them she thought about where to move to next.

Haveo stayed underneath a tree whilst the females were gone. Though really he hadn't realised that they were gone until he woke up. He was undoubtedly tired. Next to him lay the carcass of his pack's kill. Haveo was glad that nothing more than birds try to take away the kill. Anything more...and he wasn't sure.
The male stood up and paced a bit. He was nervous. This wasn't an area that he knew. This was the feeling he had when he was alone. He had gotten too comfortable all too soon. Indigo eyes looked up and scanned the area looking for the two females.

((Since Kengee's acceptance is a pending RP I'm including him, as otherwise it wouldn't quite fit into the timeline with them moving to a new area. XD))
Ujuzi had been pulled from sleep shortly after Haiji's departure, and the female had looked to the sleeping males, Haveo and Kengee, before turning to head off in the direction of the river for a bathing.
She had been gone for some time but was making her way back to the pack just shortly before Haiji.
She spotted the mustard-pelted male pacing, and barked out a greeting.
"Good morning... feeling restless?" She questioned calmly as she settled herself to sit near their small group, skin still a bit cool where the dampness had yet to dry, despite her run. The black patches of her pelt now had a healthy sheen to them once again, as opposed to the dusty apperance from the hunt before.

(( Yup, good idea Tahja. I'm assuming he's already joined in this since the rp with him meeting Ujuzi and Haiji is set a while ago. sweatdrop This keeps the timeline right. wink ))
Haiji trotted back to her little pack. Only four of them at the moment, but that did make it easier to look after them and keep a head count when they travelled. Or so she hoped. And she rather felt it made them closer to each other, she was able to get to know them all individually.
At the moment it seemed as though only two were awake. Ujuzi, who she wasn't surprised at. That dog was very reliable and it'd be surprising to see her sleeping in late. And even at this morning hour she looked well groomed and ready for anything. Haveo on the other hand looked a bit fretful. Perhaps he wasn't used to living with other dogs just yet? Or perhaps it was because he was away from his previous graveyard home. She would have to give him some attention, try to quell his worries.
"Morning Ujuzi, Haveo." She smiled and nodded to them in turn. "Kengee not up yet?" She lifted her head slightly higher as she was about to give the announcement. "Well we'll have to wake him soon, I think it's time we headed on from this place."

Haveo silently breathe out a sigh of relief when the two females returned. He turned to them and gave a slight nod of his head. "Good morning to the two of you as well." He wasn't really feeling restless, just nervous. It'd be a little bit longer before he was back at his full.
Haveo shook out his fur a bit, some dust flying off. He didn't like it when his fur felt heavy. Though he looked back up to their leader. They were moving? He blinked, well Haiji did say that they were a moving pack. He hoped that they didn't have to go anywhere near the graveyard. He didn't want to see another hyena for a long while.

Dafina after departing from his new found friend, mentioning joining her pack and fearing it, he trotted along and a fairly decent pace. He was well rested, but becuase of his foot and it's still slightly sore he was limping. He wasn't really allowing himself to feel the pain as he was a little mad about the mentioning but he decided he was better off not joining any pack Atleast not with her. Were there packs with out females? He decided he was definately a loner. He kept trotting a long until he stumbled into what appeared to be a... a group of dogs? Great Dafina thought. After her practically mounted up a stranger, and then offened her and tried to keep her as his friend he would now have to possiley do it again? He defiantely needed to work on his social skills. He saw.. A few dogs and he looked over towards Haiji. The minute he began to focus more closely upon the dogs, they were mainly naturally colored. He growled a little. He needed to think carefully about his choices. He didn't need to hurt his paw again, like he had when he fought Jamaa, but he didn't want to let them know he actually liked them... Naturally colored dogs... pfft. Who needs them.

Ujuzi offered Haiji her attention, turning her head in the direction of the oncoming alpha female. When all the current good mornings had been exchanged things looked like they might pick up an interesting note, but before they had a chance a black and red shadow caught the corner of the would-be-advisor's eye.
Her attention again averted, this time towards the newcomer, and she became a little tense, though it was a passing feeling.
"Can we help you with something?" She asked with an edge of warning in her voice, expression becoming void and sharp as the other stared in Haiji's direction. Ujuzi's large, sensitive ears easily made out the faint sound of aggression, and she responded with a gesture of her own, standing to face the direction of the other. It appeared neutral enough, but it was clear that she was ready to step up if Dafina tried anything foolish.

"I'm up, I'm up.." Kengee murmured lazily as his eyes blinked open and he rose to his feet, with a wide yawn that ended in a subtle whine. He hadn't yet noticed the rogue, instead far too preoccupied by another pressing matter; the curious itch in his ear. He'd have to do something about that before he could possibly think of anything else.
Only after he'd given himself a proper scratch did he notice the presence of another. "What did I miss?.." He mused in a pleasant tone at the sight of the newcomer. After noticing Ujuzi's position, he matched it with one of his own, though his tone and expression remained cordial.
"'Morning," he offered the male, before looking to Haiji to see what she planned to do.

Haiji returned Haveo's nod with a dip of her own and a slight touch of her nose to his. She had to grin to herself though when she looked at him. He was kinda dusty, as she could see when he shook himself. A contrast to Ujuzi's sleek and just washed coat. But she'd hate to not have either of them them with her.
She noticed the black and pale yellow dog's questioning look and continued. Not to mention Kengee had stirred now and would need to know what was going on. "Yes, we've been travelling along the boarders now and not far from the graveyard. The Pridelands are close and the pride is supposedly friendly to rogues and other animals wandering through. Not to mention the hunting will be very good there."
Just as she finished talking she also noticed the newcomer. Ujzui was quick to detect him and Haiji thought she heard a small growl from the red-patched wild dog. With an ear-flick she looked to Dafina too. "Hello there stranger."

Haveo blinked in surprise. He should've known. The two females have gotten two more to join. Adolescent males none the less. He wasn't sure how to react around them. Other males weren't his forte.
He sighed and once again the thought of a pack resurfaced. They were all equals right? So why did he feel like he was a bit more their superior...which would make Ujuzi and Haiji his superiors. Which was how he acted towards them anyway. He tried to shake that out of his head, Haiji and Ujuzi may not approve.
Violet eyes scanned the two males. One was more of light almost sand color. The other black, red, and white. That one. For some reason he wasn't sure if that one would get along with the rest, but aparently he would try. He didn't dare speak.

Dafina grew a little more aggersive, not only because his back paw was technically still wounded, but there were a bunch of other wild dogs looking at him. He notcied the Black and white with splotching female (Ujuzi) Had spoken to him, So had the Tanish spolotching male Even what appeared to be the absolutely gorgeous leader had spoken to him. What would he say? He growled a little more. He wished he really wouldn't get himself into these types of situations, but he couldn't exactly help it. He stumbled into these other dogs. "Hello" He nodded and responded the what seemed to be the leader. Then the other female who had a sharpness to her voice "I'm not sure" Then to the male. His voice completely differnt, more hard and mean. "Morning" It was short and sharp. He looked around. He wouldn't have a chance if he attacked any of them, nor if he ran. He didn't think they were exactly ready and rearing to eat him. "I am Dafina." His voice proud, and strong. "I'm just passing though." He decided he'd try what he'd seen Temari do a few times. He had heard what appeared the be the leaders mention of Travelling along the boarders, and the hunting... He pretend the let them know he did not hear it. "I will be travelling along the Boarders, not that far from the graveyard." It would be nice if he were able to not have to travel alone... But with naturally colored dogs? The Females he didn't mind. He could maybe have one of those for himself, but oh that male.

Ujuzi decided pretty early on that she didn't much care for this one, or at least his behavior, but Ujuzi was in general very difficult to warm up to to start with. His attitude, though, pushed her the wrong way. He acted like he was being forced to talk to them, the way he kept growling and looking so haughty. She also, in particular, didn't like the tone he took with Kengee-- who thus far besides the alpha/heir had spoken the most aimably to him.
This vibrantly colored male certainly did seem strange so far, what was his problem?
Ujuzi's attention became sharp while her eyes went a little distant. The others seemed so passive about this male's sudden apperance and, in Ujuzi's opinion, rude behavior, yet she felt in her bones that she was right to be distrusting. Distrust until prooven otherwise, that was her motto, and so far it had served her nothing but true. It was when she strayed from that belief that she ran into problems.
Still, the other seemed wise enough not to make an actual threat of himself, so Ujuzi allowed some of her aggression to slake off for the time being. She eased her posture a little and snorted in response to Dafina's second growl, looking to Haiji to see what she thought instead.

Kengee was generally a very laid-back sort of guy, but even he had to admit that the male was starting to push his buttons. The short response seemed like almost a challenge; one that Kengee was not willing to take him up on (at least not yet), but all the same, the gesture wasn't appreciated.
Also, it could have been the way the rogue was looking at the girls; Kengee didn't like it. He instinctively moved a little closer to Ujuzi, although he had been discreetly keeping his distance from her for the most part these past few days. He maintained a civil expression, but he wasn't going to be naive. He knew this could turn bad, fortunately, they had the advantage.
He didn't speak again to the male, as obviously this 'Dafina' had nothing to say to him. Instead he waited for Haiji's response.

Haiji returned the nod after a moment, as if unsure she ought to act polite when this one wasn't. She noticed the uneasiness of her fellow pack mates towards this new-comer. Indeed, he seemed very aggressive and rather curt... Nor did she fail to notice his mean tone when speaking to Kengee. By doing that, it was almost as if the strange male had spoken harshly to Haiji herself.
She stepped up to stand closer to her 'family', keeping her defensiveness up. "No need to get your hackles up, Dafina." She muttered warningly. "Or snap at my friends. We're not going to attack you." She gave a glance at his wounded paw. "Although it looks as though something already has...."
She raised an eyebrow at his mention of where he'd be traveling. But by his body language and aggressiveness she got the completely wrong idea. Instead of thinking he wanted company she thought he was trying to warn them from following him or getting too close. Good thing she was planning to head deeper into the Pridelands.
"That so? Well we're actually turning off that path so you don't need to worry about us."

Dafina looked around. He didn't want to be submissive infront of all these dogs, but what is he supposed to do...? He nodded this time only paying attention to what now he was sure was the leader. "My hackles are no where near up." And it was true... He was just Cranky and didn't want to have to deal with others. "I'm not snapping!" Very cranky. "Jamaa did not attack me I attacked him, for he is dirty, invading my space and ruining puppies lives! He deserved to die! And if this is all I get for it fine" His back hair stoof up like a cat and he slowly sat down onto his haunches and let out a howling bark. He had been extremely victorious in the fight between himself and Jamaa... "Well if you don't mind, while you're upon my path I will join you" it wasn't so much if she really minded, it was he was going to. He didn't want these dogs where he could not see them nor smell them. And maybe he'd get a free meal. He slowly let down his guard just a teensy bit, enough so when a small lizard scuttled by he didn't flinch and swap a paw at it. He paused his thoughts for a moment. He knew he hated this male... Why should he get to breed? The Females they were fine being naturally colored, All dogs knew it was the male who decides what colors will most influence the babies! But he decided he would not willingly interact with this male, unless he had to.
