I'm going to make a Thief/Rogue/Stalker.
What kind of stats would I start it out with, and what kind of stats would I continue grouping into it? What abilities should I focus on?
When ever I do things on instinct, it gets skrewed, so it may be nice to get other people's opinions on it. Specially when it's their experty. razz
Thanks in advanced biggrin

Well both Thiefs and Rogues need AGI, so the best thing to do is to start off with that.
Then, it depends what build you're making. If it's going to be a Bowmaster Rogue, focus on Dex, and getting Archer Skeleton Cards. Also, try and get a Sidewinder card onto it. Level 10 Double attack on a bow? Teh sehks. If you add an injustice, possibility of eight hits in a row with one arroe. : D
Dunno about a Melee Rogue, though.

I can help with melee rogues.
First it depends on what skill set your going for. The main types for melee rogues are: Divist, Gank, intimidate, and backstab.
Divist: I can't help you with this one much because they are used for stripping other players in PvP. and I don't PvP.
Gank: Want some Zenny? Than you want a gank rogue. Gank auto casts steal when your attacking with no SP charge. but your abliitly to steal is based on dex, so aside from good str and agi (staples of the thief classes) you need a good portion of dex. More so then a normal melle char. would need. Really , a lot of dex... about 60 or so.
Intimidate: Bloody fun skill. You are going to have a blast using this if you choose it. It makes it so you can use the last skill cast on you. If you get this you will most likey end up getting a monk to use raging trifecta on you so you can use that skill in normal combat. You will end up doing devistating amounts of damage very quickly. Also you dont have to worry about mussing your stats about, you can use generic rogue stats (Agi/Str with a moderate amount of dex/vit). The few problems ith the intim. rogue is that 1) it takes a lot to be able to use the skill, its the last thing your going to get. and 2) you can't levle anywhere that enemys can use skills on you. because if they do than your intim. turns into that skill insted of the one your trying to lvl with.
Backstab: Massive damage all in one move. the rogue verson of asura strike (but not nearly as strong). Max the skill backstab (duh) and put a lot of stat points into str. not many people use this anymore and I don;t reccomend focusing your build around it now that the skill has been nurfed so that you can't use it over and over, you now actually have to reposition yourself to use it every time.
hope this helped.
