whoa, charcoal? you've done a really good job not smearing those dark black places all over; that happens to me when i try to do something like this. its really very interesting; i like the flow of it. i dont really have anything to add, but i think its pretty awesome.

Thanks! I love using charcoal... it is so easy to manipulate! And when I started out drawing, I had no clue what I would end up with... so it came out all simplistic. I am glad you like it! ^_^

Interesting. I like the flow and the almost ribbon-like effect that you've used. I think the one falling bird's (the darker one, at least) could have used a bit more refining, but other than that... Nice!
