How can you get to Special Stages? I threw the manual away accidentaly... xp

Well, fill up the little Star Gauge thingy on the side of the screen a fair amount, and then go and find one of those rotating... things that float in mid air. (They're round and colored and have two little handles. Sonic can sort of "spin" around on them. I hope you know what I mean. I have no idea what they're called.)
Anyway, grab onto one while your Star Gauge is moderately filled, and hold down the dash (Y) button. Sonic will spin around and around, faster and faster, until a little portal thing above him opens up and sucks him right in!
The Special Stage features touch control and is reminiscent of Sonic 2. Have fun!
