What does donating to a guild do? Is it for the owner to use for him/herself or is there a good reason, like constructing stuff for the guild?

lol it's to buy stuff like subfourms etc (They cost 2500 each)

And to make the guild appear rich etc.

Only subforums are availible for spending guild gold so far but other features will be coming soon.
