No one seemed to understand, anymore. Or perhaps the world was so ignorant that ***** and friendship could be grouped into the same category.

Or maybe it was just MacBeth, who couldn't seem to let go of the past. Aurora had changed, she wasn't the same person that she was before. She would learn how to handle a sword, how to defend herself. She'd be quick on her feet, and quick to charm with her smile. She'd see MacBeth as an older brother or a mentor, not like before.

He didn't know whether to smile or frown. Her garden was still there, however there were a few weeds that were starting to grow. He knelt down and started to pull at them, not wanting her roses to die.

Then he thought of Terra. That poor girl, they were on the brink of starting a relationship until...

He wouldn't blame Aurora, it wasn't her fault. It was his own, for being fickle and remaining in the past.

He couldn't turn back, though.

How long had it been since she visited her greenhouse last? Too long, in Aurora's opinion. The place was probably overgrowing with weeds, and her roses were probably in dire need of help. A lot of help.

She was, of course, surprised to see someone in the greenhouse as she approached it. Who was in her greenhouse...? She started to feel a bit... Aggitated by the presense. It was HER greenhouse, and someone was trespassing in it?! But as she got closer, she saw it was a familiar face. MacBeth... Why was he there?

If he was lonely, he was about to get company. The blonde went over, stopping at the door and staring in at him. He appeared deep in thought as he tugged at weeds, about she knew not. What she did know was that Kuroneko-sama enjoyed seeing him in the greenhouse, the black feline promptly going over and rubbing all over the Scottsman. It made her smile, somehow.

"H-hey..." MacBeth was a bit surprised at the sudden attention, but when he saw that it was Kuroneko, he calmed down. He knelt down and pet the cat and looked up, knowing full well that Aurora would be there.

"Hope you don't mind the intrusion," he nodded, "But... your garden needed some attention and I just happened to be passing on the way to the field where I normally train."

He gestured to the sword that hung on his belt, as if looking at it would emphasize his point. He then scratched Kuroneko behind the ears, smiling a bit.

Rory blinked, then smiled again. "No, I don't mind at all, actually..." She looked at the weeds and overgrowth, sighing a bit. "It DOES need work... Do you think you could help me before you go off to train?" It was a simple request, and she was asking even with her eyes.

Tilting his head, the cat closed his eyes and purred, enjoying the affection. He was selective who he liked, and this one he adored.

"Of course! I'd be more than happy to help out a lady, even a pint-sized one," he winked good-naturedly before going back to pulling out the weeds and plucking the dead rose-blooms off of the stem so more could grow.

"I was thinking maybe you could continue your training with me today? If you were still interested in swordfighting, that is," MacBeth continued.

She tried not to get defensive about being called pint-sized, simply brushing it off with a smile. "Thank you." Bending down, she tugged at a particularly nasty looking weed(Nasty looking because it was just plain huge), trying not to fall over. "Alright! I'm still interested, of course!" The weed gave and she fell backwards, blinking before dropping the plant aside. Falling out of a tree was worse than falling on your butt pulling a weed, she told herself.

"Very well then. Let's work our hardest on fixing up this garden before we go to..."

MacBeth paused as Aurora fell on her butt, "Are you all right, there?" Falling on your butt, while not as bad as some injuries, could still be rather painful. Hopefully she hadn't landed on any thorns.

He stood over her and offered a hand to help her up.

A smile lit up the girl's face as she accepted MacBeth's hand. "I'm fine. I didn't fall on a thistle, and falling out of a tree is probably worse." Something in her mind told her that a princess should NOT be climbing trees. But at the same time, she knew princesses didn't usually learn how to use a sword. Aurora wasn't a normal princess, that was for certain.
