suicide is a very serious matter and it doesn't seem dum to those who are considering it because it seems like the solution to their problems, end it all. they are probably depressed to SERIOUSLY think about doing it at all and they need help.

Well I definately see some of myself in Killing Loneliness as well as Under the Rose.
The lines with the warmth of your arms you saved me from the former and I dream of the winter in my heart turning to spring........I open my eyes with a sigh of relief--those reflect myself I think.
With the warmth/arms lyric, I see my step-dad. I consider him my dad because he's been here for half of my life and he saved me from a loneliness...

Me_As_In_Moe Do the lyrics reflect on yourself? See......... all the songs have sentimental value. I dont wna go commit suicide. At all. Itsdumb. But do the songs reflect on you? I am confused. The song is about drug addiction not suicide. And even if a song is about killing yourself (::Cough::Join Me in Death::cough: smile the fact that you can relate to it doesn't mean you yourself are suicidal. It just means there is a sentimate or line that holds you and makes you go wow.

I think that the lyrics apply to everyone in one way or another. Songs can reach the soul through haunting melodies or the lyrics. it could apply to the death of a part of your life and not you physcal being.

I quite think the songs "Join me in Death," "Gone with the Sin," and "Funeral of Hearts" relate to me a bit.

Different strokes for different folks. That song is awesome though. The story behind where it came from is very touching. It's very open to interpretation. The fact that you become so dependent on something to make you feel better, even though it's bad for you is the over all theme of the piece and I think every one has dealt with that at some point and time weather it drugs bad relationships etc... Great song
