So Holly, Rach, and I met a guy named John at ren faire and Holly got his number. Last week. He was rather friendly. I said flirty, but Holly didn't like that. We all agreed that he was cool and we'd hang out with him again, but Rach and I- me being paranoid but not able to account for Rach- suggested that we get to know him slowly and make sure he's not secretly a perv or a jerk (paranoid, remember?). So we all agreed.
We made guesses at how old he was. I guessed he was 30, but Rach and Holly said he had to be no more than 25.
Two days later, Holly calls me to rant about how cool he was and, oh by the way, he actually is 30, but she is still planning on pursuing him.
The next day she calls me again, raving about how great this guy is.
So today we went to hang out at his house and watch movies. They were laying all over each other and exchanging kisses, even though Holly insists they are just friends.
I personally think its a little weird for he to date a guy 10 years older than her and I definately think its wrong for them to be so close after only a week of knowing eachother. But whether you agree with me on those points or not, I am afraid that Holly gives her heart away far too easily. I'm afraid for her, but I don't know what to do for her. She always tells me about he problems, but she never listens to my advice.

Alas. And it doesn't appear she's learning on her own either.

No updates really, she's just already been through. I remember walking to class with her in highschool and she'd be telling me how she was going to marry her current boyfriend and I would tell her that she wasn't going to.
Then just last month, she was sure she was going to marry Ben. I gave her the benefit of tge doubt since she'd known Ben since highschool and was still dating him, but that didn't happen either. Now she's with John and she already wants to marry him.
