Baptiste Fenwick Kirpatsh (age 26, birthday May 21)
Appearance: Baptiste has hair the color of straw that hangs to his shoulders. It's straight as a pin, but thick enough to be bound easily in a braid. His eyes are a strange shade of grey-green that sparkle especially green when he's up to something. Which happens more often than you'd think. Underneath his shirt, his skin is as milky-white as a babe's, but he spend most of his time outdoors, so his face and arms are the color of cinnamon. He stands six feet tall, and weighs around 150 pounds. He considers himself thin to average, but is not stickish. He's quite flexible, in every sense of the word. He may be thin, but he has a shape about him. Hard work has defined his muscles, and he has soft, curved hips. But not like a woman's.
Personality: Baptiste is a smooth talker who can make judgments in a snap, although whether those judgments are always good remains to be seen. He's very good at reading people, which comes with the mercantile art--he can tell if they have hidden motives, or if they're being too open. He smiles a lot, winks more, and flirts even more. He's a sly businessman, a shrewd trader, and an expert romancer. He's been what some would call....cavalier, but his philosophy is that you only live once. He tends to not get upset or angry or impatient, at least not outwardly, which lends him an air of irritating nonchalance. Another philosophy of his is that the little details of life aren't worth worrying about.
Background: Baptiste has always been a gypsy. His family were gypsies, and most of them probably still are. His parents met near a river and fell instantly in love, as the story goes. They split off from their own caravans to start their own. When each of their six children came of age, they were given their own wagon to join the family caravan. At the age of twenty, two years after receiving his own wagon, wanderlust struck him and he found a new caravan to join. It was a trading unit, and taught him everything he knows about the art of selling things. He stayed with that caravan for five years until the death of the caravan leader, a fine, noble man by all accounts, led to unrest and fracture. The members of the caravan decided to divide the wares amongst themselves, and to split off and go their own ways. Baptiste, his wagon, his wares, and his horses had all wandered for a year, selling as he goes and half-heartedly looking for another traveling family before coming upon this caravan.
Family: Father: Jacob Kirpatsh Mother: Juliette Kirpatsh Brothers: Geoffrey, Lennor, and Tem Kirpatsh Sisters: Nettie and Nora Kirpatsh Sibling Order: Geoffrey, Baptiste, Nettie and Nora (twins), Lennor, Tem.

"Mossy Charm has been my home for ten years. When I first received it at age eighteen, it was like a bedroom in the string of wagons my family had. When I left the Kirpatsh Caravan and joined the wise old trader, it became my life, my love, and my lady. I called it Mossy Charm because it reminds me of myself. Self-complimenting aside, I'm a charming man. It's a good thing to know about oneself. I have a smooth, soft way about me, though. I am nothing if not subtle. The moss that grows on the roof only adds to the quaintess of my little wagon."
Mossy Charm is home to Baptiste and to Tamlin. Baptiste's horses Jolie and Folle pull the wagon, with Tamlin's horse Brid always near. More recently, a raccoon has joined the wagon, to Tamlin's delight and Baptiste's annoyance.

 Jolie Folle
These two great beasts are Baptiste's mares, Jolie and Folle. Jolie is a gorgeous creature, and seems to know it. Folle is a more humble sort, but silly.

  Tamlin Máire Sorcha (age 22)
Father: Éamonn Miach Sorcha (age 47) Mother: Siobhan Gráinne Sorcha (age 46)
Little sister: Ceara Aisling Sorcha (age 13) Little brother: Cassán Laisrén Sorcha (age 17) Older brother: Daigh Faolán Sorcha (age 25) Oldest brother: Lasair Conall Sorcha (age 27)
Horse: Brid
Personality: Tamlin is young and full of life; she is a performer in every aspect of the word. She is about as showy as her vibrant red-red curly hair. She is from a large family and knows what it takes to be noticed. She wears bright colors in long comfortable layers; her performing outfit is modeled off a burning fire. She is very flirtatious, unless she knows the man is taken, she does have her moral code. Her mother was very cleanly and Tamlin, out of habit tends to pick up misplaced items and make things orderly.
Background: Tamlin is the middle child of 5, she is 19 and has been traveling on her own for a year. Her family is form Ireland, and not all are gypsies. Some have stayed in Ireland in a clan and earn their living off the land or as merchants. Others do roam Ireland or the mainland. Her’s is a family which does so, they return to Ireland once a year to share news, celebrate weddings and births, or mourn deaths. Her family has the tradition of traveling in single family units until the children are 18, and then to grow up, they leave the family for a few years before deciding to return to Ireland, return to the family, start a new family, or join a caravan. Tamlin has decided she will not return to Ireland, she wants to continue traveling as a gypsy. She definitely wants her own family, so she is always looking for male attention, but she is picky about the men she chooses to be in a relationship with.
Currently: Tamlin was traveling near Port Tempranillo performing whenever she needed money, but mostly letting wanderlust take her anywhere. Unfortunatly, when she was crossing a river her wagon got caught and all she was able to save was herself, Brid and anything Brid was carrying. Luckily her money was on her and her valuable instruments and performance items were in saddle bag on Brid. So she continued on foot to the Port and begin performing to try and earn money to afford traveling supplies and maybe a wagon, but food and Brid would have been fine. However, news reached her that a Gypsy caravan had come to the Port. She met a fellow Gypsy Baptiste, and he graciously accepted her into his wagon. And from there, both of them were accepted to join Valelldia’s caravan when it left the Port.
Family: Her entire family performs one way or another. Tamlin’s mother is an amazing singer; she is an alto and has never failed to make her audience cry during ballads or laugh aloud during bawdy drinking songs. She also plays several instruments which she has taught her children. Her father is good with a tambourine, but foremost he is an acrobat, and again he has taught his children his trade. Tamlin, Cassan, and Lasair, all took to their father more then their mother. All three are extremely capable acrobats. Tamlin plays the flute and dances beautifully, but nothing spectacular and she has a fair voice to carry a tune. Cassan and Lasair both play percussion to accompany their mother, Ceara, and Daigh. Ceara has a sweet floating soprano voice that may one day rival her mother’s, and Daigh is quick becoming a master at fiddling. Together they all pitch in and perform with music and acrobatic talent to any audience they can find.
