first HUGE concert. at a HUGE venue okay, so i went to velvet revolver at starwood, but i was backstage. (and velvet revolver isn't that good anyway.) anyway, my dad decided to scare the s**t out of me by telling me how one girl nearly died at a green day concert, how she couldn't breathe and how the whole crowd was just pushing against her. am i really in that much danger? any experience stories from those who have been on the floor at a GD concert?
sorry to bug you all, lovies. i'm so paranoid.

I have never been to see Green Day live crying But I was on floor at a Sum 41 concert and where me and my friends were so excited that we got right up by the gates but then we ended up in the middle of the mosh pit so that was a little hard. We couldn't breathe and one of my friends almost fell to the floor. Just pretty much stay out of the direct centre of things and it's all good. I wouldn't call it danger as much as a bad place to stand. That was the first concert I had ever gone too actually...but the pain was so worth it! xd

From my experience, you get pushed, squeezed, squished, bruised andother such lovely things. I have asthma, and I came out ok, so you should be fine (unless you are very, very tiny...I might recommend having a larger someone with you in that case just so that if you begin to get crushed you'll have someone strong to help you out). I didn't see any major injuries while I was there, so you should befine. Remeber, this is Green Day. Half of the pit is made up of screaming pre-teen females who forced thier boyfriends to come...

Haha that's not exactly the best idea. You'd get trampled by everyone else, and then ecurity would come and take you away. You wouldn't even get to see the rest of the show. And it would be hard for them to see you, becuase if you faint you'll still be supported by all the crazy people who like to push everyone so you feel like a sardine. It's nearly impossible to fall over until people realize you're unconcious and make room for you. And HaHaYou'reDead, don't worry. You aren't going to die. You are going to get very, very sweaty and a little bit bruised and broken, but nothing serious. You just may be sore for a little while ^_^

Peeko (T)assie you're scaring me i'm going to a concert at the 7th of juli.... What if I get pushed and stuf gonk razz ... but I think I'll be ok hell, thats part of the fun. That's what my friends tell me. They all went to fall ball and they said the mosh pit was crazy. The Used made them ram into each other, he like split them apart in the middle and made them run towards each other. than BOOM they met and got squished.

It wasn't very bad at all at the show I went to last year. Like, I had my own personal bubble. There was a good ammount of space between everyone, and the mosh pits were pretty tame.
I think it would be kinda cool if you got hurt and the boys came to see you in the hospital. But that's kind of a twisted fantasy. "OOH I HOPE SOMEONE BREAKS MY ARM."

the best thing about getting hurt, punched , squizzed, tortured, rotten, bla bla bla bla bla....... in a green day concert is that you will forget it in the instant you start to watch them, or well, at least try to watch them between all that people, just watch out about those guys who start to mosh in a bad way, because they are too agressive, i think that i deserve all that torture just for watching them, i couldn't even give the credit that i saw them !

It really isn't that bad. If you're short, people tend to be nice and if you tell them to back off, they do. You do get pushed a LOT but sure, that's fun, and it IS Green Day. I doubt you'll die, so I think you'll be okay. 3nodding I wouldn't be surprised if you passed out, but it really isn't that bad, and the GD ARE nice and if you're with your friends they'll try and get you out so can breahte and they'll tell people to move out of the way for you, if it's really bad. Sure, I got stuck and I needed to get out cause I couldn't breathe and some guy said "Need a push out?" and I said "Yeah, it's getting a bit dehydrating in there..." and he said "okay lads! GO!!!" and it was so much fun. xp
