Before I get started on what this topic is about I'd like to make it clear that I am not bashing what the mods work so hard for or even giving the idea that mods do not carry out their work properly.
I am only stating that to alot of users would fear of being contacted by mods. I see it that mods are normal people, which they are. The only difference from a mod and a normal user is that one has the duty to protect Gaians from harassment and offensive material that may offend users. This may be because the general idea of being contacted by a mod if of something of importance and often times the person being contacted has done wrong. Alot like with cops. If a cop cones to your house most anyone would be alittle uneasy. Even with knowing they hadn't done anything wrong. I know I haven't done anything wrong on Gaia and I'm sure that if I do I will be treated properly. I don't know if they is a way to solve this common misunderstanding of mods. But I think if there is I'm sure Gaia will be alot closer between mods and users alike. I created this topic not to defend one idea of change peoples minds. Only to hear the other thoughts on this idea. Please share. ^^

I do have a resquest though, reading the title causes my eyes to bleed, would it be pobble for you to add and alternate title in brackets or something?

And if you have a real problem with one, there are places to discuss it. the Coalitiion, for example. But most of the time, mods are decent Gaian beings.

By saying that I'm saying nothing, I'm implying that I have strong opinions on the subject that either directly contradict, directly support, or would like to add upon the opinions of the person to whom I was replying. Really, Vague, I thought you were more observant. wink
