what are some of your least favorite romance movies because they are just altogether to impossible. include music, dialogue, cheesy lines, anything that you just found unbearable about it.
i think that i shall start off with A knights tale with heath ledger, chaucer and purple hair. oi, i love queen don't get me wrong but it doesn't belong in a movie set in the middle ages.
i also didn't like ella enchanted either it was something to do with the way they talked and the fact that the prince was allowed to marry a common girl......does that make any sense?

A Knight's Tale was based off a Chaucer story. I like the fact that they put him in the movie. And the modern touches made it more interesting. But that's just me. It's a period movie, but then it's...not. xp And I don't think it's set in the Renaissance. It was more like the Middle Ages.
And...if you didn't like the fact that the prince married a commoner, then wouldn't you not like a lot of movies? /:
The only movie I can think of is Rumor Has It and I don't really know if that can be considered a romance movie. xD But if I was Jeff, I wouldn't have taken that lying, cheating slut back. At least, I'm pretty sure he took her back. I sort of blocked most of the movie out it was so bad.

it wasn't really that he married a commoner it was more that nobody made a big stink over it...... i don't know, i'm all for marrying for love, but i just expect certain things in a movie set in the middle ages, sweatdrop
chaucer was a good touch though. blaugh and the story wasn't altogether to bad, but it just didn't hit me the right way......
i liked how they ended up together in the end, though!

phoenix_heart i liked how they ended up together in the end, though! I will admit that I had a bit of a problem with the ending. He was stabbed through the shoulder with a pointed peice of wood! Yet when she ran down into the arena or whatever, he jumped off the horse, valuted over the little wall thingy and started kissing her like he was alright. I dinna get it.

Most of the lines Anakin said to Padme in Star Wars Episodes II and III were pretty bad...I do remember cringing when I saw them in the theater.
I think Anakin is pretty much an emo drama llama. emo dramallama (I love the new icons!)

This is not necessary to do with romance movies but I hate it when they make historic movies and then get all the historic facts wrong. Ahhh!!! It is calledd RESEARCH!!!!

I also hate those chick-flicks where the characters get together whithout actually working out there problems. There was one where the guy was kind of responsible for her husband dyeing and she still stayed with him after she found out, without any descent explanation. It erked me.

When they redid "Romeo and Juliet" in present time with Leonardo Di'caprio. >.< soo bad.
I sooo agree with Dewdew all the way 3nodding
Most Disney movies are horrid. >.< I know they arn't based for romance...but come on!! >.< They are just so horrid. Also, any movie that involves some one ruining a wedding. Like, when a guy comes in at the last moment, shouting how it shouldn't be right and blah blah blah...yeah, it is just wrong!!! >.< not only is the guy left out all alone with his hand on his a**, but they just wasted an a** load of money!!!
