((This thread thar be so Tovi and Tadrith can actually have an entire conversation without one owner needing to dissapear. xD Title is accustomed to change without warning, because I'm bored like that, but Dri's and Tov's names will always be in it. Enjoy!))
It was a boring day for Tadrith, having not seen a soul around the Meadow while on his rock. It was 'exam' time for H.E. (he still didn't understand why she didn't just skip them and stayed at the house the entire time) and thus she had dissapeared out of the house to wherever the redhead went during those times. Which left him with the brats.
Noooo way.
So Tad had started to go to the Meadow even earlier than usual, getting up early and hurrying out before the majority of the house was awake. That Sora kid was really getting on his nerves, trying to talk and make friends with him -- like he'd want to -- but luckily he slept like a log until noon if he was undisturbed. Verde was somewhat tired most of the day anyway. Both knew better then to disturb him if he was on his rock (not that Sora didn't try).
He may be out of the house full of brats, but that didn't make it any less bored. Letting out a giant sigh, Tadrith hoped to whatever was up there that someone would come to cure it. Specifically Tovi.

The bright pink Talaye had bounded out of the house and around the woods for a long while. The demon was moping around the house, it had something to do with the dragon lady, and so that ment Tovi was free from baby watching since the demon was around.
She eventually found herself running around the meadows chasing a rather bright green butterfly. She didnt really want to catch it and since it seemed in no hurry to get away from her she was happy to chase it around until either it or she tired out.

Tadrith blinked at the sound of rustling grass and looked to see who exactly was making the noise. And, sure enough, there was a pink Tala chasing a bright green butterfly around. Holy shishkabobs, there must really be something up there! With a grin, Tadrith decided to try out how loud his lungs could get.
"HEEEEEEEEEEEEEY TOVI!"

She almost fell flat on her face as she heard her name shouted out. Turning around, the butterfly fluttering off as fast as it could, she spotted the familier black shape of Tadrith.
"TAD!" She had seen him not that long ago but the hyper Talaye was always happy to see the other. Feet sliding on the grass for a second she turnned herself fully and scampered off in the direction of Tad

Tadrith grinned as he watched Tovi bound towards him. She always had been an excited ball of fur ever since he met her. Standing up on his rock and hopping off, Tadrith romped towards her (with only minimal stumbling too!) to meet the pink Tala half way.
"How've you been? I mean, it's been what, three days?" He grinned wider.

She stopped, rump hitting the ground so she didnt run into him, and smiled. "Had to get away from the house.... Hatter has been sad." She didnt like the demon being sad but she couldnt really do anything about it.
"How have you been? Not just laying around here still right?"

She scrunched her nose and huffed at him. "You could find something to do." She reached up and poked his muzzle. "Sitting around being bored is not fun, plus you might get fat if you start sitting on your butt all the time."

"I could, but that would mean leaving my rock, and how else are you going to find me if I'm not lazing there?" Tadrith poked her muzzle back. "And you come and make me move, don't you? Besides," he commented with a lazy air, "I have the metabolism of a saint. Or a demon. Whatever."

"You sure? You do look a little bigger lately." She grinned. "Maybe i should make you run off all that lazying"

"Ah, but that would take time an effort! And it is much too hot to actually do something like that." He puffed out his cheeks slightly, mock insulted at the comment about his weight. "I will have you know that I am as spry as I was as a pup." Tadrith grinned again. "Maybe I should beat you at that run, just to show that I could win even after lazing." His grin turned into a smirk, the challenge in his eyes. "Flight and running, hm? Run to that tree over there, then fly back to my rock?

"You're getting lazy" She giggled and hopped around.
"That's not fair. I can beat you in a race, but i suck at flying and you know it!" She had always sucked at flying, which was probably why she could run so fast.

"Not lazy~ I'm just hibernating for the fall." Tadrith winked at her and watched her hop around.
"And that, my dear Tovi, is the point. Only challenge someone when you are sure of winning." He grinned wickedly as his tail swished from side to side. It was so enjoyable to banter and play around like this again.

She stopped her bouncing for a moment. "Though i could probably run to the tree and back before you could even get to the tree."

"That's certainly true in some things, but in times like this, the male must preservere." He struck a dramatic pose, nose pointing up loftily in the air. "After all, boys are better at stuff than girls." He snickered and lowered himself back onto the ground, looking back at Tovi. "Though you're probably right with the running. I'm manly enough to admit I have a very minimal handicap in this running business."
