Degewi wandered the clearing unknowingly near the Kawani village. He stopped to comtemplate the sounds around him.
Hearing water just in the distance, he thought there might be a river.
Dreading having to cross this, he decided to nibble on some grass before moving on.
Bending down he begain to sniff for something to eat.

Chief Tawadi was feeling much better after the incident with the settlers. It was quite an embarrassment for him to fall down with shock by a firestick. Weren't these weapons of the spirits? He wasn't sure anymore.
Tawadi decided to venture forth towards the river for a cool drink of water. It had been such a long day and he was very thirsty.
Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted the most magnificent soquili. It was a stallion painted in rainbow warpaint with feathers adorned in their hair.
He grunted and turned to the left, hoping that the soquili would hear him. The owner wasn't anywhere nearby so he couldn't ask information about this great beast and why it was painted so.

Degewi lifted his head quickly at the grunting sound.
He sniffed lightly and turned his head in the general direction of the sound. He could tell it was a two legger, but just a grunt was odd from them.
He stood still and tried to pin point where the two legger was so he could hide the fact that he was blind.
