Mbali had given into her and had rested all night. He hadn't slept much though, he was on guard while Bari slept. He was growing up too fast, but his mother had always told him that and he was happy to be growing up.
He sniffed about a little as he woke up from his final nap. He stretched and looked at Bari before looking at the rising sun. He wasn't sure how she would take being woken up so he left her, just sitting, watching for any dangers.

It wasn't long after the sun had appeared over the horizon that Bari had awaken. She mrred quietly, moaning as the light hit her tired eyes. "Stupid sun!" She hissed, rolling over, accidently bumping into Mbali. "What the..." She peeked open an eye, spotting the white juvenille. "What'reyoudoinghere?!" Bari growled, forgetting for a moment she was travelling with him.

He looked down at her and rolled his eyes, "Ye forgotten about yesterday?" He tilted his head a little and a smile couldn't help but crawl onto his face. However annoying and pathetic Bari could be, she was also rather amusing, waking up being one of the most amusing!

"Shut up." Bari sneered. "I didn't." She hissed, growling as she rose to her feet. "Let's get going again. We already wasted time talking right now." She stated, beginning to walk off. The mocha female was starting to get hungry...but who were they kidding? If they tried hunting, they would probably be trampled. Forging, perhaps?

He laughed, "what if I dont want to shut up hmmm?" He smirked and saw a mouse tottering around in the shade. He watched it for a while, Bari obviously hadn't seen it.
He pounced it and killed it quickly. "I guess I will eat this, after all a mouse wont be good enough for someone like you will it?" He would offer it to her if she wanted, but she seemed to want the best, some snobby princess, thats what she was like!

"Eat it, I don't care!" She countered, still continuing to walk forward. "Who eats mice anyways? A good zebra will do me some good!" She said, stalking as a herd of zebras moved into her range. "See, don't they look good?" She licked her maw, growling as hunger swarmed her brain. Yet, she wasn't stupid. She was going to attempt the fight.

Mbali shrugged and ate the mouse quickly. "Your loss and if ya want one... go get one. I don't want to be killed." He then licked at his paws to clean them of while he watched what she was going to do.

Bari glared at him (there was a lot of glaring from her, wasn't there?). "Maybe I will go get one then!" Just to prove him wrong that she could take down the creature. The mocha pridelander moved forward, eyeing the smallest foal from the bunch. She wasn't serious..was she? Oh yes..she was!

He would be impressed if she managed to get it, but at the same time, a juve brought up in a pride, hunting skills weren't amazing! see, yet another reason why rouges are good!
He would watch though, it would be amusing.

Amusing? For Mbali perhaps, but not Bari. The small cub seemed to act fearless, but inside she was really dreading everystep; however, the small cub couldn't turn around. That would only cause for more ridicule on her part. She growled, tail erect, heading straight for the zebra.
Unfortantly, luck wasn't on the former pridelander's sign. Once the patterned equines caught sight of the red tail fluff, hell broke out. Whinnying loudly, the herd took off. Except...in the direction of Bari. The small juvenille's eye's widened as she turn to flee, but quickly was caught between the madness of hooves.
Within seconds (which felt like hours to the poor lioness) the stampede of zebras was complete, leaving a small mewl to escape the pridelander's maw. Huddled in a ball, the teal eyes of the princess squinted in pain, a gash present on her back thigh (from where a sharp hoove had made contact with the skin) as well as a funny dispositioned tail (probably from being stepped on).
Not willing to open her eyes, she just laid there. Should've learned your lesson Bari.

Mbali had watched with a smile on his maw till teh zebras charged at Bari. He got out the way of the hooves, snapping at any that came towards him but he couldn't see the lioness.
As they cleared he saw her body, still breathing but hurt. He rushed over and licked at her side. "Oh Bari..." He hoped that she wouldn't try and eat him for cleaning her wound but it had to be clean, he would fight her to clean it, if he had to.

The small juvenille faintly heard her name be called, and open her eyes wearily. What did he want? She growled, in both pain and annoyance as Mbali had started cleaning her wounds. "Getorff." She slurred, raising (or rather attempting to raise) a paw to slap it at him. "I dun't neeeed you." She murred, curling herself into a tighter ball, trying to cover her wounds from the other juvenille.

He snarled somewhat and continued licking the wound. It was harder now she had curled up more but he managed to do it, just about. Once he was just about done he stopped. "Bari dont talk stupidly, what would have happened if I wasn't here? You may even die. Now come on, get up if we can get you to the shade I will see if I can catch a rabbit for you. You protest and I will give you another cut to go with that one." He spoke seriously and in a commanding voice. This juve was being stupid, there was no doubt about it!

"Nothing." She hissed, eyes narrowing as she glared weakly at Mbali. "I wouldn't have even attempted that." She snarled, baring her teeth. However, the mocha female tried moving to stand. "I don't need your pity," Her words still slurred a bit, stumbling greatly as she walked towards the closest tree cascading shade.

"You dont have my pity. I wouldn't waste it on you." He spoke bluntly. After all she was being harsh but then he had Mbaya as a sister so it took more then a few hisses to insult him. "Just do what your told for once in that small life of yours."
