'The Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy' was a great series of books but I'm worried about the movie ruining the experience of the books.
Do I have a point or will it improve the experience?
Any other comments about 'The Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy' I would love to talk about with you!

I have not read those particular books...but yes, the film will inevitably destroy any legacy of the books

*Hasn't read books YET before you start*
Lord of the Rings wasn't ruined by a movie! XMen also was not "Ruined" (just changed a little) but i do agree with the Harry Potter thing! XP
*Goes back to her guild before writing a "Grovel grovel, please give me money" letter.*

*Goes back to her guild before writing a "Grovel grovel, please give me money" letter.* I have to agree with that. It all depends on how it is made really.

a long book or series of books is normally a bad film, but a tv series or comic series where detail is not so important are often good films. not always true, LOTR was a wicked set of films. But did miss much of the smaller detail that made the books.

Iread that whole series. twas a B-day present from my sister. *smiles* It was great, and I am "HOPEING" that the movie will not ruin it. If they do it right it could be an awesome film.

I just hope the film doesn't draw attention from the books but to the books.
