She had not wandered very far today she was sitting beneath a tree. though it was not the great baob tree which most of the coalition nested under it was more private. Colche had been feeling the need to be a bit more alone of late. this need stemmed from her belly and worked it's way up. Her time would come soon enough and she would away to the secret den she had found to birth her cubs. She still did not know the amount that roamed her distended stomach only that it was more than one. One cub could not make so much havoc on ehr waist line!At least she thought it couldn't.
Sighing softly she shifted for the twentieth time int he past hour. She could never settle these days trhe cubs pressing upon her abdomen made relaxing very uncomfortable.

Afternoon was quickly diminishing as night approached. The sounds of the day dawned away as the moon slowly drifted upwards, making an appearance in the sky.
Adem had just finished a little hunt, a rather large hare hanging from his maw. He was heading towards one of the trees of the coalition lands, unaware that Colche, the one who had brought him here, had been resting there.
Spotting the female, he smiled as best as he could with the prey in his mouth. Though his form remained small, he timidness seemed to fade away. He bounced towards the pregnant female, "Kohl!" He began with his mouthful, dropping the hare at her paws. "Lookit what I caught!" He said, grinning like a cheshire cat.

Colche laughed softly. "Hello davu'Adem she puurred her throat filled with the soft calming sound. her sweet blue eyes drifted to his killa nd she resisted licking her lips "you are a very good hunter" she cooed a slight sigh escaping her as she shifted her bulky weight once again ahjer brow furrowing. "How have you been fareing? well I hope, I'm afraid i'v been away for quite a while" she gave a gentle sigh resting once again her forepaws crossing as they always did when she spoke to another. It was becoming a habbit for her.
Her long tail twitched as she watched the young male. So many handsome healthy and careing males around and she had to find some rogue who left her in this, this condition! Shaking her head, she looked ashamed though she hadsaid nothing outloud she knew full well it was her fault too she had fallen for his charms. Hormones were starting to get to her.

"Yes! I am a good hunter!" He chuckled, nudging his kill towards Colche. "Are you hungry? You can have some if you want!" He purred, tail flicking behind him as he bumped heads with her slightly, before sitting down besides her.
"I've been well. Practicing my hunting skills while watching the borders! There isn't many threats around here though.. I like that!" He grinned, purring quietly.
He looked over her, watching her shift. Was something wrong? His golden eyes blinked. "Are you okay...Colche?" He asked cautiously.

The sweet femme smiled gently nudingher cheek against his as he lay beside her. Sighing gently she spoke in a quiet manner "I'm glad you're doing well" she cooed, she truely was though she didn't wnat to take his hunt off of him she was a little hungry. she bit her tongue,s eh would hunt later, she didn't want to take his hunt.
When he asked was she okay she looked up at the soft orange coloured male and smiled wistfully "Considering circumstances, I'm fine" she puurred softly though she grunted and shifted her bulk again. She just dcouldn't sit still for very long it was damn uncomfortable. perhaps she should try laying on her back as Raja had suggested? Silly idea really!

Adem blinked. He really didn't know much about pregnant females or anything like that, so this situation was new to him! "Considering what circumstances...?" He asked curiously, blinking with each passing second. Oh yes, he was confused. He was really confused!
He watched her eye his kill, before nudging it more towards her. "Go ahead. Take it, I'm sure you're hungry!" He said. "I can always catch another one." Adem said sincerely, nodding his head as he spoke.

Colche smiled. She had almost forgotten how young Adem was. Perhaps his mother had never taught him the facts of life? She giggled softly and nudged Adem under the chin "I'm pregnant adem, I'm having some cubs" She pointed her nose at her belly it was fairly large now, she had clearly lost her usually slim lined figure and replaced it with the bulge.
Eyeing the hare once again she lowered her ears she was embarressed. "I don't want to take your killl Adem" She cleared her throat looking at the hare again she was hungry she had been eating so much more lately than usual still she had never been offeerd a meal before was it fair for her to take it?

"..P..preg...pregnant?" He gasped. He was about to ask how that happened, but then the feeling a certain...uncomfortness talk would be coming along the lines of that. "Do...do you know when?" He stuttered, shocked about the whole deal.
"You aren't taken it. I'm offering it too you! Besides...you have to feed those cubs of yours...so you need it more than I do!" He nodded. "Like I said...I can always catch something else for myself later! This was more like...a practice hunt for me!" He lied, but he didn't want to tell Colche that. She looked hungry, so she should eat it!

The gentle female shook her head "I'm afraid not no. I suppose i just have to wait until it happens" She looks at Adem with a sigh on her lips she gave a puurr, perhaps she needed to explain herself to him? "I met him on my travells i thought he would stay with me forever he was so..so dashing" She sighed softly the ur on her neck standing on end as she physically shivered "I suppose I was niev to think so, cheetahs rarely mate for life I simply hoped he would stay.." she trailed off looking towards her tummy which moved with the shifting of cubs within. She knew she wasn't due yet but they had started to move around and kick at her insides. it wasn't uncomfortable. It was almost comforting to know they were all alive in there. Still they caused her discomfort when trying to relax and worries on her mind. "I'm a little frightened" she whispered lookign at her front paws then. She had fears for her future for her cubs she could hardly remember her own mother yet she had to be a mother now? it worried her.
Looking at the large hare once agains he looked up at the sweet little male and gave him a pretty smile "You are very kind Adem" she whispered clawig the hare between her fore legs so that she could tear away the fur and eat the flesh beneath. She really was quite ravenous.

Cheetahs..don't...what? His parents had always been together..hadn't they? It WAS his father Adem had seen with his mother before they had died..wasn't it? He shook his head, Of course it was!
"Don't be frightend." The sunspot whispered quietly, nuzzling into Colche like he would if she was his mother. "I'm here! You don't need to be scared with others are aorund! After all, not only do you have me...but you have Laio and the rest of the Coalition to help protect your cubs!" He nodded.
Adem smiled. "If you aren't satiated after that, I can always catch something else for you." He nodded. "Just...say the word, okay?" He laid down beside the female cheetah, purring quietly as she watched him eat.

Colche looked at Adem pausing in her meal she licked her chops and nuzzled the small sunny coloured male "Thankyou adem, I'v just never had to be a mother before, it's frightening" she smiled and gave ashort laugh. "I know that sounds strange, I know everyone will help but I, I will still be their mother Adem I don't want to let them down" She sighed softly and turned to groom the young males forehead for a moment. she was enjoying his puuring. he was such a sweet youngster. How was it that she managed to find the one male that didn't want to be committed when there were so many wonderful creatures int he land she had left behind? She shook ehr head, she was foolish that was why.
Turning her attention back to the hare she took another bite and swallowed. there was hardly anything left but she was stuffed. the cubs against her stomach left her hungru for little meals through out the day rather than just one big meal and the hare certainly was a whopper. "that hare must have oput up quite a fight it was huge" she smiled her dusty blue eyes smiling lightly. "I'm quite stuffed" she puurrs rubbing ehr cheek against his "thankyou, why didn't my cubs get a father like you?" she puurrs licking his cheek affectionately.

"Well...there's always a first for everything, isn't there? I mean..sure there wouldn't be a first for me being a mother.." He shifted, that was awkward to say..." ...but I would be a father if I ever found a mate!" He said, somewhat quietly. "And I'm sure you won't let them down. You didn't let me down!" Adem said cheerfully, purring more as she groomed at him.
The adolescent chuckled at her comment about the prey. "Ah, it was nothing!" He said, almost embarrassed to be complimented. "You're full though? If you aren't, remember I can always go get you some more." He nodded, flicking his tail over hers.

Colche smiled at the little male and gave a soft sigh as he spoke of mates and the future. "you could be a mother if you like of course you can't do the whole pregnancy thing but thats not what being a mother is about" She smiled rather cheekily and licked his cheek in a quick little peck of a lick. "I'm sure you will make a wonderful father one day Adem, you're sweet and kind and who ever claims you as their mate is blessed." She looked to her tummy and sighed "I wish that he was like you Adem, their father I suppose he has taught me to be more paitent not so nieve."
Pausing for a moment the blue eyesd femme watched Adem and gave a small puurry laugh "Perhaps you can act as father to my cubs" She looked away embaressed that she had even asked such a thing. He was young and free and requesting such a thing of the sun spotted male was foosh and greedy of her."I'm sorry I should not have said that" she whispered her soft blue eyes turned to her paws. "you must have alot of ladies looking at you now I bet you even have a potential mate I shouldn't burden you with my problems" she stayed stareing away from him. Her mouth was running rampant at the moment. Hormones she could only place it down to hormones.

If felines could blush, the golden cheetah would be a bright red underneath his fur right about now. "I...I'm sure you'll find another...someone who will stay with you.." He said quietly, his gold gaze filtering towards the ground. It was a habit he picked up when things became a bit...awkward for him.
"Patience is virtue." Adem chuckled slightly, resting his head on Colche's shoulder.
But at her next comment, his ears perked forward, head rising. "I..I...fath...father?" He gonked slightly, gulping. He...He couldn't be. Well he could, but the way Sunspot thought about himself was just..not the same as he knew Colche saw him as. A nervous little cub watching more cubs? He'd probably be scared out of his wits! Gulping again, Adem sighed slightly. "No..You shouldn't feel sorry. I..I just...It's just..." He couldn't finish it. To come out and just say 'no' was to hard, but making an excuse was even harder.
"I...I don't have a potential mate...and you don't burden me with your 'problems'." They weren't problems to him, they were just questions of concerns really.
"...If you would like.." He said in defeat, not wanting to hurt the female. "I...can help with them for a bit after they are born?" Sure, it wasn't the true 'fatherfigure' role, but Adem was around Colche a lot for it to be close enough, right?

Colche looked up to the young male with a faint smile on her maw. She hadn't meant to say that outloud really.herr hormones were getting the betetr of her of late. Her ears drooped and she leaned over to groom the young males cheek "Thankyou Adem" she whispers her voice a gentle muurr of a thing. She was frightened and adem was willing to help her through these hard times. "I would appreciate any help Adem" she turned ehr blue eyed gaze ont he sunny coloured male and puurred gently the sound radiating from her chest.
"I..i don't mewan to burden you Adem if you..you don't feel you want to you don't have to..I'm afraid my tongue is in legue with my hormones at the moment and neither are very stable." She smiled at him in an embarressed manner. She truely didn't want to burden the young male he had a life of his own tying him down was selfish of her, but..But she did want his help really but only if he truely wanted to aid ehr with the life growing in her belly.
