This is the town just out side of the School gates and off the school grounds. The Towns name is Catshire. You go here for jobs...shoping for those shopping finatics...yeah... enjoy.

Alex got to the book store in town and walked in. She looked around and quickly and happily ran to the Fantasy section. She picked up a book and started reading. The owner walked silently and tapped Alex's shoulder.
"Do you need any help miss?" She asked. "I am Mrs. Burten...I own this shop" Alex smiled, she lifted the book in her hands.
"I found something thanks..." Alex said. Mrs.Burten smiled. "I love books...they always help me escape my hell like life...just being around them..." Alex said as she opened the book to read again.
"Oh, well we are hireing...do you want a job here?" Mrs.Burten asked. Alex looked up happily.
"Really? I would love a job here!" she said. Mrs.Burten held out her hand and shook Alex's.
"Well then welcome. When can you start?"
"How about after school?" she said. "School isn't over yet so..."
"Playing hooky?" Mrs. Burten asked with a slight grin.
"No," Alex fibbed "Just a study hall..."
"Good...well i'll see you tommorow after school! I really need help here! you are a life saver...what was your name?"
"Alex.."
"Alex, well see you. Enjoy the book" And Mrs. Burten walked off. Alex was feeling better already.

Takaho walked into the town, wearing his usual attire with his black longcoat. He walked down the road still flciking his flames on and off. He had a free period at the moment so he couldn't think of anything interesting to do. He didn't know where he would go, so he just continue don down the road aimlessly.

After buying a few books, Alex walked to a little chinese resterant and went to eat she ate while she read and got at least 5 chapters in before she started eating. She sat near the window as to watch the people walk by and to use the sun to read...the chinese resterant was pretty dark, so the sun was good. She wished her life was like the magic in the books she read, not like her magic filled life...filled with the on going terror and sorrow. She sighed and turned the page, gently rubbing her red burned legs with a wet napkin.

Takaho walked down the road, slowly reading his book not looking where he was going. The suddenly he was hit by something, turning round he saw Jackie-boy as the people at school called him, Jackie boy excelled in most of his subjects aswell as his power; to control the earth.
"Good morning Tak, lovely dya isn't it?" he said swirling round the three stones he had taken from the ground, swirling them around in the air.
"Get bent Jack" Takaho muttered
"Not very nice Tak" he said sending another rock at Takaho hitting on the head this time.
"Get away from me" he said putting his book away.
"make me!" he said throwing his third rock at Takaho.
"I said get away from me!" Takaho shouted conjuring a ball of fire and throwing it at Jackie-boy who jumped out of the way, Takaho didn't stop, he continued conjuring balls of fire and throwing them at Jackie-boy.

Alex was a little bit farther in her book when she saw a large ball of fire shoot past the window, her first reaction was that Mitch had followed her, she quickly put her books down and looked out side, to see two boys going at it in the streat right out side the resterant. She looked behind her at the owner of the shop "Please tell them to stop...they are hurting busness!" the old woman said as she watched her customers started leaving. Alex sighed. "I'll give your food for free to you?!" she said. Alex nodded
"Fine." and Alex wabbled out of the store, only to duck an on comming ball of fire that almost hit her it hit the glass, and a melt stain was perminatly in the window. Alex ran weakly to the boys. Throwing up a shield spell around both herself and the boys. "Guys please, save that for gym!" she called. She looked to the boy tossing the fire and shook her head. "I was burned enought today." she said looking down to her legs. "Please stop before you hurt innocent people."

Takaho looked around at the shield that had been put up around him and Jackie-boy.
"If you were burnt badly I am sorry, you didn't deserve to be burnt like that. But he.....he" he stopped talking and walked off burst through the shield, and walked off back to the school.

"Wait!" Alex shouted. but... the boy didn't hear her. she turned to the other boy and looked at him angrily. "Don't let me catch you starting fights again..." she said, she tried to sound angry, to look tough, and then she just went back to the chinsese place and ate and read her book hoping the other boy was ok. She didn't want any one else going through what she did.

Alex finnished reading and eating and looked at the clock, Chorus was over by now. She stood and walked back to the school grounds and stood in the halls.

Jodi teleported in the center of town and slowly walks up and down the main street of the town. Jodi looks inside the many stores, and little ice cream shops. Smiling to herself she keeps walking, and after a few steps. Jodi just jumps on the edge of the bench infront of her, and does a back flip. before she hits the ground, Jodi teleports away and teleports back in the street with not a scare. lots of people stare a Jodi as she walks away as if nothing happened with a smile on her face, and walks into one of the ice cream shops to get something to eat.

Jodi looked at her watch to see it was time to get back to class. eatting the last on her ice cream, Jodi got up and made sure she remember where she was going and teleported back to her dorm.

After a hard day of school, Nadeshiko decides to go out of the school grounds and into Catshire. She goes off to the public library and sees if there's a book that she might be interested in. Apparently, none. She leaves the library and walks off to buy herself a smoothie.
As she drank her smoothie (Strawberry banana mix), she was thinking of whether or not she could get a job around here. She will need it really. Then again, what can she do around here? Nadeshiko checked her watch and decided to go back to school. She gets up and left the smoothie bar and went back to school.

Alex had quickly run to the book store and entered almost out of Breath, Mrs.Burton looked at her in surprise.
"Dear? You arn't out of school already are you?" she asked as she came to her with a glass of water. "There was no need to rush."
"Im sorry. I just wanted to get to work quickly...i need something to do to get my mind off of things..." she said as she thought of the note in her pocket next to her room key. Mrs.Burton nodded.
"Very well, you go along to the basment and check the check list i created for you. And when you are done with that you can go and paint the left room in the basment." she said. She handed Alex a new water bottle. "Dont dehighdrate your self..take this....no more running ok?" She said as she led Alex to the stairs. "See you in a few." and she went back tot the main desk and casheir as Alex went down stairs.
When she was finnished with the list, which only took about two hours, Alex sat down and started reading a book about magic and romance... and she couldn't help but think why her life wasn't like these easy lives in the books she read. The had thought of it before...but it never quite hit her as hard as now. She put down the book when it started to get ronchy and picked up the white paint and the paint brushes and started to pain the room in the back. She had expored this whole store, exept for this back room, whose door was always locked and hidden behind a book shelf. She painted the walls and got three out of four of them done, till she stopped and looked at the box of books in the center...one book crossed her eyes and got her attention.
"What is that?" she saw the old leather binding and the gold triming and knew it was an old book...posibly from a centery ago, and it was in amazing condition! She put the paintbrush down and went to pick up the book...it seemed to pull her to it. She lifted the heavy book in her hands and turned it over in her arms a few times in shock at the title. She read it aloud. "The Spells Of the Only One Left" she opened the book to the preface and gasped at the opening letter. She read aloud quitly.
"Dear reader, if you are reading this, the book has called you. You are one of the only people in the world who could read this book, it is written in another language that only you could understand...and to some it would look like a blank journal. In these pages are spell that will help you destroy the demons that roam the earth, some are finding others like you to take their power and us it to their advantage. They will go for you...who no doubtedly are the astra...only the Astra and the Soarn could read this. The Soarn is the person who protects the two astras...if one of the astras die, the Soarn is summond to protect the remaining astra. The head demon would do anything to get the Soarn away from the Astra...wether to kill the Soarn or to send it away...it makes no differance...this book i have created is filled with spells the Soarn would learn and use to protect the astra, now the astra can protect herself...if the breaker has been killed." Alex stopped, this was to much....she couldn't handle it.
"Alex?" she heard from behind her. She turned to see Mrs. Burton looking at her worridly. "You found the book?"
"What?"
"Alex...I was the last astra..." Mrs. Burton said. She came over to Alex and placed a calming hand on her shoulder. " Me and my husband went to the same school as you did...when Mr.NightShade wasn't evil as he was...his father was Mr.Corneio...able to destroy things with light. I didn't think my niece would be the next astra..."
"What?" Alex was utterly confused.
"Alex, i am glad i found you...It is me Aunt Liz...Liz Burton. Your mother died trying to get you to me but you were sent to the orphanege of the Maticaso...i am sorry. Take the book and go...once you read the first page the demon leader will know i am still here...please go." she said as she started pushing Alex up the stair.
"Wait! You're my aunt?"
"Yes..."she said.."Now please go-" and she accidenly pushed Alex into a tall man who was standing back to them in the basment door way. Mrs.Burton looked up at the man caustiously. "Um..may i help you?" The man turned and Alex gasped and pushed past him.
"Hello my dear Liz...haven't seen you since graduation!" NightShade shouted. Mrs.Burton gasped.
"Alex get out!!! Hurry!"
"Getting it late is better then never at all!" Night shade shouted as he went for Liz. Alex ran back to the school, hearing only Liz's screams and NighShades laughes. She ran back to her dorm crying.

Takaho sat down outside his usual place of relaxation, the cafe opposite the book store, lighting a ciagrette with his finger he blew out some smoke and smiled, grasping his mug he took a long glug of his tea. Looking towards the school he wondered about her secrets. Tonight he would go into the school's main building and explore.

Jodi teleported to the center of town and walked to a little resturant. walking in Jodi ordered a fat free chicken salad, and a diet coke. after giving the guy behind the counter the five-dollar bill, he gave me my change.
putting everything in a plastic bag Jodi left and headed to the sushi bar across the street. walking in she ordered some mix sushi, soy sauce, and a cup of Lavander tea to go. After paying Jodi thanked the woman behind the counter.
Jodi left the building and looked around she saw Takaho, and waved at him and then teleported back to the cafe.
