Does anyone have a link to a site where is tells you what you can cook, what you need to cook the item, what level you need to cook the food item, and what the food item does? I have the stratgey book, but I'm pretty sure that there are more things you can cook...

And I was wondering if there's money in Alchemy. Do people really use the potions, elixrs, and other things? So far I haven't come across anyone who does, but I've only been playing for a month and I'm still in the low 20s. More people use the food than the alchemy items, which brings me to my next question... In your opinion what guild brings in the most money? Which the is cheapest to start off with? Which one do you like the most?

So, could anyone tell me how I get those wicked shades? xd All I know about them is that they're rare and can't be traded. And my sister said a monster drops them, but she wasn't sure.

Thanks lol. stressed I could have sworn I looked there, but I couldn't find it. Maybe I typed the address in wrong or something... It's working now, though.

About those potions, yah people do use them, for stuff like promies. They use eye drops and echo potions to save the mages mp, but im not sure if there is a lot of money too it. Actually, all the crafts make good money, but most of the money comes from high levels and HQing items.

GL on the shades im going for them too, they match MNK AF... smile

Goldsmithing - Black-tinted glasses
Clothcraft - Clear-lense glasses
Bonecraft - Orange-tinted glasses
Alchemy - Rare/EX club weapon Lv.1
Fishing - Boots
Smithing - Gloves
Leathercraft - Gloves
Cooking - Hat

Those are the GP items that require 70,000 GP to aquire along with Journeyman Rank to have them appear on the GP item list. You must also be Novice rank in a craft to start up a contract with a guild to earn GP and you can only have one contract up at one time with a craft. I don't think this applies to Fishing though since it's a different kind of craft compared to the others. All of the crafts have a 2nd GP armor that's an Apron along with a 3rd that's a furniture.

HQ = High-Quality such as items that have that white square around their icon on the item description and most have like a +1 next to their name.

GL = Good luck

AF = Artifact Armor which are lvl 50-60 armor along with a lvl40 or so weapon for a certain job and all are Rare/EX.

Those are the two sites I rely on the most for crafting and etc.

For the potions and etc., yes, they are used. There are at times certain activities that would require the use of the potions and ethers depending on the jobs. Especially for the people lvl 66-70 when they do their fight against Maat to break the final lvl cap in order to lvl up to 75. Potions and ethers and the other medicines are also used in Promyvions which are lvl 30 cap missions for CoP (Chains of Promathia). For the guild that brings in the most gil, well I'd have to say all of them would higher up in the crafting lvls. Cheapest to start off would be either Woodworking, Alchemy, or Cooking. The one I currently like the most is Goldsmithing due to the fact that I will be able to craft my own equipment that I will be needing in the future such as STR rings.

And as for the shades...That'd be above >.>

Gold smithing in truth is the place to make money. BUt expect to lose a lot of money early on. Takes a lot to raise but you have to think for the future.

Well actually, smithing can also pull in the gil along with leathercraft. If you get high enough and able to make a Haubergeon +1 and a Brynie +1, then you got the gil set >.> Same with an Amemit Mantle +1 from Leathercraft. It just really depends on the craft and what you can make and how much effort you put into it and how far.

On alexander a courage ring +1 is 80,000. Thats a lvl 14 ring. get high enough to make caourage rings easily and you are set. Normal sells for like 14,000 anyway.

True but with the pieces of equipment I mentioned...Let me just say a Haubergeon +1 is about 5.4 mil or so and a Byrine +1 is also the same price...Or possibly the Byrine is cheaper...I just haven't checked them in awhile >.> But for HQs, you are correct for the lower lvl recipes but it's usually the higher lvl recipes that bring in more gil per sale if you are able to obtain the ingredients at a nice price to make a profit off of.
