intro

okay, so.. i have this thread in the avatar editors guild i call 'neko's gallery of glam'. it's my museum thread where i showcase all my avatar edits. i also have a halfway-slapped-together unpublished website called 'the pixellation station' for displaying the dolling that i've done. instead of linking to them, i figured i'd make a thread here where i could display my favourites and spare you the horror of teh ickier ones. because i'm a kind, loving soul and all that. so this is it. and this was my intro. tah dah!! once i've finished slappint this thingy together, feel free to leave me your opinions and feedback on teh stuffs i've done. heart please remember, no bumps needed, as this is a sticky.

updates and stuff

latest thing: the powergirl i did for kyu a while back, and the shadowcat and troia i did for kitty pryde. i do comics-based dolls for 1/1.5k each, depending on the difficulty.. i still owe kyu starfire, i'm just not up to tackling orange skin at the moment. X.x

dolls

sadly, the only dolls i have are grainey converted-to-jpeg-in-paint degraded copies of the originals.. i save all my stuff in png format and tripod doesn't like png. crying so these are crappy versions of the stunning originals, which were lost when poppa had to wipe teh compy.
<-the first doll i did. not very good, but i needed something in between avatar size and regular doll size
<-one i did of me right after i dyed my hair black again. (that was back in january, i think) i actually own everything but the socks.. stare
<-omg. my absolute favourite. i spent six freaking hours on this doll amd the conversion totally killed it! the original was soo much prettier. *sobs* in case you don't know, it's cassandra cain, the new batgirl, but without her mask cause it kept turning out all wrong. i'll do another batgirl edit someday, but damn i loved this one.
<-teh neko ..normally i'd slap a signature on it, but who's gonna steal a self portrait? whee

the only other one i've done is in my sig, so i won't post it here unless i decide i want a different sig. it's not grainey cause it went straight to phorobucket upon completion and was later converted to honest-to-goodness gif in fireworks for that transparent bg. it's me and umi. creative liberties taken clothing-wise, cause i felt like it. heart any and all future dolls will likeley be done in fireworks, as it's soo much prettier than paint.

whee You must know I'm a fan! And it's always nice to see a doll of yourself in your best friend's gallery! heart I love all the work you've done, but I must say I'm quite fond of the recently made self portrait. I think it is the size I'm so fond of. Do you think you'll ever animate any of your creations? They're cute enough without it, I was just wondering.

BTW- The heads tails edit is AMAZING! I wouldn't have the patience or the faintest idea how to do that eek I can see why you wouldn't want to try it again, tedious and such.

Edit: I forgot to say that I'm sorry the originals got killed. You must have been so frustrated *consoles* But I can't believe I forgot about Batgirl! She's, and I know this isn't a good critique, AWESOME!!!! XD

awesome is good, i'll take awesome. whee i started animating a different self-portrait done on this base, but i never finished it, so it was lost in the mass doll genocide. so no animations to date. i'm glad you still like teh heads n tails all these months later, cause i still feel exhausted every time i look at it. xd whoot! my first fan! i'm glad you like the portrait too! whee there was a base. sorry i forgot the credit. that's a huge dolling no-no, but i'll blame it on the middle-of-the-night posting. base (c)eden enchanted. flowers and leaves from elsewhere. i can't recall exactly. wow! plural fans! i should make a list! xd *dies*

yeah, i still have it, but technichally to use it you're supposed to be an ee member.. X.x;; umm.. i guess i could accidentally leave the link to the page i got it from.. not my problem if someone wanders by and likes it then.. ninja though if you just join ee and (or) go to this page, you can find quite a few different kinds of portrait bases.. some male ones too. if you have to log in, you could log in as me.. teh name's nekokoi, and if you don't know teh password then i'm ashamed to call you my sister. xd
