Hey everyone!
I want to avoid mix-ups and confusions of concepts, so I'm opening up this thread for everyone to share very briefly the powers or affiliations [ie. fire, death, souls, etc.] that your Legend possesses. This will also help greatly in determining future quests and metaplot contributions. These powers include those that have not yet developed, as well.
Please try and avoid giving away future plot lines as much as possible without withholding important information. [Example: Not telling us that your Legend is psychic and suddenly in roleplay they can read thoughts? Not a good idea.]

Dare is a Time Ranger, giving him the affiliation over time and souls [limited]. Most of his affiliation with time deals with the past or present and not with the future. His powers include teleportation, the ability to access any and all memories of all pasts, the ability to slow and even stop time [though he will be VERY hesitant to do this], and very limited miscellaneous magical abilities. He also does not age beyond his twenties, as is a trait held by all Rangers.
One of the consequences of being a Ranger is that they cannot have emotional attachments. Because of their immortality, they are not to get involved with those who will shortly die. They are also supposed to remain impartial and neutral as far as emotions go. As seen in Dare's prior experiences, upon emotional stresses [experiencing extreme emotions, such as rage or distress or overjoy] causes a stress on a Ranger's body. Depending on the circumstances, ie. the range of emotion felt, the side effects of this include regression in age [a lesser of two evils] or an eventual death by the leaking of colours. [Basically, he would go rigid and unresponsive, and all colours bleed out of him. When colourless, he will die.] For obvious reasons, extreme emotional imbalances must be avoided at all costs.

Ink is a natural born assassin. [Will be explained once plots arise accordingly.] He has heightened senses, especially vision and hearing, and his physical condition will prove extraordinary. He will possess remarkable agility and a quick wit. His concept deals with soul splitting- namely, he and Suds are two parts of one whole - and because of this reason, Ink and Suds are immortal. If they do not die instantaneously at the same time and by the same cause, they will merely reappear elsewhere, unharmed.

Demare is an angel/demon "halfling", and while his Legend itself deals heavily upon souls, he himself is affiliated with shadows/darkness and light/holy when it comes to power. The two souls each have their own "realm" of sorts, only accessible by each other save for if they ever want to bring someone else there. The realms are slightly different in two cases; in case one, when they are entering into their subconscious to physically see the other soul, they can only enter and exit the realm through their entryways. In case two, they can enter from anywhere that their "element" touches, but they are still as one in the body as they move through the darkness/light for a "teleportation" affect.
Demian has the ability to control and manipulate shadows. He can create something called "black fire", which is pretty much just shadows concentrated into a ball (which gives off the appearance of "black" fire), and instead of feeling hot it is extremely cold. [While it doesn't do much for damage, he seems to think it looks cool. Though, I would imagine the affect it would have on someone would be like a freezer burn.] He also has the ability to swallow light, like a black hole affect. [I can't say how far out this can reach quite yet, but currently he's able to cover an entire three story, large house in darkness.] The demon has minor restorative powers, but he's only able to heal himself; he can heal most injuries [not fatal wounds or disconnected limbs] including bones, but it's a very slow process and it leaves scars. Demian also can create creatures he calls "shadow beasts", which are monsters created in his realm that are animated by his will. When in the real world, they are solidified and very dangerous, and he is the only person who can control them.
Clare, on the other hand, has many opposite affects from the demon. He can create orbs of light, large or small, and is able to light up any dark place. It's hard to say how much the light can be intensified quite yet, but the light can shed up to about 60 feet. [As he gets even older, he'll have more control over that, and it can induce blindness.] The angel has the ability to heal himself and others, and as of right now he can only heal gashes, bruises, and (with effort) small bone fractures. [As he gets older, this ability will grow. With time, he'll be able to heal completely, being part of his Holy power rather than "magic".] Clare also has the ability to tap into some of Demian's powers, able to manipulate them to a certain degree. [He can "teleport" using shadows, as well as manipulate the darkness (limited), but he can't control the shadow beasts.)
As a whole, Demare can fly, but it hurts him quite a bit due to his right wing being broken. (Any of you thinking "Then why doesn't Clare fix it?" HE CAN'T! 8D He can't fix anything the body was "born" with, as the broken bat wing is something natural to this form.) Even should his wings grow larger, it would still be difficult for him... but he doesn't like to fly much, anyway. He's naturally very strong (mostly due to his demonic side), and will pretty much always be THE strongest (or very close to) among the Legends. The two sides of the body also have the ability to "transform" themselves into Demian and Clare's true forms, but can only be done so together and when the seals scarred on the child's arms are broken. [This can be done in two ways: Clare's seal can ONLY be broken by an angelic or Holy relic, or the seal is reversed (whether by another seal or a sutra of some sort); Demian's seal can be broken by just about anything slicing through the markings, or by reversing the seal (same as with Clare's).] (Demian's demon form is a bit difficult to describe, and I will add that in as soon as I can figure out a good way to describe it. Clare, on the other hand... His hair turns blonde and his white eye becomes a pale blue. His wing grows much larger, and three more white feathered wings sprout from his back. His flesh carries a natural glow somehow, signifying his holy trait.)
Unless someone is in their subconscious with them, Clare and Demian can only speak with each other when one of them is in the body. (To make more sense out of that, if Clare is in the body, only Clare can speak with Demian. No one else can hear him speak unless the voice manages to leak through the body, and ONLY then.) [I'm sorry to those who can read minds. Your Legend can't hear them speaking to each other because it's simply not in his mind. @____@ If the one in the body is thinking (which I do my best to make very clear what is thought and what is speech), then you can.] This is more humorous than it is useful, and often it seems like Demare's in a daze when the two are talking back and forth at each other, and his expressions can be fun to watch at times. To clarify, this is NOT telepathy. He can't talk to anyone else using his mind; just to himself. (Wow, maybe he's crazier than we all thought.) Although, this will be changing... fairly soon... but I'll edit that once the time comes.
Okay, I feel like I'm forgetting something important, but... I don't wanna be murdered for not making this brief. biggrin ;;;; WTFWHYCAN'TIEVERMAKEANYTHINGSHORT?! crying

Mikhael has a muse's Inspiration, and because it's overpowerful (augmented because his human Talent is to use the Inspiration), it can be used one of two ways:
Firstly, he can use it on anyone, to well, inspire them. This works best on whatever they're best at, what they desire to be best at, or, sometimes (particularly with less creative types) to work towards whatever their greatest desire is. For example, if Mikhael was to Inspire Lafe, his psychic powers would probably increase dramatically. If Levi's greatest desire was to catch girls, since one of his Talents is charm, that'd probably go up several notches. It's all affected, as well, by people's adrenaline, Mikhael's adrenaline, and Mikhael's bond with the human.
Which leads to the second point. If Mikhael hates someone, it'll usually work accordingly. The Inspiration is a part of him, and if he hates something, it usually picks up on those vibes. It's likely to go a big aggro. The person may be driven bat-s**t crazy. The Inspiration uses itself as a weapon, making them so inspired and so driven that it's unbearable to do anything else. This can cause madness and possibly death, especially in non-creative types or those who search for logic. Creative types will probably just get so involved in whatever the Talent dictates that they'll forget about the rest of their activites for some time.
The scope and effect of Mikhael's powers increases with age, and it is LESS effective, but still effective on non-humans, but anyone with any shred of human blood in them is fully affected.

Chandra has power over the Dead. I consider this to result in the following abilities:
+ Power: She can see/sense/communicate with souls. - Restrictions/Explanation: -The more recently or violently they died, the easier they are to sense. -They can be hidden from her by putting them into inanimate objects. -With the aid of an external tool, the Flute, she can attempt to influence/control souls. This depends on her will being greater than theirs and can easily backfire. - If she concentrates very hard she can see living souls, but she can't do anything to them. At all. - With a great deal of effort and an external aid, she has sent souls back to the Land of the Dead that had "escaped". I have decided not to have her do this again.
+ Power: She can travel into the Land of the Dead. - Restrictions/Explanation: -I consider the Land of the Dead to be separated from the Land of the Living by a sort of semi-permeable membrane. Normally souls travel from the Living to the Dead and not back again. The more travelling in either direction that occurs at a particular location, the easier subsequent transitions are. -Travelling to the Land of the Dead results in time dilation where the further she travels, the more time passes in the Land of the Living and the tougher it is to return. -Her body in the Land of the Living is left uninhabited and unprotected while she travels in the Land of the Dead.
+ Power: Raising the Dead. - Restrictions/Explanation: -This is very complicated and not something she will do often. -Bringing souls back from the Land of the Dead requires a physical anchor in the Land of the Living which can contain them. Anchors can be magical inanimate objects (a la something along the lines of the stones used in the Shadow Fiends shop) or a body. Bodies are easier to use, but tougher to obtain/prepare. -None of this is permanent. Bodies degrade faster when the soul is artificially attached, so the best Chandra can do is temporarily bring someone back. -General Restriction: -Chandra's own body is a product of necromancy on her part and every time she uses her magic, it rots a little more. She can't heal any injuries done to it in the Land of the Living and it will fall apart, forcing her to expend lots of energy to make a new one.
+ Note: Chandra gets colder when she is using necromancy and I used this in the writing competition RPs to have her freeze things. I don't plan to have her ever be able to control it to that extent IC-ly in case anyone was concerned.
[ I think that is it, but I reserve the right to add in anything I have previously had her do if I find that sort of thing. I won't add anything new though, I don't believe. ]

Alejandro is a vampire. This means he requires blood to live and can not go out into sunlight. Things like crosses/holy water don't really affect him. As such he has the usual enhanced speed/senses/strength/healing. He will also, in the future, be completely dead. He really won't be able to die unless he wills it so. He will have (in time) 4 additional 'signature' abilities.
First is telepathy. He can read thoughts, control minds, and influence people. Those with some sort of mental power are more difficult to control and he uses it more to read moods or thoughts than to control anyone.
Second is flight. It's also a mental sort of power but manifests in flight. He can bring other people with him but they will suffer any lack of air, high speed, etc that he does. That means a normal human couldn't fly at high speeds with him without getting hurt.
Third is shifting. He will be able to shift into an animal form and one animal only.
Fourth is Pyrokinesis. He will not gain this for a looooooooooooong time and has to do with his origin story. It is pretty powerful but he's not likely to use it much.

(( This is not very much fleshed out yet, but only contains the main abilities ))
Neva has been given three main powers.
~ She's able to turn into a deer. Not willingly at the beginning and at first she's not able to control it, but later on she will learn to shift between these two figures. In this stage she's also able to talk to animals.
~ Neva is able to shatter glass by willpower and also melt it together again. She's able to make it liquid and can 'freeze' it again. The harder the glass the more difficult it is for her.
~ Her third ability is justice. Neva is able to find out at once if something is right or wrong and to tell what is fair or not. She can sense if somebody is lying or doing something wrong.

Loki is an exorcist, or rather, one who banishes ghosts into items, or back to where they came from. (Also, in the future, I wanted him to have the ability to affix spirits to different things himself, such as human bodies.) He exorcises spirits into his lantern, and with each exorcism, a scar appears on his arm. Currently, his left arm is covered with them, and thanks to a strange occurrance, it now holds a lava-lamplike glow, and the scars have turned white. (He tries to keep a wrap around it at all times, so as to not draw attention - he's already weird enough. >_>) He also has the innate ability to control fire, and those associated with fire (spirits only). His memories are a jumble, and he cares about his dead sister, Lola, but as of recent has gotten sidetracked from finding her.
Plans for him included him 'becoming a god', but this does not mean he gains ultimate power as one would think. The nordic gods of history were all mortal, and each had a unique ability, though some crossing over to blend with others. Such as all of the Legends, in a sense. So, if Loki were to realize that yes, he was a former god, nothing would change in his powers. The only thing that would change would be his ability to 'con' (would improve), as he was widely known as a celestial con man (and slept with a lot of women >_>), tricking even his closest family members. The question is whether the gods will punish him now, or leave him be, after killing one of their own.
( Also, note - Loki was also known to shift shapes, using it in his tricking, but could only shift into animals. I'm not going to use this because it could border on moding, but it's a possibility to keep open in case jacknblack wants Loki to have it. n_n; )
Lue is Loki's personal fire spirit, and only Lue remembers the eating contest he had with the trickster, though it did end in a stalemate. He was happy being a plain fire spirit, but since a bit of exorcism went wrong (Loki exorcised the wrong spirit), Lue is now stuck in a red lizard's body, and can allow fire to dance along his skin, as well as puff out a small bit of it, like a dragon. He can change size, but it requires a lot of stamina, and if he uses too much, he can't change size again or use his ability (fire) for a long while, having to rest the body he's in. He only stays loyal to Loki, refusing to show respect for anyone else, as Loki's the only one that formerly proved himself.

Nasmir is a Jinni, a personal species that I have created which is based off Islamic myths of 'Genies'. They are elemental creatures of the four elements, earth, wind, water and fire.
Nasmir is bonded to earth type magic and has capabilites to do with earth magic, including growing plants, saving them from sickness, and having two other forms to do with earth.
The rest of his concept is up in his journal, but it all has to do with the Jin, though another elemental would probably be stepping on some toes.

Alun is... a bit complicated, so I don't know how well I could explain his concept in one sitting, especially since I'm trying to keep it under wraps and have you guys figure out what's going on. (Suffer! Bwahaha 8D). His powers are pretty limited though, so I can probably detail those decently.
Alun has the ability to sort of toy around with physics and alter the effect of gravity and things on people, making them capable of floating. An example are his planets: he's in constant control of them even though he's not aware of it. Eventually his power will develop to the point where he can make himself and others float, but I highly doubt they'll be over to go over ten feet. Consider it a sort of bastardized form of telekinesis.
Alun also possesses easily one of the best minds among the Legends - no offense folks - and seems almost freakishly wise about things. While he has no skill for telepathy, he's very good at putting things together quickly and efficiently and figuring people out. It's not telepathy, but he does things quick enough and comes to understand people well enough that it might seem to verge on it at times. And that's about it as far as outstanding abilities go. You guys all know about his skin, and how it's extremely difficult to hurt Alun because anything you poke him with will go right through him, and he can regenerate limbs. Because of the fact that Alun seems to lack anything resembling a normal nervous system he doesn't really feel things either, including pain. Water, however, dissolves him on contact - the more distilled the water is, the better.
Alun's overall concept, briefly put, involves the prime mover. However, there are different kinds of prime movers, and while on a more shallow level he might seem to only represent the prime mover seen in early astronomy, keep in mind that he encompasses the concept of the prime mover in its entirety. If you would like to figure out what that means exactly, I recommend doing some research, as it's pretty damn neat. Aaaand I think that's all I can give away for the time being biggrin .

Paestri deals with Intangibles, and in order to explain what her powers are exactly I'll have to explain what I define as an "Intangible." Intangibles are those concepts we have like Bravery, Anger, Hatred, Love, Memories, Hope, Desire, Agony, the abstract stuff we feel, experience, or have but cannot physically touch them. All Emotions are Intangibles, but not all Intangibles are Emotions. Knowledge is not an emotion but it is an Intangible. There are too many Intangibles to mention and in the event that a fellow Legend has control over a specific Intangible, Paestri loses to him/her :3
Spirits, though intangible in their own sense, do not belong to Paestri's Intangible. So no elementals or ghosts XD some Intangible can appear to resemble elementals or spirits but they aren't biggrin
That said, Paestri's abilities heavily involve Intangibles. She is capable of banishing/summoning them from an individual, either causing them to experience any said Intangible. She is also capable of giving these Intangibles a visible and independent form (i.e. Malady). However, she normally uses her abilities to turn these Intangibles into ingredients for her special dishes. Whoever eats these special dishes end up experiencing the main Intangible it was baked with. Although there are nasty side-effects if any of the three conditions are not met XD
Naturally when Pae offers a fellow Legend something made from an Intangible, I do leave it to the Legend's creator to decide whether or not the dish will affect him or her and up to what extent :3 To do otherwise would be god-moding XD

Miraj is a fae creature that has basically been turned into a monster for wrong doings in her past. Her general abilities deal with chaos and madness as it is what has been inflicted upon her by the Seelie Courts as punishment and what she inflicts upon others around her. Her control over how her abilities effect others is very limited as her form is chaotic. She likely won't have any sort of control whatsoever until she's a teenager, and even then it will be an uphill struggle as she is meant to suffer for it to atone for her sins, so to speak.
Specifically what the "chaos/madness" abilities entail: Voice. Her monster form is loosely based off of a harpy/siren, and as such the sound of her voice when raised in a scream or when she sings, will drive men insane. The sound will just annoy the crap out of women and will likely simply induce a severe headache rather than full blown insanity. This particular ability will not come into play until she's a teen, as her mother is going to silence her voice entirely when she's a toddler/child with a spell until she's old enough to know better than to scream at random as most children do. Inflicting Chaos. It's not so much as she points and is all, "YOU! CHAOS." is that the people that are around her will generally be more 'accident' prone when she's nearby. This isn't really so much a magical sort of thing that is inflicted upon someone via a spell or curse as it is a feeling that overcomes Mira and forces her to act in a manner that would cause the aforementioned accident in a subtle way that would look entirely unintentional. Because this is rather complicated, it's not really something another Legend would have to worry about unless they inquired about it and plotted with me over something happening. This is mostly going to happen to Mira's mother and to her classmates when she's old enough to be sent to school. Glamour. Miraj is meant to be rather unattractive physically, and will truly look like a monster. Her beauty, which is fake and glamour induced, is skin deep, as she is as ugly on the inside as she truly is on the outside. It's just another something she has to overcome, but ability wise she's very good at casting glamours, particularly upon herself. This is also something that really won't come into play until she's much older and her mother will actually teach her to cast the spell nessecary for a glamour. True Form. It's not so much she can shift forms and stuff as without a glamour she really is a monster. How she appears will be mostly up to the artist that draws her. In my mind this involves claws and sharp, sharp teeth, scales, and feathered hair, but erm.. yeah. She's just an ickle little monster. It doesn't really lend her anything other than a bit of scariness and a little extra strength, but nothing super!human. If anything she'd be rather intimidating to look at? Fae Traits. There is a chance that Miraj, if she completes her quest, can return to her original form as a fae in which she would regain her beauty and that sort of stuff. However, that's about all she'd get back. That and immortality, but not true immortality. Meaning, if someone killed her, she'd die, but if she doesn't befall any sort of mortal harm she'll just continue living. Although, if she doesn't complete her quest she'll simply die a mortal's death and then have to start ALL over again. We'll wait and see what happens, hm? Other. And I think that's it. There wouldn't be that much else to add, anyway. She might gain some minor magic skills with spell casting since her mum is a magic-user, but it wouldn't be anything outlandish, and if she did dabble in something she shouldn't magic-wise her mum would ground her for LIFE and she'd likely be punished by the powers that be, etc, etc.
Also, I'd ask before inflicting Mira's abilities upon anyone. I'm kind of a hard a** when it comes to s**t like that, because I know how I'd feel if anyone attempted to mess with my characters without my permission, and needless to say, I would not be happy. At all. So no worries. X3

Breena is a spirit of change. Due to her connection to the west wind, her very being is given over to the changing spirit, and her presence in another's life will often lead them over the precipice of a new era in their lives. Over this she has no control, and often no knowledge.
Her controlled power is her sorcery, that which she is learning from Wiralu. This is illusion-based, and as such she can mask physical truths, such as the ability to turn her grey crystals another colour in the eyes of the world, though in truth it is unchanged underneath.
This, in later life, will stretch as far as illusionary control over things such as living beings, being able to change the colour of her hair, eyes, skin, etc. In very, very rare and trying situations, she would be able to for a very limited time adopt the physical guise of another. This power would only be at the point of her having finished her studies, in adulthood.
Jenivive has powers over wave phenomenon, the greater of which are music-related. On the minor end, she can create small ripples in a body of water, adjusting the flow of the water to do such. On the larger end, via the musical end of her powers, she could create waves in a still body of water, large enough to push another over.
And uh... she's a good singer? xD
