When I joined the guild, I had no idea there were a lot of writers too, besides romance novel readers xd So if you do write, when was the first time you started writing and what made you get into it?

I've written ever since I was old enough too write. (My mom still has my crappy illustrated stories about ponies too.)
But when I got seriously into it? I've always wanted to publish a book, but I thought I sucked until I started writing romance. (And now those first stories suck.) That was around January of 2004 when I was moody, bored, and my internet was broken.
Ever since then, I just loved to write, preferably, romance. And here I am today, getting high off the feel of finishing a new chapter of Microsoft Word.

I use to write really bad, angsty poety when I was in grade school. But I got out of that when I started going to high school (that I wasn't still a ball of angst or anything, I was just busy with theater).
Then my freshman year of college, I started writing fanfiction. Mostly Inuyasha and it was horrible, but I look at it as a step in my growth as a writer. It helped me develope a style of my own and mature a bit. I stopped writing at all for a year or so (for personal reasons), but then I started writing original pieces. Some of them never panned out, but in the last year or so, I've started liking what I write again (which is one of my major obsticles) and seriously considering getting published one day.

About the time I started reading capitan fanfiction over here's works. My first storys were horrible, I was still trying to figure this thing some called "punctuation" out. Now im working on my best one yet! w00t!

I actually started in 8th grade but then stopped as I had to study for school and all. But then last year (my senior year) I looked back at what I'd written and almost threw up. I haven't thrown it away yet though. It's so long that I don't feel like throwing it out. But I've started writing. I finished a story and I'm on my second one. I have stuff on fictionpress too. On other forums, I'm known as the Grammar Nazi and that's usually what I pick on when I read peoples' works.

you want to here something funny? kitsune kept telling me about this new book she was looking forward to from some author named elizabeth something-or-other and she said it was coming out in "april." take a wild guess what i got to read? a newly printed book, straight off of microsoft word, chalked full with mistakes, but a fantastic story from one captain fanfiction. rofl rofl
i fell for it, she could have just told me she was writing a book and she wanted me to read it!!!!

You actually remember that? I didn't tell you about it because then I wasn't sure if I would actually finish it or not. And if I didn't finish it, I didn't want you to be disappointed and/or scream at me until I finished it. Actually, the first copy was WORSE than crap fanfiction. I can't even think about it anymore without shuddering. It's WAY better now. (Don't you remember? I said it was from "Elizabeth Darcy" because that was before you read Pride and Prejudice)

The Kitsune Hanyou You never saw the Jaken/Sesshoumaru fics...I don't think my eyes have EVER recovered... -chokesonair- > __O I never ran across those. But I was uberly picky about the fics I read.

The Kitsune Hanyou I never meant to read that either...it was some random yaoi in an Inuyasha/Kagome story...but *shudders* I think the nightmares I got afterwards were worse than the acutal story. I hate that. They need to advertise that crap. "WARNING: Beastiality" I think the worst one I ever read was this thing on aff.net where Inuyasha got turned into a dog or something and he had sex with Kagome. AS A DOG. I was like "OMG MY EYES!"
