Welcome to the Living In subform. Jun Hawthorne just flew in from London, England. He now resides in a four bedroom condo in Toyko, Japan. Why was he there? Well, since his parents' passing, Jun thought about the times when his mother used to talk endlessly about how she missed Japan. (His mother was Japanese originated) His father on the other hand, was a very successful man in London, and he couldn't leave his business, and his mother understood. As a child Jun dreamed about going to Japan, seeing things that his mother remembered so dearly. (As you could obviously tell that that him and his mother were quite close) Inheriting 50% of his father's fortune, Jun decided to get out of London.
Alas, here he was, stading in an empty condo, with his hands in his pockets. "So it begins."
---------
Jun had expected his new life to be smooth sailing, but unfortunately the englishmen was on the contrary, quite wrong. 'In Toyko anything could happen' his mother used to say when she was stuck in her constant reveries of life in Japan. Who would have thought that Jun's mother was on the dot. Anything could happen in Toyko. Good things and bad things, Jun had learned the hard way. Within the year, he settled in nicely, met new people (his roommates and neighbors), a colorful bunch as a matter of fact.
Setting: What the condo looks like: Four single bedrooms on the right side, only two bathrooms. A fair sized kitchen, and right next to it was the mini bar, turned into mini cafe, where they put all their coffee/esspresso things on, along with the tea spoons, and sugar, and creme. There's also a pot for tea, and a small variety of tea. (There's still liquor at the bottom) On the left side would be a small dining room, and a sliding door leading outside onto the balcony.
The condo didn't have the greatest view, but you couldn't see too much traffic, they were on the 23rd floor. But the balcony was good for the smokers, they didn't have any ashtrays yet, so you could throw them all off the balcony.
The condo had a couple of plants here and there, to make it look more natural. Okay, the place needed a little style, it looked too conservative.

Also, if you ask to join the RP, then it is clear that you didn't read the rules. Thus, you are ignored. 3. No chatspeak 4. OOCs can't seem to help itself from happening, so I'll allow it. 5. Stretch my page and you die.. 6. Keep your quotes down to ONE. 7. I will not tolerate flaming, or any other disrespect to any RPer. 8. Fights keep things interesting, but I won't allow killing, it's too hard to find a replacement character okay? 9. My word is law, I could be rather fair. So if I want to change any rules or add any.. I can. But remember, I only do that if I think it's absoloutely needed. 10. You may have more than one character. 11. I know no one is the greatest speller in the world, but as long as we get the general idea, then that's cool with me. 12. If you're going to be absent for longer than a week, then please tell me so. I don't like/want to delete anyone's characters. I, myself have a life too. So I won't be online ALL the time. But I shall assign someone to fill in for me. I just have to pick who. 13. You could be a female playing a male. That's fine. You could also play a female, just not as the main characters... You could be like a neighbor or something, just make her damn interesting. 14. If I do not approve of your character, please don't nag me about it. There's always a reason why I don't accept it.

The room was pitch black, darkness coating the furniture, floors, and walls like an unwanted virus. It teased and taunted relentlessly to those who did not enjoy its pleasure, but was safe and secure for those who pined for it as though it were their first, long-lost love.
To Kenji Lan, it was home.
Completely black velvet blankets had been nailed over the windows as cheap, but effective and permanent curtains to block out the intruding light. The walls had been painted black, along with the ceiling, and the floor was coated with a black carpet. The bed was made with black sheets, black comforters and pillows. The dressers were black. The computer was black, the desk was black, the phone was black; yet, it was only this way in this room.
This was his sanctuary.
Lan tapped away his time at his computer, his eye-glasses resting on the bridge of his nose and the glare from his computer screen reflecting off the glass lenses. His hair was perfectly kept and pulled back into a small, but effective tail to keep the hair from his eyes. He was dressed in the same suit he had worn to work that day; he'd come up with so many ideas for his new novel that, as soon as he'd gotten home, he'd jumped onto his computer and began writing them. Without bothering to change.
Ah, this was life. Darkness. Solitude. Writing. Always writing.

Reace watched Kou and Jun argue, as well as Kyohei who had went to change. He had managed to stay in the corner and use his long black locks of hair to hide his face. He wasn't made at Jun really...though he could of taken the matter a bit better, but still this wouldn't of happend if Kou hadn't taken his money without asking first. When Kyohei had returned he moved a bit closer to him as if to hide himself out of view with the help of Kyohei's...."robes?" he looked to them and being from Kyoto he knew what they were. But this was the first time he ever seen them on Kyohei...they were beautifull. Finger's lightly brushed against one of his sleeves but very softly as if afraid to damage the material.

Jun shook his head with immese irritation. He took another rather long drag of his cigarette before he spoke in softer tones. "I don't like people stealing from me... No matter who they are." He still has some compassion in him it seemed and he diligently ignored Kou's comment about what him and Rease were doing that morning, he went over and embraced the scowling male. "My apologies for my scolding, it's been a long morning." Jun sighed and pulled back to look at the neko boy's face, "Just, if you want something... Don't just take it, it's horrid manners and I won't put up with it."
His cigarette still burning he stepped sat on the couch, using his teacup as an ashtray. Slender finger pinched the bridge of his nose at the upcoming headache that seemed to be catching on.

Reace smiled then when hearing Jun, he seemed to have calmed down a bit that was good. Slowly he moved from Kyohei though looked to Kou "Those girls deserved it, and I'll make sure they won't get within a radius of this place to bother us anymore" Reace was serious, he never wanted them to go through what they had to, to get away from those crazy students of Jun's. It also told Kou that Jun wasn't the one that got the girls arressted. His eye's went to Jun and spotted the headache but mostly spotted the cig flicking ashes into the tea cup. Those copper eye's widened as he then found himself moving fast and putting an ashtray under Jun's cig as his other hand picked up the cup. Giving a light smile, "I'll get something for you Jun" he walked off to his room where his herbs where and started to look for one to cure that headache.

Jun hardly noticed Rease rushing to put an ashtray in place of the tea cup. His eyes shut tightly over the slight pain that was pounding in his temple that seemed to originate from his sinuses... "Arghh..."Was a he managed to say as he put his slowly burning cigarette down over the ashtray. His now black dyed head into his pale hands as he tried to figure what he was going to do. "I need a break... A vacation... Something."

Reace found one of his viles and smiled "Ahh there you are." His room had dark green soft carpet with matching walls. The bed in his room was a queen size that had black velvet sheet's though with silk one's underneath and large pillows at the top of it. There was a closet for his clothes and belonging's, seeing as the rest of his room was decorated with plants, tables, and a large desks with herb and flower care books along with his photo albulm.
Walking out of his room and closing the door before heading to the kitchen. There he started to well make more tea but not the honey type he usually made. Taking out the ginger root and a sharp knife he sliced it into thin slices before letting it mix with the hot water to make the tea, along with adding a dab of honey so that the ginger wasn't too strong.
When it was done he came back to Jun and handed the tea to him "Drink this it will relax your headache, believe me it works better then a cigarette..and a vacation for you would be good to get some stress off."

Jun eyed the tea critically, "Cigarettes usually do the trick..." he muttered as he graciously accepted the tea. He brought it to his lip as he took a taste, and his face winced a bit, "A bit hot... But it tastes a little funny."
He thought to himself for a while as he set down the tea cup, his headache dissolving. "Say Rease, what do you say we round up the boys and take a vacation? God knows we all need it so. Especially you, you workaholic."

"I'm not a work aholic, I just....prefer to keep myself busy" he gave a nod and looked to him. Reace could of laughed at that face but he just simply smiled. "Sorry, it's ginger tea, the ginger root has been researched to be able to relax blood vessels in the brain and so dismissing any swelling that would cause pain. I added a bit of honey to off set what it would of truely tasted like." Smiling he sat down and tilted his head "All of us? Hmm..well where would we go for our vacation?"

Jun grinned, going back into his old self again. "You don't keep yourself busy, you are busy." He sighed, picking up his cigarette again, "At this rate, we're all going to over exert ourselves if we haven't all ready..." Then an idea struck, "I know! Why don't we all go to the lake house in Kyoto?" "or,"he pondered, "A hot spring??" he looked over to Rease with shining green eyes, "Do you have any ideas Rease?"
((I'm going to head off to bed, dear. ))

((KK hun sleep well))
He shook his head , if doing those two simple jobs were what kept him busy in Jun's eye's he was a bit wrong. They were easy at least to Reace, thankfully no one came to his work places. He took Jun's cig and smiled as he placed it between his lips and took a drag before hearing that Jun wanted to go to Kyoto he coughed up suddenly on the smoke and handed the cig back. Brushing his hands to his throat as he coughed he forced himself to stand his hand started to pat his chest to get the smoke out.

Lan pursed his lips as the movements of his fingers over the keyboard ceased. s**t...his mind had gone completely blank of all those precious ideas before he'd had time to write every single one down onto his hard drive. Cursing, he saved what he had and shut down the computer.
He looked at the clock. Eyes widened a bit as he slid off those eye glasses he didn't really need; he'd been writing for fair amount of time.
8 hours, give or take.
He stood and moved to that dark, endless dresser of his and stripped off his suit he wore when teaching and changed into a simple white tank top and black shorts. He folded his suit and set it back in the top door, then shut it.
Lan yawned tiredly, but did not head over to his oh-so-inviting bed. Instead, he headed out onto the front porch of the condo and then down the stairs. He winced.
Damn the light sometimes.

Kou rested silently on the bathroom floor. He didnt feel that great and for some odd reason it made him think of his home..his sister...how she would yell for stealing her money. "Teh..." staring softly at the door before getting up. Stumbling out of the bathroom he moved to his room and changed in his silky pajamas, went back to the bathroom to freshen up and brush his teeth so the smell of sake of vomit wasnt lingering around him. Coming out he went to his room again with 350$ dollars...it was his only money but atleast he was attmepting to pay him back...normally he wouldnt even give a dollar but Jun, Reace and Taku were all he had in this big city. Suddenly hugging Jun he sniffled a little, bad memories brought up then hugged Reace but for a longer time. Nuzzling the others chest he purred at his lovely scent...it always felt nice to hug Reace "Heh...Nyah!" Smiling up at the two of them, he staggered out into the balcony and rubbed his loves back "Lets washhhh you up okiesh?" he slurred still kind of drunk and feeling icky but he was a model, he was suppose to put on a mask, a face when he was feeling down and sick. "Some nice cool water will help"

Akira had gotten so absorbed into his work, he had already translated four more chapters. By the time he realized what he was doing, he was right in the middle of chapter six. Deciding to finish that off, he finally closed the book and rubbed his eyes. Immediately, he ordered a coffee.
Leaning back in the steel chair that hurt his backside and back, he stretched out a little and rubbed his eyes. Kami, I work too much.. I need a vacation. He mumbled to himself. Needing to stretch out his legs, Akira yawned and stood up only to fall back down for his legs had fallen asleep.
"Itai..." he whined out from the slight pain that jolted up his entire body from his legs. It caused his hair to prickle slightly. After returning to normal, he looked around to see several people staring at him. Laughing nervously, he just started to sip the coffee that he ordered.
"Oyasumi...." He whispered to himself into the cup. Sipping the coffee he felt a lot better and put the glass down running a hand through his hair. Standing up, he finished off his drink, put the money on the table, packed up and left the cafe going through the outside gate.
Looking up at the sky, he frowned at the gray above. "..Sugoi...rain."
