OOC Chat is a place where you can talk about anything and everything. Post something random, or start up a conversation. ^^

And yeah, just talk about anything!
PostPosted: Sun Sep 05, 2004 12:06 pm

Hmmmm. OOC. Well, to keep myself amused well I post up my roleplay I shall talk to you lovely people!
First, I’ve heard a few people agree with me that Floyd rocks! *pokes inconspicuous conversation starter* I’ve recently got The Wall soundtrack, and although the movie is better I’m still debating which music is neater. The movie has better effects well the CD is clearer thus making more since durning wierd points like The Trial and Stop.
Anyway, well rambling on about music, does anybody know who made the Highschool Confidential song? Not the one used as the Queerest Folk (or is it Queer eye for the Strait Guy? I don't watch my TV sweatdrop ) soundtrack, but the older one, sung by a man about a woman rather then a man about a man. I know the lyrics off by heart and I've just listened to it on the radeo but I’m still hunting down who made it! >.<
*dances around inconspicuous conversation starter* La-da-dah!

Pink Floyd does indeed rock!! They rock my socks...when I wear socks anyway. I have the Wall, all 3 disks though I havn't seen the movie yet. I really want to though!!

The movie Dazed and Confused was on the other night though. With a whole bunch of Zeppelin music. I wanted to watch it but I got book for babysitting. I have to babysit again tonight...

Have you listened to The Doors?? If not you need to. I love the song People are Strange. Jim Morrison is so cool xd

People are strange, when you’re a stranger; faces look ugly, when you’re alone! I have the best of for the doors along with a poster of Jim Morrison, topless with his arms stretched out, in my room. It was 1943 ~ 1271 on it. *moment of respectful silence*
I love Riders on the Storm!

Anyway, the rock opera movie The Wall KICKS a**. It also explains the somewhat offensive songs on the album like In the Flesh and Waiting for Worms. I’ve always known what The Wall was about and I’m one of those people who listens to every word of an album so unlike my friends I never got confused by some of those things. Awesome plot in The Wall! AWESOME!

I also The Song Remains the Same, or Dazed and Confused as its also called. Another cool rock opera, just like The Who: Tommy Rock Opera, Rocky Horror Picture Show and Jesus Christ Superstar. I love those movies.

Oh, and babystitting sucks. I loath little kids! HISS!

I was supposed to watch Rocky Horror Picture Show tonight but I am babysitting...again. I don't like kids that are older then 3 but I am babysitting a baby that is like 6 or 7 months old. So cute!!

Riders on the Storm is very cool. As is Spanish Carivan.

You listen to awesome music!!

Babies remind me of the face-huggers form the Aliens moves... sweatdrop

And yes, me loves my music. It’s the only good music, Classic Rock and Blues and Jazz. I have so many posters in my room, it's crazy. And I just bought a Dark Side of the Moon shirt.

Being a classic rock fan, I have a daring question for you: Metallica...Saint Anger. Tell me what you think? Just mentioning it makes me shutter in disgust, and the response is the same for most of my vintage loving friends, however I've met some people who've never heard of The Call of the Kathulu, For Whom the Bells My Toll, or The Unforgiven who say that that album rocks. It’s sad, really. But I still like to hear other peoples views on it.

I haven't listened to Metalica in a while since I just stole my cousins CD instead of buying one for myself. He found out and came over and made me give it back. So I can't really answer that question.

Face huggers from the Aliens movies...You have a strange way of looking on the world. But that is what my friends tell me since I like to quote Dune so much.

I just bought myself a new Led Zeppelin t-shirt since my mom washed mine and it shrunk. While there I bought an ACDC t-shirt as well.

Yes, I have loads of odd analogies. sweatdrop

I don’t have an AC/DC shirt, but I was going to get a Nazareth shirt when I saw them in concert this summer, but it was so crowded. We had to stand on cars and jump fences just to get in…fun!

And speaking of AC/DC, Thunder Struck just came on the Radio…and speaking of Thunder Struck, I’ve learnt to play that on Alice, my beloved guitar.

Alice eek ...I want to learn to play guitar. Jay might teach me electric guitar this year for $20 a lesson.
Jay is the sexy office chick who is a guy at my dance studio. He and Jessica started up the studio and now the 2 are engaged. He is cool and also helped me out with graphics and all that fun stuff.

Hmm Pink Floyd Money just came on my computer. I made myself a little playlist with awesome songs on it. Yay. biggrin
PostPosted: Sun Sep 05, 2004 1:11 pm

Yes, Alice. I love her so much! I pay about $20 for lesions, although it’s more or less a ‘jam-session’. Guitar is easy to learn, but its best to play with other people. If you ever start then talk to me and I’ll give you bunchles of tips. 3nodding

I have a large play list on my computer, but I’ve been listening to CDs (The Wall, mostly) as of late.

Well I won't be starting lessons till october since the first few weeks of dance will be pretty hectic. But don't worry once I start I will ask you all my guitar questions. I doubt I will name my guitar though if I do I will call it Mazikoo.
SO that is Thyis for guitar questions and Panda for car questions. Is there anyone I can PM about Adobe Illustrator??

Hee hee I stole my mom's Door's CD and copied it to my computer. I havn't given it back yet though.
PostPosted: Sun Sep 05, 2004 1:59 pm

My brother just stole the Doors CD I stole from him months ago. He also grabbed my Led Zeppelin Later Days CD. I still have his AC/DC and some other stuff. It’s amazing how things move around in my family.

And no, I know about Photoshop, but nothing about Illustrator. >.<
I was going to do a comic on Photoshop, but I prefer fancy inking in black and white. Which costs a lot of money. Damn expensive art stuff. stressed

I already know stuff about photoshop. I am trying to see if I can make an avatar drawing with illustrator but the eyes are proving a problem. I am at the moment googling tutorials for it though.

Google is such an awesome search engine *pets it*

It would be cool if there were comics of the guild. THen it is like LRPA: The Comic. Wow.

Hmmmm..............Starting a comic about this place is a dangerous thing to talk about to a bored college student with a three day weekend and no homework due.

Dude, LRPA: The Comic….crazy! xd
I’m more of a traditional artist, so my knowledge of such things are limited. And yes, Google is awesome. And it has a cool name. Google…It’s…Googly…
Yes, I need sleep. sweatdrop

I take it you’re an artist, or what?

EDIT: Sorry, Tara, I didn't even see you there. sweatdrop
