What is your sign and your partner's sign? Do all the astrology books and websites say that it would never work, even though everything is fine right now? Why is that so? Or do you think it is true?
For example, Capricorns are supposed to be a good choice for Pisces. But I personally don't think I could date one -^_^- Too many weird Capricorn experiences (I'm not saying that all Capricorns are weird).
I'm a Pisces, and my boyfriend is a Gemini. One place online told Pisces people to "run for the hills" when it comes to Gemini people XD
What do you guys think?

Meh, you also have to consider their moon & rising sign if you know their chart but I don't always follow the books. Although every boy i've ever been attracted to were aquarius. My boyfriend & I are both aquarius. heart 3nodding

Im an Aries, and my Partner is a Capricorn. I dont think I can find a better partner than her. Ive tried dating Cancers, and well they didnt work out, and the Libra I knew well she doesnt like me too much but Capricorns.. They are awesome friends and lovers as well.

I'm a Cappy but I just don't have the right kind of synergy with Pisces. We can get along well but it's always on a superficial level. I think they're much better with Tauruses Pisces really can't handle our capricious behavior as well as other signs can. No offense, it's just how the universe is balanced.
There are some people that tell you things like earth is good with water and air is good with fire and that might be true on a VERY GENERAL BASIC SENSE, but...it's sooo much more complex than that. =/ I think there's a real truth to astrology tho...

You never go by just the sun sign when you take a look at partnerships...
You have to look at the whole natal chart...
You can go to astro.com and get free partnership charts there.

I never ask the person what their sign is before I go out with them... I kinda find out later and am like, 'oh, cool.' But I'm still gonna go there later XDD

Im Libra, so I'm compadible with Gemini and Aquarius...
One cool thing is, My dad is also a Libra and my mom is a Gemini xd
But they never married, so my dad married a Cancer rolleyes

I'm a Leo and my boyfriend is an Aquarius...and, we're doing pretty good so far.^^
From what I've heard Leo+Aquarius=Worst compatibility a Leo sad

well, although for every one here who belives in astrology or likes the thought of it ... in my opinion astrology has nothing to do wiht love rely .. and if you depend on it to decide who you date then you wont have to much fun. x_X
eh anyways i dont even have time to say much but ya dont turn to astrology for love advice .. hah

broken_machine well, although for every one here who belives in astrology or likes the thought of it ... in my opinion astrology has nothing to do wiht love rely .. and if you depend on it to decide who you date then you wont have to much fun. x_X eh anyways i dont even have time to say much but ya dont turn to astrology for love advice .. hah Well, if you believe in astrology (that it has an influence on personality, specifically), and you accept that sometimes people can have personalities that are incompatible with certain other personalities, then it's logical to draw the conclusion that astrology may have an effect on compatibilities between people. However, it would be stupid to go be astrology alone (for example, refusing to become involved with someone for no reason other than their sunsign). You can also consider that planets (like venus) or sign correspondences (i.e. person A's moon sign matching person B's sun sign) may be more relevant when it comes to relationships than direct sunsign compatibilities. Of course, that idea can be generalised to apply to more than just relationships.

You have to look at both people's natal charts and see ALL of the aspects between 2 people. For example, Libra and Capricorn square, making them basically arch enemies when only compared in Sun Signs, (same with Picses and Gemini) but I've actually dated one for 7 months. It's over now but still, 7 months. All of her Libra planets being the Sun, Mercury and Venus fell into my 5th house, house of romance in this case, and my Seventh house in Sagg., house of marrage sextiled it all. So, everything was quite affectionate. Then, all of her Libra trined my ascendant and Venus, so their was a huge attraction. And last but not least, there was a moon, moon trine, so there was a lot of emotional support. So, that alone is proof you have to first look at your natal chart and your partners natal chart for harmonius aspects like the ones above on this kind of thing. I'm an Aquarius with a Saggitarius Moon. I don't remember what my first boyfriend was, neither do I, or did I care at the time.
My second was an Aquarius.
The one I just dumped was an Aquarius (virgo moon) too.
Aquarius suck LAWLZ~!
The guy that I want to date, that wants to date me too but we haven't got to doing that yet is a Scorpio.
The other guy I'm thinking about dating is on the Libra/Virgo cusp.
The guy I recently had a love affair with at Summer Leadership School was a Virgo.

I'm pisces, my boyfriend is an aquarius.
You have to look at every aspect, though.
My moon is cappy and his is pisces...
that's supposed to be really bad for moon signs.
I think we're doing pretty well, though. xD
