Saede cupped the leaf in the palms of her hands as she walked along. Her hands were not so close together that she could not see the strange activity that was happening inside them, but it was obvious she was trying to shield what she was holding from the swift summer breezes. The young girl's fox-like ears and sharp gray eyes were at alert. Whatever was happening in her hands, it was good enough that she was completely ignoring where she walked.
"So weird," she cooed quietly, watching the leaf as it rolled and twisted in her hands. She had yet to plant it, though she was somewhat glad now. Certainly she would not have really been able to see this kind of thing if the plant was safely tucked into some soil. It seemed a little counter productive that she was off to buy some planting supplies right then, but Saede was not in the habit of making sense.
Despite her hyper nature, the girl was not paticularly happy. She was normally a very feminine, happy-go-lucky sort of person. As of late, though... things had been somewhat slow. Almost purposefully unlucky. That was the reason she had forced her way out of her apartment, dragging the now strangely acting leaf along with her. Her other adopted "children" had stayed out the house, assuming their guardian was PMSing. She was a female, afterall. All the same, the bit of nature she had in her hands was starting to make her calm down. And possibly walk into traffic.
