Where I live, we hardly get any good bands.
'Cept The Rolling Stones.

I'd love to see them live.
I watched them live on Jimmy Kimmel one night.
They were awesome.
They played Backstabber. surprised

I also watched them on Jimmy Kimmel. <3

I did see them live on October 17th at the Barrymore last year. It was my birthday and undoubtedly the best concert I have ever been to. We were right up against the stage, just feet away from Amanda. My first concert was the Foo Fighters at Summerfest in 2003. My sister said I probably would never see a better concert. HAH. How wrong she was. I'm going to see the Dresden Dolls and P!ATD at Summerfest this year. I am pumped. I want to meet them some day and thank them for being my favorite band.

I saw them in May.
It was an aweinspiring experience.
I was singing along and taking pictures and just having an awesome night.
To see them live is so much better than listening to them on CD's or the computer.
It was real.

I have a SAD (cry >.<) story...

This April my friend and I bought tickets to see The Dresden Dolls in Chicago. It was an 18 or over show, but we are so close to 18 it's ridiculous. When we got to the concert we had to stand in a very long line. The show was sold out. (XD) It was freezing and the doors didn't open until 1 when they we're supposed to have been opened at 11... But we waited because we love The Dresden Dolls. We finally get to the door and they will not let us in. I think that is one of the saddest feelings in the world... To be denied the right to see your favorite band perform. Screw Chicago. XD

I saw them in December, the day before New Years. It was in San Francisco, and it was totally awesome. My boyfriend and I dressed up, and we looked awesome -proud of the costuming-. We got a lot of random people taking pictures of us. xD;

That SUCKS.

But on the birght side, you have a sorty to tell The Dolls if you ever get the chance to meet them. <3

I didn't get to see DD the last time they came to Vegas. I was grounded at the time. I was planning to go with a friend of mine. The day after the show, my freind claimed to have met Amada and Brian and even recieved a hug.

D< I hope he lied.

I'm seeing them in July for the first time. I've seen many live performance video's, such as the one where the stool breaks, and many Half Jack intro's.
I'm excited. It's a shame I'm only seeing them as an opening act, and not a full set. >.<

I was going to go to a Panic! At the Disco show just to see them open...

But figured it wasn't worth the cash. I'd rather wait and see them as the main performance.

There is this show with Amanda Palmer going around... I think...

It'll be in Toronto in July, I'm thinking of catching that.

I haven't gotten the chance to see them live yet. I bought tickets to see them in Orono, ME (I go to school there), but the show was cancelled because Amanda & Brian got sick. Sadness. crying

I've been an avid listener for a while, but the first concert I went to was last year in Ohio, and let me tell you, it rocked something hard core smile . Sat at a table right next to the stage, the first opener was ok, the second was mind blowingly good (but it was Devotchka, what else could you expect razz ) and then, oh sweet lord, sexy sexy Dresden doll action smile

That was one hell of a night, drive 4 hrs to see em, drive 4 hrs home on adrenaline smile

Going to be seeing them again in July, so yay. They're opening for Panic! At the Disco in Indy. Weee! don't have to drive to see em again!! razz
