I've seen a few around Edinburgh, and there was one painted purple and converted into a coffee shop!

Unfortunately, that story was posted in 2001, so I think a comeback for the police box is off the cards... sad

As the new series has been made it would be a bad idea cause small kids will keep going into it and using it for the wrong reasons. The Policemans job has changed since the 60's. I'd love to see the local policeman on the beat again crying

You're guaranteed to find one just outside Earl's Court tube station in London. And I'm sure that they have at least a dozen left in Glascow.

Hehe, I saw one of those in London once, my friend and I went loopy XD It's hard to believe that one time Police Boxes had no sort of, um, OHMIGOD factor, they were just Police Boxes confused And nowadays, even of you're not a Doctor Who fan, when you see one you automatically think, 'It's the TARDIS!'

A coffee shop, huh? Sorta iconic isn't it? I mean it's suppose to be a polic box, but has been turn into a coffee shop? Polic, coffee....come on...think about it. XD
