Welcome to the LemonLimeLiterateLove Guild. This is a guild for literate yaoi roleplay. Before you read on, make sure you understand what these terms mean.

Literate: versed in literature or creative writing. In this guild you're expected to be able to write in complete sentences and use moderately legible attempts at spelling. You are expected to understand the basics of plot and character development and to use proper grammar, punctuation, and capitalization in your roleplay posts.

Yaoi: a Japanese acronym that roughly translates as "no peak, no point, no problem." A genre of art and literature dedicated to the expression and exploration of male homosexual relationships. If you have issues with homosexuality, this is not a place for you.

Roleplay: an interactive writing exercise in which players write their characters actions, dialogue, thoughts, and emotions in response to the situations that are created by themselves and other players. Roleplay is not cyber, nor is it an invitation to cyber. Players are talking and acting through characters that are not them, and may in fact have greatly differing morals and viewpoints from themselves. Do not make assumptions regarding a player based on the character they play.

Now that we have a clear idea of what the Guild is for, let's lay out the simple rules to make things comfortable for everyone.

1. Obey all Gaian rules regarding what may or may not be posted. No cybering, no violence, no bashing, no harrassing, no porn.

2. Respect the other members of the guild. No trashing, no bashing, take your fights outside or be banned.

3. Read the rules of each RP thread before asking to join. Each RP has different requirements for participation.

4. Do NOT post donation requests, advertisements, or other non-roleplay discussion in the roleplay threads. If it is in your signature, that's fine, but it should not be in your main post.

5. Do NOT stretch pages. If you want to show an image that is bigger than 500 pixels wide, either shrink it or link it.

6. No godmodding, autohitting, or any other assumption regarding your character's success with an action or the other character's reaction. If you find yourself in an impossible situation, you may, with consent from all players involved, seek an adjustment that will allow for RP to continue without distraction.

7. No killing other people's characters. They spend a lot of time creating them and PKs will therefore be ignored.

8. If you must leave the RP and strand another person's character in a situation, you have 2 hours to resume the roleplay or the player is free to excuse their character from the situation and use them elsewhere.

9. If you have a character in a relationship with another person's character and you are absent from the RP for two weeks, they can absolve the relationship for their character on the basis of abandonment and seek another relationship.

10. Have fun, and post in your join request "no peak, no point, no problem" to show that you've read all the rules and agree to them.
