banner by Winter TrabexLOS from Yahoo Groups. ancient time of Hariel, Talpa, and the first Ronin Warriors A time of war has swept the county, and the entire Mortal World. The Warlord Talpa had decended upon the world, his shadow and evil growing with each passing day. He all ready has in his service two of the three remaining Hyrosha children; the dashing Anubis and the child Dannin. Anubis looks out for his sister, who is barely ten years old. The other warriors Talpa has convinced are Sekmeht of the Snake clan, Cale of the Jackels, and Dais of the Spiders. But, against Talpa, stands the clan of the Ancients, lead by the Ancient himself and the last Hyrosha child, Kaylyn. The Ancient has gathered many warriors to fight for truth and light, not the least of all is Hariel of his own clan. Hariel is much like Anubis, eager and headstrong, but willing to take the task. The Ancient has other warriors with Hariel, five in total.

He slowly approached the top of the cliff ledge that overlooked the sprawl of clan lands, fully expecting his advisor to be there... well... friend. He was trying to make himselff unnoticeable, to sneak uip on her and catch her out of the lue by surprise. That never happened, and it didn;t happen this time.
"Alaric, what troubles you that you go so far and abandon training to seek me out?"
He sighed and stood a respectful distance away from the raven-haired girl seated near the cliff's edge.
"Something that came to me in a dream. A death of one who bears my armor, though if it was me or not I could not tell. It happened in a solo battle... and the armor passed on to the one who killed me."
"Why does that trouble you? It means ypu chose to pass it on, or whomever wore it did."
He sighed.
"Go back to your training, Alaric. The future is forever changing, you never know what events will alter your fate, or the fate of the one who died in ypur dream."
He left, heading for the training grounds, knowing full well that if someone caught up with him anywhere near here, they would know he had gone to visit Shadowsage again. And with the rumors... he would get teased mercilessly.

Under the edge of the cliff, a young man practices with twin katana blades alone. His wild hair is held back by a red bandana, his moves fluid with years of training under the hand of the last warrior of the Wildcat Clan. He is quiet, but watches the world as if he wants something to fight.

Alaric grinned as he neared the boottom o the cliffs, before with a rather loud yell, he tripped and started tumbling down the last few hundred yards.... barrelling right for Hariel...
halfway there, he took down someone else, in a growing avalance of armored people tumbling down the hill....
"Alaric I am gonna kill you for this when we stop rolling!"
"Gomen nasai, Michael, it was the rock's faylt- ahhhhhhhh!"
Crash!

Hariel sees the others only moments before he is knocked from his own feet. After sliding for a bit, and stick under someone with armor on, he shoves them none to gently off of him.
"Do I really want to know what just happened," he says.

"Ask Alaric"
Michael grunted as he shoved said instigator off of him, getting up carefully.
"He's the one who took *me* off my feet."
Alaric grumbled as he got up, readjusting his armguards, and trying to regain some of his dignity.
"I was taking a walk when a rock jumped out and bit me."
Michael rolled his eyes.
"You went to talk to the girl again, didn;t you?"
Alaric colored slightly as he denied it.

Hariel could not hold his laughter. He chuckles a bit, grabbing his two katana blades where, fortunately, no one had landed on them, and sheaths them on his belt.
"Don't worry about it," he says, "it's still morning. Day's ahead of us."

sweatdrop "Exactly so, so can we get going please? I still have to meet with a few people from a visiting clan..."
A female voice made Michael start in surprise and emit a VERY undignified and high-pitched squeak.
"Or you could simply state that there are visitors from the Wildcat clan today and you want to see a certain-"
redface "Aahhhh.... we should get going now, right?"
Alaric began quickly walking off to Shadowsage's amused smile.
"Interesting pile of armor you three made. Who started it?"

Hariel shakes his head, "Dunna look at me, I was innocent."
He runs a hand through his black hair. So the Wildcats are comming, not that there are many left in that clan.

Michael chased after Alaric to tease him mercilessly about firting with women, while Shadowsage paced Hariel.
"I was not about to. Alaric can be a kluts when he is not paying attention to where he is going. Did you know that there were people from clans thought long dead who showed up around here recently? Such as from.... the greatly-despised Dragon clan?"
She casually stretched.
"Or that there are supposedly survivors of some slughter a dozen years ago taking refyge under the wildcat banner, and that's why they have come, perhaps?"
She let her silver eyes rest on Hariel, her gaze as piercing and creepy as ever, as though she saw right to your soul.
"I spend most of my days in solitude, so rarely is my company valued, I find it better yo let others seek it, but when I do say something, the smart ones listen... Be careful, Hariel. The armor called Inferno can bring great destruction."
OOC: play along, I have plot for this.

(I'll try)
Hariel nodds, "I've heard a lot of things. Some are truth and some are not. As for a piece of armor, I think I can handle things."
He streatches his arms, "I wonder if Kay-san is comming."

She shook her head.
"Just be careful. IT can be either a great force on your side, or a great force of destruction."
She looked ahead, eyes landing on the pair of warriors ahead of them.
"You all share a destiny that has been woven in time and will repeat in time. And yes, Kaylyn is part of the delegation."
She brushed her hair back, revealing slightly pointed ears, before it fell back into place, covering the top half of them.
"I had best get going, I'm supposed to smooth over some argument between the Crane and Cloud clans."

Hariel tries to hold in a laugh, "Good luck. They're always arguing over something. We all be careful Shadowsage. That's the easy part. Keeping others from attacking, that's a little harder."
He turns to the other warriors with him.
"Almost breakfast," he says, "and with everyone comming, there has to be someone for you guys to flirt with. Come on."

stressed I WAS NOT GOING TO FLIRT!"
"Suuuurrre Alaric. We all know you have a thing for the lovely Kaylyn."
Alaric sputtered, glowered, growled, and stalked off.
Michael laughed quietly at his retreating form.
"Breakfast sounds fine to me."
Shadowsage shook her head. "I'll have better luck than most... hopefully."
She retreated and held out a hand as she walked, a ringed staff topped by a dragon materializing there. Everyone knew she had it, nobody put much significance on it, simply because she was a mediator, and had proven her value to them.... and her loyalties.
They all assumed the Ancient had adopted her loosely.

Hariel roars once Shadowsage is gone, watching Alaric storming off. Hariel shakes his head.
"Breakfast," he says, "yah, no good trying to find the girls if we can't think past our stomachs."
He starts off, waving the others to follow.

In the village, with long silver hair and dark brown eyes, Kaylyn Hyrosha walks in ahead of the other Elders of her Clan. She wears basic training armor, with a black robe over it. Over her shoulder is a no-datchi, and stitched everywhere is a sliver Wildcat.
