FAQ

What is this place?
This is a Guild specifically made to help and support undershipped pairings, usually the people who support this are too far and spread apart and so this is to help unify the underdogs into an area to share their love of a specific ship.

Who are you?
I am CloudedMemories, I am the Captain of this guild and I made this into what it is (with help from my Crew and Vice-captain of course.) This guild was originally a Harry Potter guild to ship Harry Potter/Hermione Granger but after the Death Hallows, HP in general has started to wane. So I decided (with votes) to convert this guild into a different Guild.

What consititutes as an "undershipped?"
I generally say that a ship that is undershipped popularity wise is the one that will have support. For example Yaoi ships are fairly popular, though they rarely happen in canon. However they are popular in the shipping world so they are not undershipped thus have a lot of support and resources. A pairing may be canon but still be undershipped simply because it lacks the support, so you can create a thread on that pairing.
I do accept (Yaoi, Yuri, Shoujo-ai, Shonen-ai, BL, GL, or any same-sex pairings), it will most likely be denied simply because it already has an overwhelming amount of support for it.

How can I check if it's "undershipped"?
A few resources could help.
Use google to search for your pairing (using different variations on their sign, A/B, AxB, first half of A onto latter half of B, etc) and if you can barely find anything on them then I would consider it undershipped.
Using deviantart you can do the same searches and check for how many fanarts there are on a pairing, if there's little (i.e. none) then it's more than welcome to be shipped.
Using fanfiction.net, mediaminer.org, even (not recommended) adultfanfiction.net. You can search and check/tally the amount of fanfictions there are for a pairing and then you can see if they are undershipped or have tons of support.
Also if your pairing has never been seen before simply because that genre does not have a lot of fandom in general (TV Shows, Movies, etc) than you don't need as much proof.
I will also take into consideration of scale, Naruto/Sakura in case would be an undershipped pairing comparitive to Naruto/Hinata or Sakura/Sasuke. Thus I would allow the pairing to be created under the guild because in terms of scale they are smaller than the others in the same series.
Crack pairings count as well, so don't be shy if they aren't even in the same scene or panel once. It works just as well as long as you love them together!

My pairing isn't there to join! How do you make pairings?
Check Post 6 of Guild Business.
Also keep in mind that I will be reviewing the ship that you are submitting, using the above mentioned searches to make sure that this isn't just another way to spread an already extremely popular ship. I want to try to keep this for undershipped pairings so they have a chance to spread their wings and fly.

How do I become Crew?
You can start up a thread pairing and be promoted to Crew automatically.
If I find a person deemed worthy to crew, you will be promoted.
If my Vice-Captain (julliel) deems a person worthy to crew, you will be promoted.
If my Crew (Upper) deems a person worthy to crew, you will be promoted.
If a Crew member deems a person worthy to crew, they need to have another Crew second their suggestion and then you will be promoted to crew.
Begging, spamming, donating and other means of grovling/bribing will be ignored and will not get you to crew any faster. Infact it may deter people from even suggesting it.

How do I become Crew (Upper)?
If I or my Vice Captain think that you are doing an out standing job, you will be promoted to Crew (Upper), while there is no actual change to your status in the guild. Your words and suggestions will hold more weight as well as entire guild Monitoring instead of just your thread.

How do I become Vice-Captain?
Not a chance.

How do I become Captain?
Nope.

Why isn't Hermione in Ravenclaw if she is so smart? In all of the sorting hat songs it says that Ravenclaw is the place for "those of wit and learning" but Hermione was placed into Gryffindor. Why?

Even through Hermione does tend to be very bossy, and intelligent. It is shown throughout the books that Hermione is very brave and does things most Ravenclaws dare not to do. Such as petrify a friend (Neville) to help other friends who are in greater need. That takes a lot of guts. Or going off with Harry and Ron's escapades which usually involve breaking multiple rules in which she loathe's to do.

She's also brave in the idea she is willing to stand up to 'purebloods' like Draco Malfoy and that being muggle born is not bad at all.

Why do Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione shippers say we're delusional in liking this particular ship? And what would the mirror of erisid say about Hermione? I dont think it was mentioned in any of the books and I really think that would be kinda neat to know. If it was mentioned in the books than can you please tell me which book so I can re-read that book.

The delusional term came from the Interview with Emerson (The creator of Mugglenet) and JKR. Emerson used the term delusional, while JKR tried to change it to Militant. So JKR was trying to be conservative, though unsucessfully.

For the Mirror question, I wouldn't honestly know. Everybody has their own idea of what Hermione might have such as people question what Dumbledore saw in the Mirror when he was lecturing Harry about the Mirror when he found it. I do know that it wasn't mentioned in any of the books.

Well thank you anyways. I just wish some the R/Hr shippers wouldn't call us delusional. Thanx, I might have to check up on the mirror of erised though. It truly means alot to me that in our guild questions are answered...not rotting away into nothingness like some other guilds

The braveness and cuteness is debateable. The smarts is that specific, he is a master Wizards Chess player, and that can also count for his special ability. Most people love him for his quirky and sarcastic attitude, he's the comical one most of the time.

Also more people releate to him because he's not special. He's the most normal out of the trio therefore he is the most easy to relate to and identify themselves with him.

I don't know if this really belongs here... but ohwell.

In the sixth books can I get logical reasons for why Hermione/Ron Harry/Ginny acted in those ways? For Example: Hermione getting jealous, Harry being obsessed with Ginny etc.

I've already read the love potion theory- which was good.... just I want good reasons as why Harry/Hermione will end up together. I admit the sixth book made a raincloud go over that ship for me, and I want the sun to come out. xP, Ehh. That was lame, I know.

No worries Tinkerbellx0x0. This is a popular question often asked by pumpkin pie shippers after they read HBP. Okay...maybe after the "wtf just happen?", this is a close second.

The entire book is suppose to mislead the love subplot. We (the readers) are led to believe H/G and R/Hr when it's actually H/Hr the whole time! These two essays foundhere andhere will be a better explainer than me. Here is another one.

Hope they answer your question!

No problem. Have fun reading Tinkerbellx0x0. 3nodding

Yesterday, I was reading a dark fanfic found here. Anyway, I can't say much about the fic since it's very explict, and I wouldn't want to spoil it for anyone on here who would like to read it. So, here's the question the fic got me thinking:

Would Hermione be able to resist the Imperious Curse?

The only other person we know of being able to fight back was Harry. Now, we know Hermione is a fairly strong witch. However, could she be able to physically resist the curse? Mentally, she is, that's a certain. I know Harry isn't a Hungarian dragon, giant, or anything like that but he is more physically stonger than Hermione. This is probably an opinion answer but I'm interested in seeing what it could be if it did happen in book 7.

Pumpkin love and orange radish kisses to anyone who can answer this question.

The sorting hat was thing of putting her in Ravenclaw too but he thought it was better to put her in Gryffindor.
