I love cats and so I love the descriptions of how the wereleopards move. I love the pard and how they all sleep piled up together.

I like the leopards in the fact that they're a whole united group... But I'm fond of the wolves aswell just because of the whole wolf factor.
By choice, if I were on the offchance attacked and infected by a were, I'd still want to be a wolf.
It's just that in the Anita Blake series... The leopards have a better light shone on them and I like most (if not all) of the Part members. The Thronnes Rokke (spelling??) just doesn't have that going for them.

The Wereleopards. How they're all so close is adorable, they don't appear to be as fussy with rank as the wolves are. The whole thing with them sleeping in a pile is just cute, and they've all got a much closer bond then the wolves.
Mmm if LKH did foreshadwing like JK, I'd say Edward would be a wereleopard one day XD Simply because a bit Anita says that Edward is like a leopard. But I know that won't happen, since LKH isn't into word games and foreshadowing =P

I love the drama in the wolf packs. There's always so much going on in the fights for dominance. I also love the rats. I like how loyal they are to Rafael. It seems like they run the smoothest of all the groups.

I want to say wereleopards and leave it at that but I like the were animals (mostly leopards and wolves since I haven't heard much about the rat pack) together as a whole. They seem like a more tightly knit pack than the vampires, which I also think is odd since making another vampire seems much more intimate than making another lycanthrope.
I also dig the word "swanmane" ;p

Thanks for the clarification about the swanmanes. It has been a while since I read Narcissus in Chains and Cerulean Sins. I have been waiting to re-read them until right before Incubus Dreams comes out. I have re-read all the others and am almost finished again with Obsidian Butterfly so the previous books are all fresh in my mind and I completely forgot there was the swan king etc. in Narcissus in Chains. (I'm so embarrassed ... goes and hides in corner redface )

It's a tough choice, 'cuz they all rock, but I'd have to say wereleopards, just because their characters are generally more appealing overall. Of course, it could just be that lately the wolves have kinda been jerks in my opinion (excluding Jason of course blaugh ). I also love the rats, though, especially Rafael. 3nodding

I love the wereleopards. They are such a close group. I love how they greet each other. I wish me and my friends were that close crying . I love it how they all depend on Anita. Its so cute. xd My boyfriend wants to be a werewolf but in the series they are just all so disorientated and mixed up. There is too big a focus on power in that group.

I think it is neat that when Micah, Anita and the pard showed Richard's pack what it was really like to be a family, the wolves were all moved by it. I am glad they realized what they were missing.

I love the pard; they're all so dysfunctional at the beginning. I think it's great how Anita took a group of dependent kittens, for lack of a better description, and turned them into a solid, unified group. One of my favorite scenes from the books is when Anita's sleeping with the whole pard and Zerbrowski calls. Just about everyone got the phone before Anita.
I do like the wolves too, though. They have such a structured group, despite the obvious problems with Richard. The ceremonies they have always seem so interesting, plus I'm just a fan of wolves in general.
