When he opens the TARDIS doors and finds out he's about five thousand years off of where he thought he was. Every. Single. Time.

Hmm, I'd say when David Tennant was crying eek Don't think I've seen a doctor cry before! Then again I've missed a lot of the older series. I only saw some of the 1st, 3rd, 4th, 8th and 10th doctors, so who knows, maybe he's broken down a couple of times before??

He hasn't cried on screen before, although it's highly probable that he would have done in the Tardis outside the confines of stories. The Fifth Doctor was obviously saddened by Adric's death in "Earthshock", and the Ninth by Jabe's references to the Time Lords in "The End Of The World", Pete's sacrifice in "Father's Day" and Rose's apparent death in "Bad Wolf", but we didn't see him break down. I think the most surprising for me was when the Eighth Doctor told Grace and the Professor who'd worked on the atomic clock that he was half human on his mother's side. Don't know if that's true though. It was in the film. If he is, how come it's never been mentioned before or since?

He thinks it is probably because he was in the hospital and had just been injected with a drug that was designed to work with humans, not Time Lords, when he regenerated, rather than in or near the TARDIS like he normally is. So without the TARDIS to help, his body adapted to the conditions it had been placed in, and regenerated him using an amount of human DNA. His reference to himself as being half human on his mother's side would presumably have been an easier way of explaining it to people.

Hmm, I always thought he was actually half human, not just by a regenerating coincodence... But I don't actually remember when I recieved that piece of information. Time for some investigating! (bed more like, exams tomorrow...)

Oh it has definatley got to be on "Aliens of London" when the ninth doctor lands the TARDIS in 10 downing street and comes out to find about a dozen guards pointing guns at him. The look on his face. It makes me smile every time. lol

(bed more like, exams tomorrow...) It's cannoncity is uncertain. But there are numerous clues that point that he might be at least partly human in alot of the books. But again - unsure cannoncity. Back on topic? "I was a dad once."

in that one where 7 rides his motorbike and then he yells at those guard peoples and theres that welsh chick and they sing rock around the clock or some other song like that on the time travelling bus... and when he yells at the guards and then walks off with people and then they get aimed at and fired upon and he says 'I think I may just have gone a little too far...'
yes. and whenever the Doctor sings. Like at the end of one of the parts of 'the trial of a TImelord' and the happiness patrol.

Not that surprising, bearing in mind that original companion Susan was supposed to be his granddaughter.

~kid of punks~ has anyone seen the episode fear her or any of the second season stuff I'm in the UK so I've seen all of the second series. The only episode of Series Two that I've only seen once is Love And Monsters. I agree with you about The Satan Pit though. That one actually scared me!!! And made me cry...
