I have, they were the very first concert I went to many years ago. I was introduced to them by a friend nearly six years ago, and I still like them. I personally like their music.
But now, they are very popular over seas in the US, to the point that kids now don't really understand what Dir en Grey tries to say through their lyrics, they are becoming a new fad.

That will forever be the cry of the older fans. "I liked it first!!" Accept that when anything gets popular, there will be the little trollops that don't get it...and with it, there will come newer generations of fans that really are interested and really do care. That aside, on topic... I've heard the name. That's the extent of my knowledge, haha. sweatdrop

I've heard at least most of the songs they did that they made a music video for. I remember I liked a song called Cage (I think) a lot.
Though, to the extent of my knowlage I prefer Malice Mizer.

I love them, but I knew things would start going further downhill (in fan community) as soon as they went to america. as long as I don't have to hear another song like agitated screams of maggots I'll be happy. I know it's easier to express yourself properly in english, but I really wish kyo would stick to japanese a little more, he's just not very good at english and his singing seems to be worse in english most of the time D;
