Another picture that had alot of CGing to do. Okay, in the top left corner is the opening to space, and the girl is walking on a path to somewhere with walls of light disappearing as the universe grows larger. Those ribbons of colors exiting the universe are the visible spectrum of light...well, spead out that is.

This piece took a long time to complete, and oyu really don't want to see the original version xD. Hope you like it, and any suggestions? ^^

eek

I like it a lot. I think skewing the orientation of the figure really adds some dramatic punch to the whole picture. This looks like a fun experiment.

Now for your next challenge- get this effect going with something that's not anime related! mrgreen I think you'll have some killer works then.

I think the central figure gets lost in all the stuff in the background (though that is pretty cool looking xd ), maybe you could make her stand out as the central focus more?

Other then that, I think it's gorgeous.

How much more focused does it need to be? That's the only figure there, dead center of the picture plane. You don't want one element to overpower all others, you want each element to work together as a whole.

Yes, Gestalt is important, but that fact that she is dead center does not denote her as the focus (and I'm assuming that she is the main focus of the piece). I merely said that she seems to get lost in all the colors and shades, and it may be better to bring her more into the visual foreground.
