Please explain what your favorite book is and why.

This is a very hard question for me, because I love all the books. But, I chose Burnt Offerings because it is the first time you meet the council. I also love the Laughing Corpse because of the power Anita shows in the ending. I also love the power Anita shows in Blue Moon at the Lupanar. It is also where she really goes farther down the sociopath path, and I love that!

Obsidian Butterfly, first and foremost. Mostly because of the lack of sex in the book and the major involvement of Edward but also because of Olaf.

Another favourite would be Cerulean Sins but not because of the sex scenes. Mostly because of the weaving throughout of the case of the rogue werewolf and the ending. Loved the ending.

I loved the ending of Cerulean Sins as well. I am re-reading Obsidian Butterfly right now. I love the tension between Olaf and Anita. And the tension between Anita and Edward.

Burnt Offerings :3 I love Anita and Jean-Claude in the beginning, and then finally meeting council and Jason was adorable in it! o.O And I loved the fact that his animal was a butterfly XD (Not Jason~!)

The Killing Dance because Edward rules all, and more Anita x Jean-Claude-ness. And I was finally happy to see it end for a bit between Richard and Anita -_-;

Cerulean Sins had my favorite ending ever, with Greogry and Stephen and the misunderstanding about killing their father XD Also, Belle Morte plays a larger role, and you get dipped into the world of the most powerful vampire....<3 it's alot of reasons why but I'm too tired to think x.X I stayed up late enough to make Anita proud! *tease*

I think there is something about each book that I just love. I love Phillip in Guilty Pleasures. No matter how many times I have read it, I still cry each time.

The one thing I love in each book is when Anita has to fight someone hand to hand. Don't get me wrong, I love her gunfights and when she uses her powers it is always cool, but I love when she kicks butt with just her small body. It is toooo cool!

Even though I dislike Richard, and Blue Moon is in many ways a "Richard" book, I like Blue Moon the best. So many things in that book just make me squee in delight, even if it has very little Jean-Claude. Damien was just precious I think in it, and I nearly cried the first time I read it and I thought both Damien and Asher were going to die. Once she saved Damien and Asher was hurt I was convinced he would die, because some one had already been magically saved. I was so releived that they both made it out ok. Although I do love all the books very very much.

Blue Moon is one of my favorites too. Even though I hate Richard, I loved this book. I love when Anita sets off the power in the lupanar, I love when she saves Damian. I hate when Asher almost dies and then she saves him, but then she is afraid of him because of him touching her mind. It hurts him so much. I hated that because I really like Asher. I love the connection between Damian and Anita.

Asher my beloved. Parts with him make me so happy. I hope Anita doesn't do anything to make him sad in Incubus Dreams

I picked Killing Dance. It was the one that got me hooked and made me keep reading the series. But then again i like mostly every book in the series there are some i have some dislikes to but yeah you have to roll with the authors punches.

I chose Cerulean Sins, mostly because whichever book I read last in the series is usually my favorite since they are all so good.
Laurell K. Hamilton is an amazing author, and I love everything I've read by her.

I like her mini-story in the book Cravings. It is awsome, I think it's called "Blood Apon My Lips" or something like that. *Hyperness* 4laugh

But, my fave book book is Cerulean Sins... Well, that and Obsidian Butterfly. I can't wait for Incubus Dreams to come out the 28th!

Let's see. I loved Burnt Offerings because of the whole Anita/Jean-Claude!! I totally love their relationship and think Anita should end up with him. But alas, Cerulean Sins is a close second. My aunt and her boyfriend stole it from my room when we were on vacation and said they went through it to see if I was reading something "inappropriate" and suprisingly, they said they didn't find anything. question Yeah...they probably didn't look very hard...heheheh! ninja

I will go with Blue Moon since I think that was the book that made me officially a fan of the series (I didn't read them all in order so it's not like it took long).

Also, Obsidian Butterfly would have to be a close second. Without her main boys Anita still puts on a pretty good show.
