My favorite is Anita, of course. But I also love Edward, Jean-Claude, Asher, Damian & Jason. I hate hate hate Richard. Oh and I really hate Monica too! I have hated her ever since Guilty Pleasures. I am scared of Belle Morte. I think she has nasty stuff in mind for Anita.

I also like Jason, Natheniel and Sylvie. Shang-Da is cool too.
There are no real characters I hate even though I don't really like Richard much at this point I don't hate him either. I think that he'll come good in the later books.

I am not sure how I feel about Sylvie. She pisses me off when she defies Anita, but when she was tortured and hurt by Fernando it really got to me. So I was very glad he ended up getting his just rewards.

Narniakat I am not sure how I feel about Sylvie. She pisses me off when she defies Anita, but when she was tortured and hurt by Fernando it really got to me. So I was very glad he ended up getting his just rewards. Yea, sometimes I wish Anita would just slap Sylvie a good one. My favorite from the list would have to be Edward because he's too slick for his own good. I'm also an Asher fan. He's grown on me and I'm not too sure why.

I like Zane too. I like how much he respects Anita. I also love how much Asher loves Anita. He seems to be the only person who loves her for no personal gain other than to just be with her.
Oh and I loved hating Gabriel. His interaction with Anita was quite frightening.

Jean-Claudes my favorite. Yeah, I've fallen for the 'black angel' =P I hate explaining why I like somebody or why I don't, because I can never really put it into words. I just know that I like him, really like him. But of course, I also like Jason and Zerbrowski (<-- XD OMG He's awesome..) and tons of others. Asher is cool but I don't know...I feel like just slapping him once or twice. Edward needs nothing said about him because he's...Edward. He needs groupies!
I cannot stand Richard. He's actually very weak and insecure. I don't even think he sounds that pretty sweatdrop Those Fabio-(sp?)ish men aren't my type (Slender pretty boys with curls are though :3)

I have too many favourites ^^;
SOME of them are:
JC ~ For being the main man in her life (so so dreamy whee ) and for being such an interesting being, although he's been here since the beginning we still don't really know much about him.
Asher ~ For being so darn gorgeous (scars an' all!) and for being like an ickle puppy dawg ^^
Anita ~ The leading lady is always a fave wink
Nathaniel ~ He has got to be number one on my list, bascially because he's so helpless in the beginning yet he's getting stronger with each book. His own individual personality is starting to shine through, and hopefully he'll be seen as a human being and not a slave.
Jamil ~ I think the way LKH describes him adds to my liking of him, the grace of a dancer? Maybe the best stomach ever? Yes please! xd
Annnd I like... damn I can't think lol I liek too many so I'll stop here blaugh

How does everyone feel about Marianne? She really gets on my nerves with how condescending she is to Anita. I know Anita needs help learning the witchcraft aspect of everything, but it seems like everyone who could be in a teacher roll for her, treats her like a child. The same with Leonora Evans in Obsidian Butterfly. But she was more kind than condescending in the end.

He had his share of charisma but I surely wouldn't want to meet him down a dark ally xp I also agree with what you said about Richard. I used to be a fan but as the books went on he just became more and more of a nag. I think Narcisus in Chains made me an official member of the "boo! Richard" club.

I generally like all the characters but their is a certain someone I lovingly despise, that would be the every whining Richard.
My reasons are as follows, he whines more then a boy scout ripping his pants. He complains about how crappy his life is and how people should feel for him. Well buddy you are the werewolf king, you could have had a great woman, you have access to power and immortality and a huge loving family! As well as a job that you love. Why should we feel sorry for him?
He's also weak in the sense he's playing with other peoples lives and not just his own, he doesn't fully do a decent *note i put decent* job of keeping his responsibilities. He puts those around him in danger trying to maintain his fake ideal of being human.
^^ besides from all these reasons to me it just shows that Jean-claude and everyone else are so much better for Anita.

For the femmes of the series, I have to go with Anita because she is just like me. I mean, it's kinda scary. She's half mexican and white (I am) and dark hair and super pale skin. (I look like a vampire extra in the mornings). But I love her strength not to mention weapons. As my sig says, I love weapons. But a super close second is Belle Morte. I don't know, I just find her cool. Very powerful I guess.
Guys: JEAN-CLAUDE!!!! Aww!!! So cool!!! I hate Richard. I felt sorry for him at first but come on. He dumped her and he's acting like a kicked puppy. He is so...infuriating.

I am really surprised by how many people love Nathaniel. I guess there are so many strong characters, that he is a breath of fresh air, being so needy. I wonder if people will still continue to love him as he gets stronger and more self assured with Anita's help.
