Tears of joy, tears of sorry, tears of mirth---I've experienced all of them when reading. A character touches something inside of you, an experience on the pages bring memories rushing to the fore. Or maybe you're just an emotional wreck like me?
Whatever the reason, has a book ever made the tears fall?
I've cried while reading so many books, I'm starting to loose count. But the major ones are P.S. I Love You by Cecelia Ahern (This one was the worst---it has tear stains on half the pages!), The Dark Highlander and The Immortal Highlander by Karen Marie Moning, and Dance With the Devil and Seize the Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon.

Ooh, yes, a book has definitely made me cry, though I've never read the ones you've listed. But if I cry, then that's when I know the author's a darn good one. Only good authors can make you get into the scenario and affect your feelings.

Oh that happened to me after I finished Jamie by Lori Foster (That book made me cry, too). It was an awesome book AND the end of a series. That was a sad, sad day. ):

Yes, books have made me cry. Such as The Bronze Horseman, when ... (ok I won't spoil) That book is very depressing at places but SO good.

I cried when I was 13 and reading Marmalade Boy. Yuu started crying because Miki was his half-sister, and I was like "So sad ;~;!"

CorkeyRomano Captain Fanfiction I take it you're not a Kikyou fan? Not so much. xd (This conversation is really weird considering that I am talking with my mule half the time... confused ) Anyway, I wasn't a Kikyou fan until I watched episode 148. It's a beautiful episode, anyway, that I reccomend if you ever feel a whim.

CorkeyRomano Captain Fanfiction I take it you're not a Kikyou fan? Not so much. xd I don't like her either. I mean, I know she's had a hard life and the things that went wrong between her and Inuyasha weren't her fault. But if she really loved him she should be willing to let him go. She's dead, nothing's going to change that.
Plus I hate the way she manipulates those around her, sometimes she helps Kagome, other times she tries to kill her. It all depends on what suits her at the time.
.....She's also creepy.
