Its time to face the sad truth my fellow blinkers: blink-182 is never going to rejoin, and if they did it would never be the same. I mean Tom is all "mature" now so he would never make any more of his hilarious jokes or songs. But Mark is still a hilarious jackass (just the way we like). They would just not get along. It almost makes me cry.. but its the truth. Please voice your opinions.

I dont think tom wouldnt still have a humorous side...
I mean AvA is more serious band
he cant go running around naked in the video's..it wouldnt really
make sense with the sound.
If they ever did get beack together, it probally wouldnt be the same.
But I'm sure that they attitudes wouldnt have changed that much.

Tom DeLonge is sitll a hillarious jackass.
Anyways.
I really do hope that blink will get back together, and it's a possibility, Tom has said he would take Mark and Travis back if they would.
Unfortunately, I think Mark and Travis are taking this way too hard, and therefore I don't see it happening.
I also see a change in musical taste, Tom is more for this "Epic" sound, Mark is into electronic, bouncy music while Travis is more into like..hardcore s**t.

I dunno...I saw Angels & Airwaves (on TV, not in RL, unfortunately sweatdrop ) and Tom seemed to be acting kind of...the same. I mean, I respect him; I liked his "old self"...but, yeah, he didn't seem that different, if you catch my drift. I don't know what went on between him and Mark (I guess they haven't even spoken to each other?), but they gave a pretty good impression in the past that they were near best friends, so I do hope that everything works out between them. I loved their music, I loved it when they sang vocals together, it'd be great to see Blink 182 get back together...or just for them to play together again. I wouldn't rule it out completely, there's always hope!

you are kinda right i mean i hurts to say that there might never be a blink agian but i was listening to an interview with tom and aaa and tom said that AAA will not be another box car racer or blink 182 becausehe feels that he has matured more

and plus Travis has a family, now, and while he's still a skater boy at heart (judging by the episodes of Meet the Barkers I watched...) I don't think he'd want to leave Miss America at home while he went out and tried to relive the good fun days with his boys...

The problem originated with Mark and Tom. Mark was always a little jealous that Tom created box car racer without him but featured Travis. So to retaliate he created Plus 44 with Travis. When Tom was on tour in 2005 he felt a need to be with his family. After going home he was offered a solo career. He declined but Mark didn't know he had declined and became very upset and caused the hiatus. Although Tom predicts a reunion because Tom and Mark have atticus clothing, macbeth shoes and resting bird entertaiment hes been quoted as saying those obligations will eventually bring them back together.
Is the answer to the million dollar question and it make perfect sence.

well, there is a possible chance that they may get back together, but it's highly doubtful. They may get along because according to an interview with Tom he said he still says d**k jokes but he's more mature now. And also Tom and Mark are talking now according to Travis. So there may be a chance.

tom still makes the same jokes he used to make, hes jus grown to a different stage in his life where he's writting about thigns which he feels strongly about.
i dont think blink will ever reform, as i dont tihnk the members get on that well anymore, well thats rumored anyway.
tom's moved onto a different stage in his life and mark and travis have too.

they are still the same awesome people from blink 182
a hiatus is a vacation, or a "An inactivity of a band that has not formally broken up "
they will be back, nothing can keep best friends apart forever! its all a matter of time, they will miss each other, and eventually come back.
tom may be more mature with his music now but inside he hasnt changed.
i hear all these reasons why they "took time off" from other people but i still have yet to hear the true reasons from them themselves. i really believe they will return, ive seen many little videos of them together, and its very hard if not impossible to just throw that away.
ill be back here to say i told you so, when blink 182 reforms
they cant change who they are inside, and thats blink-182!
