About Djibril:

Physical Features:
Djibril is quite short. Only under 5 feet tall.
She looks to be around 20, much younger than her true age.

She has long, wavy, black hair, with red streaked bangs that frame her face. She keeps this loose unless she's in the lab. Then she may braid it.

She has smooth, pale skin and bright blue eyes.
Her face is delicate..somewhat foxy in a way. Pretty and fine boned.
Her nose is straight and fine, her eyes are wide-set and long lashed, lips when not under lipstick are rosy pink.

She has a well proportioned, somewhat curvy figure, (high, well-formed, round breasts that are just right for her size, slender waist, slim, rounded hips... curved in all the right places) despite this lack of height. And she has fine hands with long, slender fingers. Artist's hands.

Status and Personality:

A dimension traveling, extremely curious and capricious mage/avatar, Djibril is the current owner of the Tower. No, it doesn't have a name yet... >.> Dji's not too good at giving names.

Also previously known as Djibril of the Seven Shards, Djibril of the Seven Swords, Djibril of the Flames and Djibril of Shadowguard... Djibril was one of the most highly ranked mages of her home world. (also in Heimdall's world, she's the current avatar of Chaotic Evil, before she moved to Gaia on 'vacation', but then who's counting?)

She can be VERY helpful when she chooses to be. She will in general prefer peace and quiet and tends to appreciate honor, loyalty and hard work. She tends to respect people who show these traits, people who are polite and kind and gentle. She CAN be quite nice to others on occassion. She will be helpful if approached well, and terrifying if agitated.
No one can beat her in her own territory.

Unfortunately, she is also a lustful, greedy, obsessive compulsive, spoiled brat who is cranky in the mornings, who needs caffeine to function, who has a short attention span when NOT obssessed with something, who often forgets to eat or take care of herself while working, who is PICKY about her work and who is VERY. VERY. STUBBORN.

When she finally DOES take it into her head to be offended, she holds LONG. GRUDGES.

She does not like people 'rocking the boat', unbalancing an already 'satisfactory' situation, people who are RUDE, or who will say disparaging comments or who try to push their opinions on her.

She is willfull and stubborn when she has her mind set on something.

Thankfully due to the short attention span, the grudges do not happen often and she often apologizes when she's figured out she's done something wrong.

Of course she often screws things up socially.. she's not too good at dealing with people.

CLOTHING AND FASHION:

IN PUBLIC:
Dji likes silks, satins, leather and fur. She adores gowns of all types, as well as more form fitting sexy clothing like bustiers. She likes lingerie. She also likes kimonos and ornate robes. She likes long skirts and sweeping trails and boots. biggrin YES. BOOTS.

She is not too fond of heels. Prefers boots.

She likes bright colors. Blues, purples are favorites. Reds are also appreciated. Gold and golden yellow are used to contrast these shades as trims or in small areas.

She may wear dark colors as well, and when she does, they are rich dark reds, purples and blues.

Not greens. She's not too fond of green.

She likes ornate patterns.

IN PRIVATE:
She enjoys fluffy slippers and soft fabrics that are sometimes fluffy, sometimes smooth. When at ease and being lazy, she wears a large fluffy coat with suede and flannel inside to act as a lining and large baggy pants with shiny chains and a ton of pockets.

User Image

ARMOR:

She's not too fond of metal armor unless the metal is a thin, light yet extremely hard scale-type outer layer over a padded leather bodysuit.
She also likes trenchcoats, buckles and straps.

POWERS::

Her main aptitudes in Magic are Fire and Shadow.. and she is extremely susceptible to cold. COOL weather is not so bad.. but COLD weather is not good. In short, she needs a climate controlled environment to be comfortable.

She is also not good with water... as in she has low talent in using WATER spells and she cannot swim.

She is trained in the magics of Destruction, Necromancy, Healing and to some extent, in the sciences of Genetics and Biology.

She HATES Math though. Hence... Brenn. This construct handles the Mathematics necessary. Even as Heimdall handles the ice and water spells.

WEAPONS:

Djibril uses guns, explosives and bladed weapons. NOT long-handled items like pikes or spears.. she prefers swords and daggers when she fights with weapons at all. She honestly would rather use magic and has an extensive arsenal of destructive spells. She loves explosions.

As his name indicates, Lust is a pervert. He could also be called a deviant or a slut. Still, he's a PICKY b*****d and won't accept less than the best sex slaves. In general, this is the voice that makes Dji draw sexy males and lovely females, that causes her to make beautiful anthros and to lust after gorgeous pets from other shop. If Lust had his way, he'd have a harem of beautiful boys and girls in scanty clothing to screw as often as he pleased. Insatiable, snarky and persistent, Lust is one of the driving forces of Dji's art.

Is also overprotective, loyal and insane. >.>
In the OMG SO ON CRACK way.

She is a yaoi fangirl, adores anime and Manga, loves her family, and likes drawing and reading sci-fi and fantasy novels.

That said, she has a hair trigger temper, hates the sea and likes cute fluffy things.

She is much like Djibril when it comes to what thy LIKE and in some of their opinions.

Except Dji is far more.. um... er... X.x serious about things. Also Dji wears more bondage gear and more gowns than Gabe.

Gabe is almost always on a sugar high or on crack. >.> SOME kind of crack. Things that make her squeee are pretty males, manga, anime, stuffed toys, fluffy pets, pretty women, petting, mint, chocolate, cheese and fluffy fabrics and fluffy or shiny things. x.x

Gabe does not like dresses. She likes SEEING others wear them but she is SO not into dressing like a girl.

ALSO. where Dji is more considerate of people's FEELINGS or how people SEE her, Gabe has little or NO consideration for such.

So people expect others to keep up polite appearances... Pfft!

Who gives a damn about it or the whole concept of society or people adjusting to fit in and conform to society's morals?

NOT GABE!

She CAN be nice, if you don't piss her off, and loyal, kind and gentle to those she LOVES, but in general, she believes she knows better than anyone else what should be done, HATES admitting she is wrong, HATES asking for help, does not like chick flicks or over emotional moments and will be extremely awkward around people. Especially those she does not know.

Also, she likes setting things on fire.

And she never has reasons for ANYTHING.

Brenn

The First and Oldest of Djibril's creations and Minions.
Currently serving as a living calculator. No, REALLY.
That's basically what he does. Serve as her calculator and pc. He's too lazy to do anything more physical right now.

She created him to serve her a century after she took over as the evil overlord of Heimdall's world.

Made from metal as an artificial intelligence construct, Brenn is beautiful, graceful and has the ability to shape shift and cast energy. Due to his construction, he is incredibly strong, agile and dexterous. He is trained in many fighting styles and weapons, as well as in magic and hacking skills. He has a vicious sense of humor. He has a skewed sense of morality.

Unlike her other creations, Brenn is a maverick. He has free will and unlike the rest of her minions, excercises it as often as he can and does whatever the hell he feels like. He has his own agenda and Djibril is the only one he has ever or ever will answer to.

Quote: "Expect no Mercy, No one will ever give you any.

Zaknafein

User Image

Zaknafein is... was... the best weapons master in Menzoberranzan.
A brilliant and experienced fighter, he was also a rarity among his race, because unlike most other drow he had both unusual loyalty and principles.

He died twice, the first time, sacrificing his life for his beloved son, Drizzt, on the spider queen's altar, the second time, he threw himself in an acid pool rather than allow his undead form to be used to kill Drizzt.

When he woke up after his second death, he found himself in Gaia.
Naked. Worse, unarmed.

Djibril, also stranded there, found him and took him in.

He currently lives in a room at the tower. He works at the items shop, as a guard, keeping a watchful eye on the buyers to make sure they don't cheat his somewhat absentminded boss, Dji.

Djibril is interested in him THAT way. Yeah. She SO wants his a**. @_@ BUT. There's one hitch.

HOW THE HELL do you court a suspicious, somewhat cynical, too-serious, too-quiet dark elf who not only WORKS for you, but considers you to be nothing more than his boss?! >.> ESPECIALLY given his other previous relationships were with utter bitches?

Who probably disillusioned him of any good remaining in the fairer sex. >.>

Drizzt is Zaknafein's son. The apple of his eye. The one person he trusts.

He came lookiong for Zak's soul after the whole Errtu incident. X.x
Ended up stuck in Gaia TOO.
NAKED. UNARMED.
Zak found him before he could get in much trouble.

Dji thinks he's a nice kid. >.>
But Dji has no idea how he'd react if she was to try anything on Zak.

Hence, despite talent in fighting, his politeness, his kind nature, his loyalty to kin, his general willingness to accept people on the basis of their actions instead of race... Dji still classifies him as yet another obstacle.

That doesn't mean she doesn't LIKE him.
It just means he's in her way.

Which makes her even MORE frustrated kthx.

My OC'S:

Azrael

User Image

other images:
http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g83/anthrobreedableshop/bmbvm051.jpg

Father to Mosrael, Saraneth and Astarael. @_@ Archangel of Death. Dominion over all the human dead, the Final Judge, the Grim Reaper.

Loyal, intelligent and considerate, if a bit too serious for his own good. Likes classical music. Adores his family. Is also somewhat... @_@ obsessive compulsive.

Azrael has long, silky, black hair that's about a foot and a half longer than his height. He's 6 feet even, lean and rather slenderly built with fine almost delicate features. There is more than a hint of androgyny here, due to the grace of that straight, fine nose, those pale pink lips, the sooty black lashes, fine, wing-shaped, arched brows and those high, even cheek bones as well as the serenity in which these features are customarily set. He has porcelain pale skin that glows a bit and turns rosy when he blushes. A nearly tangible aura of peace that surrounds him. He always wears blacks, blues or purples. He prefers robes. He wears a black band over where his eyes used to be. He's known as the "Blind King". His weapons are two slender swords and a scythe. He walks as gracefully and fluidly as flowing water, so gracefully it looks like he glides, in fact Azrael is by nature a very good god. Honest, polite, gentle, loyal and good natured, he would honestly prefer people to simply get along and is sadly almost always disappointed. Azrael is also known as the Judge, because it is his decision who goes where in the afterlife. To his credit, he judges people fairly basing his decisions on intent, the ends and the means of their actions. It grieves him greatly to condemn people to a painful afterlife when they merit it, but he does what must be done in order to protect the living from them. He is just and implacable, despite his gentle nature. He cannot be bribed, nor swayed from his decision and he thinks all situations over from all angles before coming to a conclusion. His people adore him. They respect him and going to him after their deaths is one thing they truly look forward to. Unless said people have majorly ******** up, that is... To Azrael's halls come the suicides, those who suffer great pain and can no longer bear their burdens. He takes care of them and takes away their pain, before either releasing them to the afterlife, or before they join his servant's ranks. He does have drawbacks, however.. for one, he takes things FAR too seriously. Many times he cannot understand the jokes of those around him. For another, he is a workaholic, leaving little of no time for himself. And for a third... He FUSSES over people. In a mother-henning way that makes you feel guilty if you try to refuse him. Lastly, he's too bloody nice and some people regularly try to take advantage of this. And he takes criticism too much to heart, being a bit thin-skinned.

Samael

V.1
User Image
V.2
http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g83/anthrobreedableshop/Samael.jpg

Samael is the pervy, vicious, reckless and flamboyant Archangel of Lust.
He is uncompromisingly loyal and overprotective to those he loves and is VERY. VERY BIASED. Also holds millenia's worth of grudges.

Nephew to Azrael, brother to Djibril, son to 'the Great Traitor'.

He betrayed his father when his father led a revolt against heaven and blinded Azrael (Samael's uncle).

He was 'engaged' to Astarael, but he was never in love with her.. Rather, he accepted her as prospective mate as a replacement for Azrael, her father.. the one who Samael WAS in love with..

Samael's black hair up to the backs of his knees, streaked with red and with red tips, cascades down over his throne of obsidian and over the floor around him, loose and shining. His lustrous golden skin shines as if there were flames within him and his red, slitted eyes were beautiful, and filled with madness, like fractured mirrors, like the mind behind them. He moves with a predatory grace... like a panther and his every movement is an invitation to sex. There is nothing androgynous about him at all. His features are as graceful, sharp, masculine and well sculpted as the fine lines of a sword. Samael is the God of Lust, War and Chaos and he lives up to his name. His voice is black silk and sex and blood and death, hypnotic and poisonous, a deadly aphrodisiac. He is insane. Completely and utterly flaming looney. In one moment, he will be wandering around, carrying an adorable kitten in his arms, cooing to it and petting it, in yet another, he will stalk around in outrageously perverted outfits

(like the time he was clad in a black leather vest that was open, showing his midriff and gorgeous six-pack abs, black leather pants that looked as if they were painted on, with intricate cutouts that clung to his long, muscular legs crotch and tight a** indecently showing flashes of skin, black buckled boots and enough jewelry to fill a dowry. Earrings, armbands and an intricate golden collar with gems. An intricate pattern of black ink coiled around his upper arms and around his navel in a vine-like pattern. He looked like some sort of harem boy from a woman's wet dream. Heck, there was even a diamond in his navel!)

and at yet another time, he will rip a person or opponent to shreds in the most painful way possible.

Just because he feels like it.

His mind is like fractured glass and ice and diamonds, razor sharp, and beautiful and quite difficult to catch up to. It is quicksilver and brilliant, cutting to the central point of a situation and taking any way he comes up with to get what results he wants. His rage is legendary, burning with the urge to obliterate all in his path in the most painful way possible. Over and over. For as long as it lasts (which is unpredictable.) He holds long grudges and hates his enemies completely, seething with the need to spill their blood. He is loyal to his friends and his people. He protects what he knows is HIS at all costs. He does have morals and he sticks to them even if they are excruciatingly hard to understand, yet he is as sneaky and malicious and vicious when it comes to battle tactics as any evil overlord or demonic scourge. He gives people headaches whenever they try to follow his train of thought. He does not hurt or kill children. He does not hurt or kill or harm the helpless. He may act like a complete a*****e.. but that's only to maintain his reputation. When he isn't angry, he's really a marshmallow on the inside. He adores Azrael, has been in love with him since he first met him. He loves his people and takes good care of them. He is amazingly easy to get along with.. provided you don't piss him off. He is good-natured in his more lucid (or at least non-homicidal) moments, with a wry, twisted sense of humor and he is very good at using sarcasm.

Saraneth is the Archangel of Vengeance. Loyal and uncompromising, Vicious when provoked, he carries a grudge for millenia.

He is eldest of Azrael's children and is brother to Astarael (Justice) and Mosrael (Mercy). He adores his family and is overprotective of them. He would do anything for them.

In the end, he was forced to hunt down Ken'ichi and his masters while trying to rescue his sibling...and when he saw that he was broken, he gave Mosrael a merciful death, as per his request..

Mosrael

User Image

Mosrael is known as Archangel of Mercy for a GOOD reason.
He IS merciful and kind and loyal to those he cares about.
(If somewhat hasty to come to conclusion and too rash in his actions)
He acts as he sees fit and takes the consequences afterwards.

He has the gift of foresight to a flawed degree. He sees the future in pieces.

...>.>And then believes it, so he acts too fast and too soon and holds prejudices based on what his fore-sight shows him.

...and later he regrets it so he tries to FIX it and he does his best but FAILS.

Still.. he means well enough.

If it were possible.. Mosrael would save almost everyone if he had a chance to do so. He favors looking over and doublechecking the other person's story though and would like to believe that people are naturally GOOD DECENT HUMAN BEINGS.

He is too often proven wrong.

He's honorable and gentle and considerate.. and he spends his time defending people. 'Nuff said.

He's a sucker for love. Really. Go tell him a sob story and he'd likely believe you and try to FIX it, and refuses to accept that some things and relationships cannot be fixed.

Kind and gentle, overprotective and loyal and too damn optimistic, Mosrael was, as his brother put it.. 'Too damn nice for your own good.'.

Astarael

User Image

Archangel of Justice. The second child and only daughter of Azrael.
Friend of Sylune. Mated to Miroku during her second life.

Her original incarnation, a reknowned judge and warrior who fought during the Second Great war of Heaven, was murdered by her (unknown human) lover due to his corruption by demons. Samael detested him for this grievous sin of murdering one who loved him, and Samael cursed him to suffer an eternity of painful reincarnations and deaths until such time as Astarael herself would be willing to forgive him... and until such time as he could pay her back in kind by saving her life. The life he took before. A life, for a life.

When Astarael had been reborn, with no memory of who she had been, she met Miroku (reincarnation of the previous lover) and fell for him because of his kindness to her. Soon she who was most used to isolation began to long for his company above all else.

However, unlike her first relationship, at least this time around things ended well. When forced to choose, Miroku chose to spare her and flee for his life rather than obey orders.

Currently she has reached her evolution and is once more the judge of the dead who she was before, the balance between revenge and mercy. .

Brother of Azriel, and Prometheus. One of the 3 oldest Shadowguards. Polite, calm, quiet, competent, reliable and gentle, Cerberus does not look like the killing machine he is designed to be.
Like Azriel, he is devoted to Gabriel. Unlike Azriel, he is not feral, nor does he hate humanity. He rather likes humans, actually.

He is as highly trained as Azriel in the killing arts and in magic, but unlike Azriel, he also is a trained surveillance expert... Or spy.

Where Azriel is the obvious threat, the Katana, unhindered by morality or compassion, Cerberus is the assassin's stilletto, who strikes in the darkness, removing threats, his abilities hidden beneath a veneer of polite compassion.

He doesn't like what he does, but sees it as necessary... to protect his siblings, his mother, himself and the woman (Reine. Friend's oc) that he loves. He only hates one man, and that one man is Damien. >.> Who was mated to Reine before Cerberus was even created, and who left Reine behind.

Ken'ichi

User Image
Ken'ichi is a half demon assassin, who with his brother, were assigned to infiltrate and subvert the angels of that world when they'd found out their 'human' identities.

He lied to his (human) mate, and drove her away. Broke her heart. She took an angel as a mate on the rebound.. Mosrael. Ken'ichi's enemy.

Mosrael went by the precepts of 'turn about is fair play' and proceded to 'seduce' Ken'ichi in oreder to give him a let down equivalent to what he did to his mate.

Ken'ichi seemed to fall for him...and in turn. Mosrael fell for him as well. hoping that Ken'ichi would not betray them, they lived for each other (or seemed to do so ) happily enough, the human, the angel and the half-demon. But it was a lie. Ken'ichi betrayed both his mates and tortured the angel, who, as honor demanded, never lifted a hand to defend himself, assuming his own actions had brought this upon himself.

Desperate to get away from the traitor, the woman tried to commit suicide and Mosrael jumped after her, using his own body to cushion hers and break the fall despite his own injuries.

...The injuries didn't kill Mosrael. His brother, Saraneth, did, fulfilling his request.

Or any work for that matter. However, in his current job as Gabe's bodyguard, he conscentiously stays with her a lot, sticks to her like glue.

She finds his reaction to her advances very amusing, especially since he currently thinks she's a BOY. biggrin

He's somewhat homophobic. Hence the amusement at his overreactions. @_@ He's too d@mn loyal and gorgeous for his own good, it gets him into trouble. He's very easy to confuse. He's outgoing but can be easily embarassed or sidetracked. He practically always wears his ipod. He likes cats and rabbits. He also worries too much.

Heimdall Profile:

Ex- Norse God, the White god of Winter, whose aptitude is Ice, whose affinity is Light and Order.

This Former guardian of the Bifrost Bridge is currently a modern day librarian and historian.

He trained Djibril to take Loki's place as the evil overlord of that world.

Heimdall is... honorable, somewhat kind in an aloof way and takes his duties/ responsibilities very seriously. Also.. he is VERY Loyal.

That is his greatest virtue and at the same time, greatest downfall. He was loyal to the wrong person. He trusted his mate (who in the rp was Loki) and his mate betrayed him and left him to die after bringing about the death of Heimdall's entire pantheon.

Heimdall spent centuries doggedly hunting Loki down to kill him in vengeance for his kin, only to find out Loki had intended his Death at Heimdall's hands at the very beginning.

Thus, Heimdall is even MORE guarded and reserved and paranoid than he was BEFORE while guarding the Bifrost Bridge... and that is saying something since he was a nearly perfect sentinel then.

He took Djibril in and trained her to be a candidate for position as evil overlord because she was the ONLY one of the current candidates who WASN'T likely to kill her own kin..

History:

Googled Info:

Heimdall is the god of light, the son of nine mothers (variously given as the daughters of Geirrendour the Giant or of Aegir). He was born at the end of the world and raised by the force of the earth, seawater and the blood of a boar. Because of his shining, golden teeth he is also called Gullintani ("gold tooth"). His hall is Himinbjorg, The Cliffs of Heaven, and his horse is Gulltop. Heimdall carries the horn Gjallar.

He is the watchman of the gods and guards Bifrost, the only entrance to Asgard, the realm of the gods. It is Heimdall's duty to prevent the giants from forcing their way into Asgard. He requires less sleep than a bird and can see a hundred miles around him, by night as well as by day. His hearing is so accurate that no sound escapes him: he can even hear the grass grow or the wool on a sheep's back. At the final conflict of Ragnarok he will kill his age-old enemy, the evil god Loki, but will die himself from his wounds.

As the god Rig ("ruler"), Heimdall created the three races of mankind: the serfs, the peasants, and the warriors. It is interesting to note why Heimdall fathered them, and not Odin as might be expected. Furthermore, Heimdall is in many attributes identical with Tyr.

Divergence:
THIS Heimdall belongs to a world where Good and Evil have periodic battles in a never ending cycle. The pantheons and representatives of each force change after each confrontation depending on who wins that particular battle. the more battles a representative wins, the longer they get to rule over their element, either good or evil.

There are two Courts in that world.
The Court of Lawful Good and the Court of Chaotic Evil.
These Courts fight each other ALL THE DAMN TIME.
They call it The Great Game.

To become ruler of a Court, you have to defeat (and in Dji's case, kill) all other challengers for that position. Evil consumes itself.. this is their way.

On the bright side, Dji's not half bad despite her occupation. @_@ To her, it's just a JOB. Not who she is. Certainly she is nicer and more reasonable than her predecessors. (although that's not saying much.)

Azriel Profile:

The First and Oldest of Gabriel's creations and Minions. X.x She created him to serve her BEFORE she took over as the evil overlord of that world.

Made from Gabriel's own blood and the body and soul of a dying child Gabriel found discarded in a trash heap, designed and raised in order to serve as the perfect warrior,Azriel is beautiful, graceful and has the ability to shape shift (into a dragon or something similar) and cast energy blasts as well as hide in and manipulate shadows. Due to his construction, he is incredibly strong, agile and dexterous.

He is feral as well, and mistrustful of most humans. He resents their lack of appreciation for their births because his own biological mother never cared enough to raise him. He adores Gabriel because she DID raise him.

He is trained in many fighting styles and weapons, as well as in magic. He has a skewed sense of morality and places Gabriel as the only authority other than God that he will ever bow to. She is his mother and his precious person. 'Nuff said.

Azriel is solemn, loyal, too serious for his own good... He is a bookworm and he is the one in whom Gabriel confides in most often. He is her masterpiece. He is far stronger than his brothers and all her lesser minions. He is the Shadowguard who holds the most authority amongst their entire race.

He has his own agenda and Gabriel is the only one he has ever or ever will answer to.

...he is also addicted to chocolate, coke and caffeine. @_@.

History:

Azriel belongs to a world where magic is almost unknown and as such, his creator has a great advantage over her enemies.

He was created to help Gabriel take over the world for one simple reason.

Gabriel fell in love with an assassin.

Originally, this quiet bookworm of a mage was perfectly happy to stay in obscurity as an art student. However... this.. obsessive affection... for a man she saw as 'perfect' and who she knew she could never claim as hers until she had something worth offering him... drove her over the edge, fueling her drive to become strong.

When she found out what he WAS and that she could never have him unless she could pry him away from his masters, (which wasn't bloody likely until she could kill them ALL first) she went into intensive scientific and magical studies to make herself strong enough to retrieve him.

The result?

Azriel and his 'brothers'. And her current dominion over HER world in an attempt to become 'worthy' enough to gain her beloved's attention.

Azriel
"Ch'. This is Azriel speaking.
I don't know why I have to bother to talk to you people.
I don't owe you squat.
Look, I KNOW you don't like me.
I don't like you much either.So we're even.
So you stay the Hell out of my way, and you can keep breathing.

This is not a request.
I'm not asking you to play nice.
I'm warning you that if you get in my way, or in my Creator's way, I will kill you.Slowly and painfully.

Or I could keep you alive and torture you as long as I feel like it.

There are far worse things than death awaiting you if you ******** up my day.

You get the idea?

Good. Then this interview is over. Get the Hell out of my room."

Googled Info: is what they WERE intended to be by their creator(s). X.x

DIVERGENCE: is the point or are the points where we put the characters and their timelines on CRACK.

Mind you, it is very GOOD CRACK. biggrin

THESE are AU Characters.
Meaning, They are all Alternate Universe version with different Background/Personality quirks.

(I twisted and warped (a section of ) the multiverse to fit my designs. MUAHAHAHAHAHA~! -flees from the authors of the original books-)

The Characters are not mine...The settings are not mine EITHER.

The er.. twisted versions are my and my friend's doing. @_@
But honestly I have no idea why you'd want our versions of them. -sheepish-

Also, I AM BROKE. DO YOU HEAR ME? I HAVE NO $$.
SO SUE/MAIM SOMEONE ELSE.

MAIN DIVERGENCE POINT FOR ALL CHARACTERS FROM ARDA:

Morgoth never killed Feanor's father. >.< Instead he took Feanor prisoner and dragged him off to Angband. And almost everything else in the Silmarillion and LOTR never happened.

1) NO KINSLAYING. AND NO CURSE OF MANDOS EITHER.
Morgoth was er.. molesting Feanor in his dungeon at that time, so Feanor never got to try to steal the Teleri ships.

2)MORGOTH HAS THE SILMARILS. AND FEANOR.

3)MORGOTH was KICKED OUT OF THE CHOIR OF AINUR FOR PLAYING HIS TROMBONE DURING DRESS REHEARSAL.

Apparently his trombone playing sucks. @_@ Hence he has a grudge against ALL Valar and Eru to boot.

4) EVERYONE THINKS FEANOR IS DEAD. Or did at first for the first third of the rp. >D During which Morgoth corrupted Feanor with SEX despite the prevalence of FLAMING ROWS in this relationship. Also, there is much screaming, swearing of obscenities and flying crockery. biggrin So much LOVE for Zak's Feanor, REALLY~!

5)The second part of the rp included Morgoth taking over Middle Earth or trying to, with Feanor at his side and the Noldor as a NEUTRAL NATION, UNHAMPERED BY ALLEGIANCES TO EITHER THE VALAR OR MORGOTH, since Feanor never liked the Valar anyway, and he is currently high king of the Noldor and well... he keeps kicking Morgoth out to sleep on the couch when Morgoth ends up killing a Noldor.

6) THE NOLDOR AND OTHERS ARRIVED IN MIDDLE EARTH VERY LATE.
The Teleri built them less attractive ships, I think. biggrin
ALSO:
The humans were ALREADY all over the place! With CITIES and everything! AND SO WERE THE DWARVES!

SO. Elves+ Dwarves+ Humans + Morgoth's forces including balrogs, dragons, minions = CHAOS.

Glorfindel

User Image

OTHER IMAGE REFS:
User ImageUser Image

Googled Info:

Glorfindel was blond, as his very name says. Among the Ñoldor, blond hair was generally only found among the descendants of Indis the Vanya, the second wife of their High King Finwë — namely the Golden House of Finarfin, his third son (which included Galadriel). Therefore Glorfindel may have been a member of the royal house (which somehow Tolkien never accounted for), or (more probably and easier to accept) somewhere in his family line there is Vanyarin blood, such as through his mother (which would account for his being blonde and still allow him to be counted among the Ñoldor). Both the Vanyar and Ñoldor kindreds lived in the fair city Tirion upon the hill of Túna in Valinor for a time, and in other parts of the royal family tree it has been shown that other Vanyar married in, so it is conceivable that the two sects mingled in more than just the royal line.

Hero of the First Age

Glorfindel first comes into the legendarium during the Fall of Gondolin and is especially prominent in the account of the escape of Tuor, Idril, Eärendil and many others from the destruction of that city in the First Age. He is Lord of the House of the Golden Flower, known as one of King Turgon's chief lieutenants and one of the most beloved Elves in all Gondolin. When Morgoth's forces first invade his home, Glorfindel leads his men out to flank the enemy and cut through their ranks. When they themselves are flanked, his men suffer heavy losses. Sending for help, Turgon orders Salgant to take the House of the Harp and assist Glorfindel. Salgant, being in allegiance with Maeglin the Traitor, does not relay the message and instead directs his men to the other side of the city and to safety. Thus Glorfindel has few men left of his house when he meets up with the princess, her husband, and their half-elven child. The survivors escape through the Encircling Mountains above Gondolin, and make it to the Eagles' Cleft. When the escapees are ambushed by a company of Orcs led by a terrible Balrog, Glorfindel leaps at the demon with all his might and battles him atop a rocky pinnacle. The duel rages as the rest can only watch in horror. Fiercely defending the women and children who are being led out of the hills, Glorfindel drives the Balrog back, hewing off its whip wielding arm at the elbow. Just when it seems the struggle is about to be won, the beast grabs Glorfindel's golden hair, and both fall off the peak. As they plummet, Glorfindel strikes a final blow by stabbing the demon in its stomach with a knife. The great Eagles see what is happening in the Eagles' Cleft near their eyries and come to the aid of their Elven friends, swooping down on the Orcs and making it possible for the refugees to escape. Glorfindel's body is recovered from the crags by none other than Thorondor, Lord of Eagles himself, and the Elves lay the lord to rest in a mound of stones, where afterwards green grass and yellow flowers appear. Ever after, when a battle of surpassing skill and courage was witnessed, Elves were heard to say "Ai! 'Tis Glorfindel and the Balrog!" in remembrance of his heroism.

Resurrection and return

Re-embodied in Valinor, as is the norm for Elves, Glorfindel spends hundreds of years there and finally wishes to return to Middle-earth. He is granted permission by the Valar for his self-sacrifice in order to keep Eärendil alive and for helping to fullfill the designs of the Powers. Glorfindel departs the Undying Lands sometime in the middle of the Second Age (while Sauron is rising to power and before the Breaking of the World) and sails back by Númenórean ship.[citation needed] The Valar hope he, with the powers he has gained through his self-sacrifice, re-embodiment, and divine tutelage, can help Gil-galad and Elrond oppose the new Dark Lord. Only afterwards do the Valar realize that it is necessary to send their own kind in the guise of Wizards to repel this threat (although some evidence exists that Glorfindel and the Blue Wizards may have come to Middle-earth together, see below).

Hero of the Third Age

Glorfindel reappears during the Third Age, leading the Elvish forces of Rivendell, the Grey Havens, and Lothlórien at the Battle of Fornost. There he fights alongside Eärnur, leading the Gondorian troops and the remnants of the Arnorians. When the Witch-King, Lord of the Nazgûl rides out to defend his realm of Angmar, his presence spooks Eärnur's horse and sends the king backwards, and the Lord of the Nazgûl mocks him for this. Glorfindel returns the favor by confronting the Witch-King, who sees the mighty Elf-lord and flees into the night. Eärnur wishes to pursue the Morgul Lord, but Glorfindel bids him not go after the enemy and speaks his prophecy.

Later he is sent by Elrond to help Frodo reach Rivendell, as told in The Fellowship of the Ring. He sets Frodo on his horse, Asfaloth, and Frodo rides ahead to the other side of the Ford of Bruinen, where he defies his Nazgûl pursuers. He is nearly captured, but Glorfindel, Strider and the other hobbits come up from behind and drive the Black Riders into the water, where they are swept away by a wave of water resembling charging horses (an enchantment of Elrond and Gandalf's). Strider and the hobbits bear torches, but Glorfindel reveals himself as a mighty Elf-lord terrible in his wrath; Frodo sees him as a shining figure. Later, when Frodo asks about the safety of Imladris from Sauron's forces, Gandalf explains that "in Rivendell there live still some of his chief foes: the Elven-wise, lords of the Eldar from beyond the furthest seas. They do not fear the Ringwraiths, for those who have dwelt in the Blessed Realm live at once in both worlds, and against both the Seen and the Unseen they have great power." Gandalf points to Glorfindel as one of these, saying he is "one of the mighty of the Firstborn," "an Elf-lord of a house of princes."

DIVERGENCE:
1) The Vanyarin and other elves came to Middle Earth late, and there was no kinslaying. @_@ Glorfindel came with Turgon, and Golndolin was still founded. Glorfindel was still Lord of the House of the Golden Flower.

The human, Tuor, never made it to Gondolin. He was killed en-route.
No warning ever came to Gondolin so when Balrogs were sent against the city, and when Maeglin* betrayed it, it was a surprise attack.

*Maeglin is still the son of Eol and Aredhel. @_@ Still in love with Cerebrindal, and as such is currently working for Morgoth since Morgoth promised to let him have Idril once Gondolin was destroyed.

This promise was honored and Idril was given to Maeglin as part of the spoils of war. Morgoth also spared Aredhel and Eol.*

Lust was on hire, working with the Balrogs at that point, as a mercenary. He works for Djibril, and Djibril had been working with Morgoth at that point in exchange for a share of the spoils, which included leaves, flowers and fruits from the two Trees, artifacts of Noldor craft in cloth, wood, stone, gems, glass, metals and clay.

Lust engaged Glorfindel in combat where the Balrog should have been.
But unlike the Balrog, Lust WON. and took Glorfindel home as his share of the spoils, intending to keep him as a bed slave.

Regardless of his alignment, Lust is NOT the type to torture or physically injure his bedmates. He took Glorfindel to bed, intending to not damage him because he wanted to keep him. He ended up being fascinated by Glorfindel and wanting more than he should have.

The rest... is on the next page in the form of rp journal posts.

Currently being courted by Lust, but he seems to have no feelings towards him whatsoever. Except maybe anger and possibly hatred. He desired Ecthelion, but Ecthelion is dead. Is currently friends with Erestor, Elrond and Thranduil.

Maedhros

User Image

Googled Info:

Maedhros was the first son of Fëanor and Nerdanel. He had auburn hair, which was inherited from his mother’s kin — specifically, his grandfather, Mahtan, whom Maedhros was said to be alike in face and disposition — and a tremendous height, earning him the appelation, the Tall. In Quenya, he was also known as Nelyafinwë, which was his father name for “Finwë the third [in succession]"; Maitimo, his mother name for “well-shaped one”, for he was noted for his comeliness; and Russandol “copper-top”, an affectionate nickname used by his friends and family.

Maedhros was born to Fëanor and Nerdanel during the Years of the Trees in Aman. He was the eldest and the most diplomatic of their seven sons: Maglor, Celegorm, Caranthir, Curufin; and twins Amras and Amrod. With their father, they often travelled far and wide in Valinor, always seeking the unknown.

During this time, Maedhros befriended Fingon, son of Fingolfin, whose family Fëanor had no love for. The friendship of Maedhros and Fingon proved to be true and lasted their entire lives.

Following his father’s banishment from Tirion, Maedhros lived in Formenos with his family. They returned to Tirion, however, after Maedhros brought tidings of Finwë’s murder and the theft of the Silmarilli to his father and Manwë. Fëanor’s fiery words led the Ñoldor to Middle-earth and the Fëanorians to swear their father’s terrible oath to pursue anyone who kept the Silmarilli from their possession.

Although he participated in the Kinslaying at Alqualondë, he stood aside at the burning of the ships at Losgar; for when Fëanor and his sons secretly sailed to Middle-earth, Maedhros had thought they would return for Fingolfin and his host.

Although Fëanor was killed in the Dagor-nuin-Giliath,
Morgoth's forces suffered a crushing defeat. He sent peace emissaries and Maedhros agreed to treat with them. He brought more forces than had been agreed to the parley — for Maedhros was not fooled by Morgoth’s peace offers, but unknown to him, Balrogs were among Morgoth’s party, and the Elven company was overwhelmed. Maedhros was taken captive and hung by the wrist of his right hand upon Thangorodrim in great pain. For many years, he languished there while Fingolfin brought his hosts into Middle-earth. Fingon found him, but Maedhros begged his friend to end his torment by shooting him with his bow. However, with the help of Thorondor, Fingon was able to free him though he was forced to cut off Maedhros’s right hand in the process. This daring rescue, along with Maedhros’s repentance for the desertion of Fingolfin's hosts in Araman and relinquishment of his claim as Finwë’s heir to kingship over all the Ñoldor in favour of his uncle (which last caused the Fëanorians to be known as “the Dispossessed”), did much to repair the ill feelings between the House of Fingolfin and the House of Fëanor.

His brothers, however, were not all pleased by their eldest brother’s actions, and Maedhros, sensing that they would cause feuds with their kinsmen, moved them out of Mithrim and to the lands around the Hill of Himring, which became known as the March of Maedhros. Allied with Fingolfin, he won the battle of Dagor Aglareb and set the Siege of Angband. The siege was broken, however, in the Dagor Bragollach in which many Elven kingdoms were destroyed. Due to Maedhros's valour and deadly skill with the sword, Himring was successfully defended, though it was surrounded by the enemy. This led many of the survivors from East Beleriand and Dorthonion to rally to Maedhros.

Taking hope upon hearing the deeds of Beren and Lúthien, he gathered his brothers, and united with other Elven Houses to create the Union of Maedhros, an alliance of Elves, Men, and Dwarves to drive the Orcs from Beleriand and lay siege to Morgoth’s fortress of Angband. Under his leadership, the Union won several battles and regained the territory lost in the Dagor Bragollach. When the joint attack on Angband itself was to be launched, Maedhros was delayed due to the treachery of an Easterling, Uldor the Accursed, who was a spy of Morgoth in the service of Caranthir, and the forces of the Union were utterly destroyed in the Nirnaeth Arnoediad. Himring was taken by the Orcs and the Sons of Fëanor were wounded. They retreated to Mount Dolmed, and eventually came to live with the Nandor in Ossiriand.

The brothers learnt of the possession of the Silmaril recovered by Beren and Lúthien in the hands of Dior, the new King of Doriath. Maedhros restrained his brothers’ urge to attack, and instead, sent a message to Dior demanding that he yield the Silmaril to them, but Dior ignored it. Celegorm’s words convinced the Fëanorians to launch an assault. Dior was killed and the brothers emerged victorious. Upon learning that Celegorm’s servants had sent Dior’s twin sons, Eluréd and Elurín, to starve in a dark forest, Maedhros went on a long search for them, but it proved to be fruitless.

Maedhros and his surviving brothers then dwelt on Amon Ereb in East Beleriand. When they heard that Elwing, who had escaped from Doriath with the Silmaril, was now living at the Havens of Sirion. Maedhros, repenting of his deeds at Doriath, foreswore his oath and counselled against trying to regain the jewel by force. But the unfulfillment of the oath came to torment the brothers heavily, so they sent messages of friendship but with firm demands to surrender the Silmaril. However, the people refused, arguing that they could not negotiate while their leader and Elwing's husband, Eärendil, were away at sea. The Fëanorians attacked Sirion — but Elwing cast herself and the jewel into the sea and they did not gain what they sought. Elwing was ultimately rescued by the power of Ulmo and reunited with Eärendil in the West.

After the War of Wrath, Maedhros and Maglor, the last of the sons of Fëanor, told Eönwë that the remaining two Silmarils captured from Morgoth should be given to them, but Eönwë replied that the Silmarils would not suffer them to hold them and that the brothers had to face judgement from the Valar in Aman. Maglor was willing to listen, but Maedhros reminded Maglor that in their oath, they had sworn that none, even the Valar, could release them from their oath, and because of this, it would curse them into committing evil deeds in Aman. Resigned, the brothers stole the Silmarils, but the jewels burned their hands. Unable to endure the suffering, Maedhros threw himself, and the Silmaril that he bore, into a fiery chasm of the Earth, thus ending his life.

Mandos

User Image

Googled Info:
ntroduction:
The Lord of Doom's name in Valinor is Namo, and his place is called Mandos. He is most often called by that place name as are many lords.
Namo is fifth of the seven Lords of the Valar, sixth of the eight Aratar.
Mandos is Lord of Doom (as in destiny in the Afterlife) for the true Children of Eru. The Firstborn, the Elves, who tire of Middle Earth or who die, go to Mandos, to the Houses of the Dead; from there, they may be reborn into Valinor or, in special cases, returned to Middle-earth. The Secondborn, the Humans, stop in Mandos to reflect on their lives before going to the Void to be with Eru. The adopted children of Eru, the Dwarves, however, go to the Halls of Aule, their maker.
Singer of What is to Come, Mandos is also Lord of Doom as in destiny in Life, rarely telling what will happen, but when he speaks, it behooves all to listen! He often knows the future, at least in part. If he pronounces a "curse", it becomes the doom or fate.
His younger brother is Irmo, Lord of Lorien and of dreams, which are the "little death".
Their sister is Nienna who has and can give the ability to feel pity. She or her gift is sometimes referred to as "Pity"; note when Gandalf capitalizes this word.
Namo's wife is Vaire who shows the future in the tapestries she weaves and hangs in their Hall.

Feanor

User Image

Googled Info:
Finwe then begot a child by Miriel, also called Serinde, 'the Broideress,' and they called him Curufinwe, though in later days and in the lore of Middle-earth he is called Feanor, 'Spirit of Fire.' After the birth of Feanor, however, the spirit of Miriel was tired from the birth of such a one (for Feanor is, indeed, among the greatest of the Eldar, though his story be of the most sorrow) and she left her body in Lorien and dwelt ever after in the halls of Mandos.

Feanor grew and became the greatest craftsman in all the days of the world under the tutelage of Aule, the Smith and he wrought the Silmarilli, which held in them the light of the two trees of Aman, Telperion and Laurelin as well as the 'Palantiri,'the great 'seeing stones'. He also perfected the Tengwar, the Alphabet of Feanor, which was but a bettering of the works of Rumil of Tirion, who first developed a method for the recording of words and song. Feanor had seven children in the time of his dwelling in Aman. They are: Maedhros, the tall; Maglor, the mighty singer; Celegorm, the fair; Caranthir, the dark; Curufin, the crafty; and the twins Amrod and Amras.

Melkor was unchained after one age of imprisonment in the halls of Mandos from which none escape, and he walked about Aman in seeming friendship with the Eldar, though he hated them in his heart. In that time he spread among the Noldor seeds of hatred, and discord arose amongst the Noldor. Feanor was the leader of this uprising (though in words only) against the Valar and upon the baring of a blade on his half-brother Fingolfin he was banished from Tirion upon Tuna and with his father and sons dwelt in Formenos, the 'Northern Fortress,' where he hoarded his wealth of fine jewels including the precious Silmarils.

When the secret meddling of Melkor was discovered, he fled from the Valar and came to Avathar and enlisted the help of Ungoliant with whom he returned to Valinor and extinguished the light of the trees upon Ezellohar. The Valar asked Feanor if he would surrender the Silmarils, for only with the light trapped in these could the trees be saved, but he refused; however, Melkor came in his flight to Formenos where he slew the king Finwe and stole the jewels of Feanor, including the Silmarils. When Feanor heard of this, he was distraught and swore the Oath of the 'Feanoreans' with his sons in the year 2991.

Thus, the Noldor fled from Aman after Melkor, who was named by Feanor as he was forever after called Morgoth, 'the Dark Enemy of the World.' However as there was no way for the Noldor to escape Aman and come to Middle Earth, they went to the isle of Tol Eressea and the city of Alqualande where the Teleri dwelt to seek ships by which to travel there. The Teleri, however, would not give up their ships and so blood was spilt between the Noldor and the Teleri and this was called the Kinslaying and is counted among the most vile acts of the Noldor. Indeed, as the Noldor sailed into the East, a great shadow was raised behind them that blocked forever their return to the Blessed Realm. And when they arrived on the shores of Middle-earth, it is said that Ulmo himself laid a doom upon the Noldor that their lives would be plaugued by blood and toment and grief as they had given to their kin at Alqualande and only evil would come of their works. The house of Feanor was forever in the wrath of the Valar and it would be called 'the Dispossessed'. This was the doom handed down from the Valar, what is called 'the Doom of the Noldor.'

After a long journey which included further vile deeds on the part of Feanor and his sons which included the abandoning of Fingolfin in Araman, Feanor and his sons reached the Firth of Drengist and Lammoth where they burnt the ships of the Teleri at Losgar.

Feanor was slain soon after this by Gothmog, Lord of Balrogs during 'Dagor-nuin-Giliath', the 'Battle Under the Stars.'

Googled Info:

The Name

"Morgoth Bauglir" is actually an epithet. His name as first mentioned in Ainulindalë (the creation story of Middle-earth and first section of The Silmarillion) is Melkor. But this too is an epithet since he, like all the Ainur, has another true name in Valarin (the language of the Ainur before Time), but this name is not recorded.

The name Morgoth Bauglir can be translated as “Dark Enemy Tyrant", or "Oppressor of the Dreadful Dark". Morgoth comes from Ñoldorin for "The Dark Enemy" or "Dreadful Dark" (roots MOR - black, dark, shadow; and GOS/GOTH - dread, terror), and Bauglir is Ñoldorin for "Tyrant" or "Oppressor" (root MBAW - compel, force, subject, oppress).

The character is not properly called ‘Morgoth’ until he is given the name by Fëanor of the Ñoldor. This occurs in the First Age, after Melkor escapes Valinor. Prior to this point, he is only called Melkor. (see "History" below).

In the course of the literary development of his legendarium, Tolkien altered both the conception of this fallen Ainu and his name. Aside from the special name given him by the Ñoldor (Morgoth), he has been called, in various tales (in various versions) 'Melko', 'Belcha', 'Melegor' and 'Meleko'. The Sindarin form of his name was 'Belegur', which was never used except in the altered form 'Belegurth', meaning 'Great Death'.

His name in its most 'removed' form (common Eldarin) was 'mbelekôro'. ['Arises in Might' (roots BEL - strong; and KHOR - set going, put in motion).] All these name-versions are etymologically consistent with the 'Melkor' used in 'The Silmarillion'.

Morgoth’s History

Ainulindalë

Before the creation of Arda (The World), Melkor was the most powerful of the Ainur. Like an unusually precocious and arrogant child, Melkor contended with the Creator, Eru, via the Music of the Ainur. Melkor was jealous of his father, and wanted to create and rule other wills himself. He spent a long time looking for the Secret Fire (also called the "Flame Imperishable").

Unlike his fellow-Ainu Aulë, Melkor was too proud to admit that his creations were simply discoveries wholly made possible by, and therefore "belonging" to, Eru. Instead, Melkor aspired to the level of Eru; the true Creator of all possibilities.

During the Great Music of the Ainur, Melkor attempted to alter the Music and introduce what he believed to be elements purely of his own design. As part of these efforts, he managed to draw many weaker-willed Ainur to him - creating a counter-theme to Eru's main theme. Ironically, these attempts could not, as he hoped, truly subvert the Music, but rather could only further elaborate and beautify Eru’s original intentions: the Music of Eru took on a depth and beauty precisely because of the strife and sadness Melkor's disharmonies (and their rectification) introduced.

Since the Great Music of the Ainur stands as template for all of history and all of material creation in the Middle-earth cycle (it was first sung before Time, and then the universe was made in its image), there is an aspect of everything in Middle-earth that comes of Melkor's meddling – everything has been somewhat polluted.

Quenta Silmarillion

After the Creation, many Ainur entered into Eä. These came to be called the Valar (the most powerful ‘class’ of Ainur in the World, of whom the 'legitimate' King is Melkor's brother, Manwë) and the Maiar (Ainur of lesser rank and power). They immediately set about building the Universe, and they attempted to manifest Arda according to the Music. But Melkor and his followers entered Eä as well, and they set about trying to ruin and undo whatever the others did.

Melkor’s 'natural province' (if it can be called that) is in the area of terrible extremes and violence - bitter cold, scorching heats, quakes, rendings, breakings, utter darkness, ghastly cold-burning light etc. He exerted his force (which was very great at that time) in whatever way he could; yet, at every step, he was opposed by the other Valar, who struggled greatly to contain him.

Ultimately, Melkor and his followers descended in magnificent fashion into Arda, and attacked and destroyed the Two Lamps (precursors to the Two Trees and the Sun and Moon). In the process, Arda was plunged into darkness, and Almaren, the first home of the Valar on Earth, was destroyed.

After the fall of the Lamps, the Valar retreated and made Valinor in the West. Melkor held dominion over Middle-earth from his fortress of Utumno in the North.

Melkor's first reign ended after the Elves awoke at the shores of Cuiviénen, and the Valar resolved to rescue them from his malice. With best intentions, the Valar made immediate and devastating war on Melkor, and he was brought to Valinor in chains to serve a term in the Halls of Mandos for three Ages.

It is rumoured (in some versions of the story) that Melkor actually captured some Elves before the Valar came to rescue them, and he tortured and perverted them, producing the first Orcs. But other versions of the story (written both before and after the version that appears in The Silmarillion) discount this, and claim that the Orcs are soulless beings animated solely by the will of their evil lord (be it Melkor or, later, Sauron), which explains why they collapse and retreat in battle should the "guiding will" be removed. This latter version falls more in line with the idea of Melkor/Morgoth's dispersal into the world he mars, and with the idea that his creations are mere imitations (i.e., 'Orc' = parody of 'Elf'); it also provides a moral basis for later inhabitants of Middle-earth, who kill Orcs without compassion or compunction. Still, the questions of Orc reproduction and of the possible melding of the races of Orcs and Men must be dealt with - both issues lend credence to the Silmarillion version.

After his three-age sentence was ended, Melkor was released on his own recognizance, yet he was confined to Valinor. He used his newfound freedom to somewhat corrupt the virtue of the Ñoldor (one of the kindred of the Elves that had been relocated to Valinor), to kill Finwë their King, and to steal the Silmarils - jewels that Finwë's son Fëanor made by encasing the light of the Two Trees in an unknown substance. It was Fëanor (for a time himself King of the Ñoldor in Middle-earth) who first named Melkor Morgoth, "The Dark Enemy of the World". After these crimes, and with the aid of Ungoliant, Morgoth destroyed the Two Trees and brought darkness to Valinor.

Back in Middle-earth, Morgoth resumed his reign in the North, this time in Angband, which had not been destroyed as thoroughly by the Valar as had been his main fortress Utumno. Fëanor and most of the Ñoldor pursued him, but not before the Kinslaying and the Doom of Mandos. The rebel Ñoldor arrived in Beleriand and established princedoms and set themselves against Morgoth and his armies, severely restricting them. Immediately afterward, the Sun and the Moon first arose and the race of Men awoke in the World. Several battles ensued, including the Dagor-nuin-Giliath (Battle Under the Stars - fought before the rising of the Moon), Dagor Bragollach (Battle of Sudden Flame), and the Nirnaeth Arnoediad (Battle of Unnumbered Tears) at which the armies of the Eldar and the Edain were utterly defeated and routed. Excepting a few mournful refugees living on or near a bay island off the mouths of Sirion, Morgoth had once again attained the mastery of Middle-earth.

Between and amidst all these events, Beren and Lúthien entered Angband, where they stole one Silmaril from Morgoth’s iron crown. It was a sign that Morgoth's reign was not to last. Eärendil, descended from Elves, Ainur and Men, and bearing this same Silmaril on his brow, managed to sail across the sea to Valinor, where he pleaded with the Valar until they agreed to send an army to vanquish Morgoth and liberate Elves and Men.

During the ensuing War of Wrath, Beleriand and much of the north of Middle-earth was again destroyed/reshaped, yet Morgoth was utterly defeated. He was bound once again with the chain Angainor and he was led to the judgment of the gods. This time, his punishment was final. Melkor/Morgoth's fëa ("spirit", as in "Fëanor” – “spirit of fire") was shut outside the Door of Night forever. He is unable to return until the rumored Final Battle, when he will re-enter Eä, destroy the Sun and the Moon, and with his followers fight a united army of Ainur, Elves and Men. Despite his absence until the End Time, Morgoth's evil remains as "Arda Marred," and his will walks yet with the feet of the living.

Appearance & Characteristics

Ainu Melkor initially could take any shape, but his first recorded form was "...as a mountain that wades in the sea and has its head above the clouds and is clad in ice and crowned with smoke and fire; and the light of the eyes of Melkor was like a flame that withers with heat and pierces with a deadly cold." (Sil, 22) After he had succeeded in alienating the Ñoldor from Valinor and stealing the Silmarils, he descended in the pits of Angband, and his shape eventually became that of the Dark Lord Morgoth: gigantic and terrible to behold. During this time he lost the ability to freely change shape, and in effect became bound to this one, terrible form. His hands had been burned by the theft of the Silmarils, and never healed. The one time he did emerge, to fight High King Fingolfin, he was stabbed seven times, including in the foot, and was left with a permanent limp. That battle also saw Thorondor, the great Eagle, swoop down and scar Morgoth's face with his talons, a wound that also never healed. In battle he wore night-black armor and wielded Grond, the Hammer of the Underworld. He also wielded a black spear, and in early texts a poison sword.

Melkor's powers were originally immense – greater than those of any other single Ainu. He shared a part of the powers of every other Valar, but unlike them used this for his own gain. Because of this, Morgoth dispersed his essence throughout Middle-earth, tainting the very fabric of Arda itself with his will, and he became ever more diminished and restricted.

This diffusion was later emulated in miniature by Morgoth’s servant Sauron who, in creating the One Ring, became far less powerful whenever he was without it. The theme of the creator passing into the thing created is pervasive in Tolkien’s work; the "false" creations of evil beings are never more than a diminution and diffusion of themselves, while Eru's creations are limitless, yet He is never diminished.

Pity was beyond Morgoth’s understanding, as was courage, for he alone of the Valar knew fear.

Politics & followers

Morgoth considered himself "Master of the Fates of Arda," and thought himself the universe's rightful king.

As the mightiest dweller in Arda, many "flocked to his banner." Morgoth's chief servants were certain Maiar he corrupted: Sauron, later the Dark Lord of Mordor and his chief servant; Gothmog, the Lord of Balrogs and High-Captain of Angband; Glaurung, the Father of Dragons; Ancalagon "the Black", greatest of the Winged Dragons; Carcharoth, the mightiest wolf that ever lived (possessed by an evil spirit); Draugluin, Sire of Werewolves; Thuringwethil, Sauron's vampire messenger; and Lungorthin, captain of Angband "security."

When the race of Men awoke, Morgoth (or his servant, depending on text consulted) is said to have temporarily left Angband, to dwell amongst them: some repressed (or tried to forget) tales of a Dark Lord who once led men to worship him, banning Ilúvatar from their hearts. The Atanatári (Fathers of Men), were those Men who repented and fled West toward the rumor of the Valar, but Morgoth and his servants had many legions of fallen Men at his service regardless. (see esp. Morgoth's Ring: Tale of Adanel)

Morgoth is known to have betrayed his own servants: e.g., after the Ñoldor were defeated, he confined all Men in his service to the lands of Hithlum, forbidding them to enter Beleriand, their promised reward. Since Melkor could never fully conquer Men, he could never really trust them. It seems that, once victorious, he would have destroyed them just as he intended to destroy his enemies.

Character development & history

In the early versions of Tolkien's stories, Melkor/Morgoth was not seen as the most powerful Ainu. He is described as being equal in power to Manwë, chief of the Valar in Arda. But Melkor/Morgoth's power increased in later revisions of the story until he became the most powerful Ainu, and then (in a late essay), more powerful than all of the Valar combined. His character thus developed from being a standout among equals (by virtue of his wickedness and rebelliousness), to being invincible with regards to all the others: no created beings in the universe have the power in themselves — alone or united — to utterly defeat Morgoth. Yet, of course, there is One that can (and will) defeat him in the end.

The Silmarillion as published might seem to lean toward the earlier conceptions of Melkor's power; there is less discussion of Melkor/Morgoth's marring of all Arda by diluting himself throughout it. Yet the implication of his "total" power remains clear in his role in Ainulindalë, and it is supported by the important idea (widespread in all the versions) of the passing of something of the creator into the thing created. This is all to say that the strengthening of Melkor/Morgoth's position is wholly consistent with core themes present in all versions.

"The Morgoth"

A distinction is made between Ainu Melkor, most powerful of Eru's created beings, and The Morgoth, the diminished being that styled itself Dark Lord of Arda. This distinction is not limited to a name-change only ('Arises in Might' to 'Dark Enemy').

Melkor's musical disruptions marred the Music of the Ainur in Heaven. Melkor's thematic variations in that Music amounted to his own self-elaboration (each Ainu is, in its conception, the 'concretization' of a divine theme, existing beforehand only in the mind of Eru). Eä, or the World that Is, mirrors the Music. Thus, the evil that Melkor wove into the Music is mirrored in Eä by the evil he weaves into the fabric of reality, as history progresses. Part and parcel with Melkor's inability to perform true creation is the idea that something of his actual being must pass into the things he 'creates', in order to give them an effective substance and reality. That is, he cannot create a new thing — what he can do is create a parody of an already-existing thing by cutting off, as it were, a piece of his own being and using it as the clay to make his false creations. From Trolls to the Sun (which was made from a flower from a Tree poisoned by Ungoliant, and thus is itself imperfect), Melkor's being was diffused throughout the material (and immaterial) universe. As a result, he — in his individuated being — has been diminished. He has been reduced to Morgoth, "Dark Enemy" or, more exactly, "Dreadful Dark." It's almost as if he — as a person — has suffered a reduction to an it.

To distinguish between the greater Melkor that exists both as an individual (Morgoth) and as an element of all being (because he has corrupted, to an extent, everything that comes from the Music of the Ainur, and his being has — as that corruption itself — been diffused throughout material reality), the former came to be called "The Morgoth"

DIVERGENCE:

PERSONAL divergence:

The Silmarillion's Morgoth knows no pity or courage. >D My Morgoth knows both, but is a hermit crab and has little capability to understand or to interact well with people who he views as his inferiors. i.e. elves, men, dwarves, most Valar etc.

He over reacts. Very much so. He especially gets vicious when his pride is struck at. biggrin HOWEVER. My Morgoth CAN and DOEs get attached to people and CAN be...oddly affectionate and loyal, even if he IS completely looney. biggrin

He cares about Feanor. Though it takes him a TON of years to get to the point of admitting it. biggrin

He is LOYAL. Unlike the Morgoth in Silmarillion, this Morgoth knows the value of loyalty and is not one to skimp out on rewards.

Also, he is significantly more laid back than the Morgoth in the Silmarillion. This is probably since the Morgoth in Silmarillion suffered from lack of GOOD SEX.

ALSO. My Morgoth is STILL stronger than any other Valar in Arda or out of it. biggrin LESS diffusion of power, you see, since he didn't bother to make THAT many minions in this AU. NO ORCS. SAURON MADE THE ORCS, NOT MORGOTH.

biggrin The only living physically embodied Valar LEFT are MANDOS, LORIEN and ULMO. biggrin

He managed to kill most of the other Valar's physical bodies after the whole taken into custody and kept in Valinor bit since they got too cocky.

ALSO.
The race of men is evenly split between Morgoth's people and the Valar's followers.

Elaith Craulnober

User Image

Googled Info:
Once captain of Evermeet's royal guard, the moon elf Elaith Craulnober is now a crime lord whose empire is centered in Waterdeep. His early life was full of promise, despite the tragedy that befell his family when he was infant: the Craulnober family was slain by raiders, the ancestral keep burned to a shell. (Story told in Evermeet) Elaith was adopted by Queen Amlaruil and raised as a ward of the royal court. Betrothed to Princess Amnestria and heir to the Craulnober moonblade, Elaith was certain of a bright future. But the sentient sword refused to accept him, and Elaith, stunned by this rejection, left Evermeet. He found his way to Waterdeep and fell in with a band of unsavory adventurers.

Elaith quickly embraced this new life, which gave him the opportunity to use his many talents, and provided an occasional outlet for the rage that simmers just beneath the surface. Elaith's polished demeanor and wry sense of humor tend to disarm those who are unaware of his dark reputation, but he has a streak of cruelty that's deeply rooted in self-loathing. He considers anger preferable to despair, but prefers to project an image of coolly smiling detachment. This persona, coupled with his swift strike, earned him the nickname "Serpent."

The moon elf considers himself to be a lost soul, and he goes about his business accordingly. Yet he retains a certain honor and a strong sense of duty to the royalty of Evermeet. He privately considers Arilyn Moonblade, the half-elven daughter of his lost love Amnestria, to be "his" princess; he treats her with the deference due a liege lady, and he is strongly inclined to slay anyone who troubles her.

This inclination once extended to Danilo Thann, a human bard, whom Elaith named elf-friend (albeit with great reluctance) after Danilo defended Elaith against a false accusation of murder.

Both the bard and the elf are keenly aware of the irony inherent in any notion of Elaith's "innocence," and their friendship, though increasingly genuine, remains somewhat wary.

Danilo Thann

Danilo Thann- Googled Info:

Danilo, when faced by the public, acts like a complete fool. There are moments of intelligence within his mask as a dandy, but very few notice the truth of the matter. Danilo, despite his canny intelligence and skill in subterfuge - is actually quite reckless, a fact brought to because of his alternate "dandy" ego (this is evidenced through his naughty pranks and reckless magical experiments). There are times when Danilo completely forgets his true self and fully reverts into the comfortable guise of the fool. However, when faced with the truly important, Danilo becomes a serious and calculating genius, and a very dangerous adversary.
[edit]

Talents and Abilities

Danilo is a very skilled magician, one whom Khelben had considered his probable heir and his apprentice with the most potential. His skill with magic is such that he mastered the art of Spellsong in just a few days, he was able to charm a magically-resistant dragon to slumber, and his illusionary pranks that get his uncle Khelben each time. His magical skills include prismatic displays of light, fireballs, spells of invisibility, scrying and various charm spells.

Aside from his magic, Danilo is also well versed with subterfuge, disguise, and manipulation. Although less of a pragmatist than his Uncle Khelben, Danilo is still skilled in manipulating the political and social threads in any given situation. His degree of expertise is as such that when he engaged the crimelord Elaith Craulnober in a verbal sparring match - it ended as a draw. His skill may arguably be even better than a drow's - since he once tricked the drow princess, Liriel Baenre (crafty even among her people) into revealing more than she wished to.
[edit]

History

Danilo Thann was always considered the "young dandy" in the house of Thann - as such, even his mother and father never takes him seriously. Despite this reputation, Danilo has been trained by several bardic tutors around the world, one for each bardic tradition. He has also been secretly trained by his uncle, Khelben "Blackstaff" Arunsun.

To the public, Danilo is a novice mage who never seemed to have progressed past some parlor tricks to amuse the nobility - and well-known for many unintentional magical mishaps. The truth of the matter, however, is he is an extremely capable wizard - enough to make Khelben consider him as his most promising apprentice. He maintains the facade as a court dandy as a means to let others underestimate his abilities - thus he hears more information, and becomes a greater agent/informant for the Harpers.

Gromph Baenre

Gromph Baenre -Googled Info:

Gromph is the Archmage of Menzoberranzan; Master of Sorcere, the arcane school; and first son of Matron Baenre, which makes him the most powerful male in the city. Gromph is around seven centuries of age; he appears young, however, as he has a magical amulet containing a piece of a unicorn's horn which prevents him from aging. He wandered for some time and adventured before becoming the "leashed" Archmage of the Council of Eight (the eight ruling houses), according to a decree by Lolth. It is only logical for the Council to keep close watch on the wizards, who are their only real challengers for power, as Archmage Gromph has many responsibilities in the City of Spiders. Foremost, he must energize Narbondel, the huge "clock" of Menzoberannzan. Gromph is one of the few males of the city who has power enough to have almost anything he desires, including the respect of females. Liriel is his daughter by one of his discarded lovers, making her claim to Baenre heritage shakey.

Some consider Gromph the greatest archmage in all the Realms due to his age, but Elminster is more than eleven centuries old and Khelben a few centuries younger than that (both are greater mages than Gromph), so it may be more accurate to list him as a rival in power to the other archmages of the Realms. Recently, and disturbingly, Gromph disappeared at a time when the city most needed him. He was attacked and imprisoned in a magical sphere by an exceedingly powerful lichdrow named Lord Dyrr, the true ruler of House Agrach Dyrr. He managed to escape the sphere with the help of an illithid named Sluuguth, killing the illithid soon afterward.

Rhisiart-Googled Info:

Rhisiart of the house of the Falcon, the Steward-Protector of Armyn, toils ceaselessly protecting the country for his nephew, Kieron, a spoiled, cruel, venomous young man, educated by his maternal uncle, Lord Stiles, and bearing a stronger resemblance to his vain, greedy, icily beautiful mother than to his dead father,Ruane, Rhisiart’s elder brother.

Despite his current position of power, he does not attempt to remove his enemies at court or to even strike back at aforementioned enemies, who are mostly from the Queen, Sulien's, side of the family and those affiliated with her, who thirst for the power that Rhisiart holds in trust for his nephew.

Despite this, he attempts to educate his nephew in good governance and tries to rule Armyn well. His efforts are not appreciated.

He had brothers, known as Miall, Tierce and Ruane. Ruane was the king, and Kieron's father. Miall was half -sidhe, or half- hillfolk, a shapeshifter. Miall left the family due to his inability to handle cold iron and to fight beside them... Rhisiart never knew this was why he disappeared or why he refused to fight and defend the house of the Falcon's claim to the throne.

Tierce was murdered for his attempts to unseat Sulien from power, Ruane died of unexplained causes, and Miall was murdered trying to expose Sulien's son for the fraud he was, an artificial human made from a snake.

Rhisiart, believing that Ruane was angry at him for defending Tierce when he was ordered to exeute him for treason instead, left for the border. He stayed there until his brother called him back and put Kieron in his keeping.

Rhisiart was married, but his wife and child were 'removed' by Sulien, without his knowing.

Currently he is friends with Crocken, a mysterious peddler (serving as host for Miall's shadow remnant) who came into Armyn and saved his niece from a boar, and who helped expose Sulien and Kieron for the traitors they were, leading to Rhisiart's becoming King of Armyn.

The Many Maids:

Anthros who model gowns and basically manage things around the tower.

If this were Ragnarok Online. they'd be the Kafras.
If this were Evangelion, they would be the people at the consoles.

Here, they are medics, seamstresses and models.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

These are some of the rooms in the tower Dji's settled in.
Bear in mind... There are MANY. MANY DOORS in this tower and most of them lead into other environments.

Some Rooms in the Tower

Yet More Rooms

If the rooms are empty, for now, that's ok. They'll fill up later.

Updates:
So far, Dji has a lot of extra space. @_@ She took three dimensional doors leading to different suites of rooms and environments. This is plenty of space.

Infi and her anthros and er... other companions (dewis and all) have claimed a dimensional door that leads to a wing of rooms. @_@

Melomar and her anthros have claimed a dimensional door leading to a wing as well. @_@

And Aria has claimed the dimensional door with the wing that adjoins to Melomar's place so she can be with Tol.

Ah, true love.. or at least lust. rofl

MtNevermind's Raistlin's claimed one of the tower's seperate environments, which opens to another tower within this one.. and MtNevermind himself and his other anthros live in a set of rooms that is next to Raistlin's door... that set of rooms is the LOUDEST of all.

Thank God for soundproofing, is all I can say...

Info:
These are items/pets that my anthros and rp characters use or own.
@_@ Many of them are SMALLER than actual size to prevent theft. biggrin
Also, to make them the appropriate size for an anthro to use. Only those in the 'freebies' post are guarranteed full size. the others.. you'll have to guess which are or aren't smaller than they should be.
