heart I'm just thrilled this is finally being animated! Ryoori bought me one beautiful shitajiki of it as a present for me, and I fell in love instantly.
The March issue of Newtype has an article on it, for those interested. 3nodding
Anywho - let's discuss it! I personally enjoy the fact that for once, the main character himself is a catboy. whee

O.O; I have seen the scanlations of the first volume of Loveless Manga...it was confusing...and the relationship between Ritsuka and Soubi is quite strange... sweatdrop

3nodding I think the set-up is a little odd.
But honestly, Ritsuka is so fricking cute I'd watch it no matter what the story. Which is pretty bad. I'm an English - I live for good writing. But for a catboy that cute, I'll forgive a badly lad plot.
Still, it is by Yun Kouga. I adored Earthian and wish they'd bring her work to the states.

Lol xd Finished reading the scanlations of the second volume... *finds one scene really, really cute xd * 'course I don't find Yuiko annoying *I pitied her at first* but I do find Yayoi a bit irritating... *he called Ritsuka short even if he is also short xd xd *

Thought I'd type up the newest artice for Loveless in the Newtype Magazine for ya Shiroi!
PRODUCTION IS UNDERWAY on an anime adaptation of Yun Kouga's much- talked-about manga LOVELESS (currently running in Gekkan Comic ZERO-SUM).
In the futuristic world of LOVELESS, people are born with cat ears and fuzzy tails that they lose when they become adults. Sixth-grader Ritsuka Aoyagi, who still sports his feline features, has a tough life. His brother Seimei was killed two years ago, and with his death, Ritsuka lost the one person who truly understands him. A weird guy named Sobi Agatsuma now claims to be Seimei's "fighter." A fighter serves a "sacrifice", using spoken spells to protect them from enemy attacks. Ritsuka's brother was Sobi's sacrifice, and Sobi wants Ritsuka to take his brother's place. After learning that Seimei was killed by a mysterious organization known as the Septimal Moon, Ritsuka agrees to become Sobi's sacrifice in hopes of getting to the bottom of his brother's murder.
Each fighter-sacrifice has a special name. In an ironic twist, SObi and Seimei's name was "Beloved", but Sobi and Ritsuka's is "Loveless". Once Ritsuka pairs up with Sobi, he finds himself locked in combat with other sacrifices and their fighters.

NEWEST? They wrote another one on it? Saa. That issue doesn't have more Sukisyo too does it? With those two coming out I have this horrible feeling I'm going to be buying more Newtypes. Hehe - anywho, thanks for typing the article Ryoori!

Oooh first post... surprised One of my buddies told me about Loveless a while ago, isn't it that they lose their feline features when they have intercourse? I'm a sucker for the main guy, Ritsuka.
