Mosi exhaled tiredly from where she lay sunning. She was tired. Why? She'd been sleeping better, but still felt mentally drained come morning, even when she slept in till high-sun! Was she sick? Her brother was starting to wonder.
She'd been having odd dreams now, nothing really special just, odd. For one, she normally couldn't even remember what she dreamed about, but now everything was gradually staying with her in more and more focused detail.
Two nights ago she'd dreamed about clouds, grasslands, a small, strange colored lion with black stripes on top of a murky brown pelt, and a bird she'd never seen before with sharp talons and a curved short beak. None of it made much sense, why the three of them were in this dream together, but whatever.
Her reflection stared back up at her just as passively unimpressed as you please, matching her expression for expression.

Coming up behind Mosi, Bari looked just as tired. However, it didn't mean the little mocha fuzzball wouldn't could with the name callings towards the darker female. "Still here Rogue?" She snarled slightly, swaying back and forth as she sat down behind the female. The mocha female looked to be slightly taller than Mosi, if only by a few inches.
"I'd expect you have left already with them parents of yours." She snorted, not mentioning about the black pridelander's sibling. In fact, Bari didn't know that Jini was related to Mosi. It'd come off as a suprise to her probably if she found out.
Moving around the seer cub, Bari placed her paws in the water, intentionally trying to splash the 'rogue'. It ruined the perfectly imaged reflection that matched it's creator. The daughter of Denahi only smirked. "Oh, I'm sorry. Did I get you wet?" ((I'm assuming they are at/near the waterhole? xd ; ))

Mosi shot a tired irritated and blank stare at the horizon. Geez... just what she needed, Ezeoha's "evil" sister.
Water splashing her in the eyes, Mosi sputtered a bit, pawing at her face in an attempt to dry it off with a soft growl.
"Don't you have something better to do? Like playing in a crocodile's mouth?"
... Hmph.
Mosi got up and shifted as if to turn away from Bari, but instead threw her weight sideways to bump forcefully into the other, hoping to knock her into the water as payback. She was prepared to make a jump for the bank if her plan fell through, and prepared for the consequences that might follow if they didn't.

"Playing in a crocodile's mouth? Sound's like fun, perhaps you should go try it sometime and tell me if it really is." The female's tail flicked, shifting her whole body as it moved. "Besides, what's could be any more fun than tormenting you, and trying to get your rogue family out of my lands." Why did her gran-ma and gran-pa have to except those creatures into these lands?
Although she was bigger than Mosi, it didn't mean she couldn't be off balanced so easily. As mentioned earlier, she was a bit tired, so the simple movements caused her to topple over slightly in the water. A high growl emitted from her throat as water dripped from her body.
Bari hissed, baring her fangs. "Oh, you'll pay!" She growled, lunging out of the water and towards Mosi. To any onlooker, it'd looked like these two cubs were just play fighting. But if they happened to know that these two seemed to despise each other, perhaps things would be a different outcome?

Mosi hissed, ears instantly going flat to her skull and her own fangs baring defensively. Her body crouched low to the ground in instinctive preparation for the attack and then there was impact. The force was certainly enough to send them both flailing backwards into the water.
"Getoff!!" She snarled, pushing at the other and trying to gain the upper hand.

"Why, so you can just push me into the water again?" By now, it didn't really matter that water had already been dripping from her body. Her eyes burned with the same anger her father once held for those he'd met. Bari hissed, biting at Mosi before pouncing off of her. Who said they were not to play fair? The mocha female was one of pride, so she wasn't going to get her way by cheating.
Lowering herself to the ground, her eyes narrowed. "Come on rogue. Come get me" She taunted, smirking ever so much.

Mosi hissed again as the bite of Bari's fangs found her ear roughly. The dark female swung a paw with the intention of boxing Bari in the head, but found only empty air as the other had already begun removing her body from Mosi's.
Mosi was tired. She didn't really feel like fighting, but Bari had pushed her again with the rogue nickname.
Snarling low in her throat, Mosi's claws flexed as she righted herself, scowling dangerously at the other.
"Better a rogue than a wanna be princess." She hissed with a humorless smirk, not taking the bait. She would not give Bari the chance to reverse her momentum-- as she had done to Ezeoha what felt like so many times before now. She snorted and swept a paw forward, sending more water at the other instead, as if she didn't take her seriously. "Why don't you take your 'pure blooded' tail back to Pride Rock?"

Bari was enjoying the way Mosi had reacted to her. A brief smirk, one that could've been found on the equivalent of Denahi when he had been a cub and juvenille, crossed her maw as the black and white female snarled. "Aww, is the poor rogue getting angry at the ickle princess now?" the youth asked, swaying a bit in a mocking sort of manner. The mocha female never knew when to quit.
Her smirk fell instantly to a frown, as a paw reached to cover her eyes from the attacking water. She growled, ears flicking against her skull at Mosi's comment. "I will go back to Pride Rock when the Rogues like you no longer roam there." She sneered, stalking towards Mosi.

"Well then, in that case I hope you don't miss home too much, because Ezeoha's already invited me to spend the night there!" She smirked, knowing that was bound to get further under Bari's skin. She didn't care if she got hurt, it'd be worth it to get that smug expression off of the princess' face. Mosi stood her ground, feeling a tingle in the back of her mind all of a sudden, though nothing came of it.
The undiscovered seer only allowed Bari so much leeway, falling into her own stalking-walk to circle the other, refusing to let her guard down. It was her turn to smirk, shockingly enough despite their size difference.
"These are free lands, my parents told me already what your grandmother was like, so you'd better get used to seeing rogues around here 'little, miss, priss'."

"Not in /my/ den you aren't." She growled, closing the space between the two females. Mosi was right, those words did get under her skin a lot. There was no way in hell she was going to be staying anywhere NEAR the den! Her frown increased on her maw. Both of these children needed to be put into their own seperate corners for a day...or perhaps locked in a closed area and let them somehow fight it out until they magically became friends!
Then, a thought had come to her mind. Mosi had a brother...didn't she? Yeah..the strange brownish male who wanted to play with her? A smirk appeared on her maw once again as she stopped her advances. "You know, Rogue." She started. "I would watch what you say to me. Your brother...Jini, isn't it? likes to play? Well..if you go near my brother again, I will make sure he will just 'play' himself into the firekin lands, and used as a chewtoy." She growled. Her father told her stories of those lands, seeing as he had been apart of them at one time.

Oh, that did it. There was no faster way to get to Mosi's hot spot than threatening her family, her baby brother to be specific. Just the idea that anyone would hurt him drove her mad! He was the sweetest little guy anyone could meet, and even though she thought he was too nice for HIS own good she certainly didn't fault him for being kind and unjudgemental. She'd tried to give Bari a chance, but she couldn't get past her exterior, biting attitude.
"You leave my brother OUT OF THIS!!" She snarled, face a mask of fury as she lunged in an attempt fully intent to tackle the other to the ground as hard as she could, even as she shouted the words. She didn't care if Bari was a little older or a little bigger than her (not by much, but still, a difference was a difference), she'd teach her not to threaten her sibling! "If you lay so much as a PAW on Jini I'll SHOW you what a rogue can do!"

YES! That worked...a little too well though! Bari didn't have time to think as she felt herself being thrown to the ground by the smaller black female. A bit dazed, her teal eyes focused into the blazing gold fury of Mosi's. What would have scared probably any other lion, it didn't her. It just made her little head swell.
"I guess that means you'll have to have an eye on him at all times now, won't it?" Bari smirked, baring his small canine fangs. "After all, if you don't, then you will never know when I will STRIKE!" She snarled, her maw lifting to grab onto Mosi's nearest limb, which happened to be her arm.

Mosi let out an infuriated yowl as Bari's fangs bit into her foreleg. The black youth grit her teeth and folded her ears back again.
"That won't be a problem if I kick your a** enough that you can't see straight!"
That said she also lunged, biting down on Bari's now exposed neck, though their teeth were too small yet to do as much damage as a full adult, or even an adolescent. It would hurt, but it wouldn't kill Bari, not that Mosi cared either way. She was blinded by rage at the moment.

"Maybe not seeing straight would be a good thing, so I don't have to see you ugly mug!" She said, inbetween her grasp on Mosi's forearm. As she was attacked and bitten on her neck, her bite on the black cub was let go immediately, a pained fill cry emitting from her throat. Sharp pointy objects (though small in size) really did hurt... a lot. "LET GO!" She yowled, her limbs flailing about beneath the black female.

Since it was only Mosi's intention, really, to get Bari off of her leg the little black female released her grip as Bari shouted, jumping back quickly and glaring at her. Her streaked tail lashed angrily behind her as if her eyes weren't testimant enough of that emotion. By now her back paws were in the water again, but Mosi didn't show signs of caring.
"You stay away from Jini!! I'll make you wish you never pissed me off, otherwise!" She shouted, panting softly due to her heart beating so boldly against her little chest.
