I have discovered why women were submissive to men way back when. Due to the fashions of the day they couldn't do anything. Yeah... My ribs hurt. My friend's boyfriend tried to pay aa guy to lock us in "the tower" so we ran for it. But it was tons of fun. We saw the 15 minute version of Romeo & Juliet. It was hilarious. I forgot the camera, but thats ok because my dress wasn't quite done.
Its a two day event so hopefully we'll get the dress done and take pictures tomorrow.

Ren Faire, part II:
(this was a big day for me so just deal while I rant)
So I didn't get any homework done, but I did have a great 2nd day at Ren Faire. It was even better than the first and I think I'm getting used to the bodice because my ribs don't hurt as much as they did. My friend's pseudo boyfriend still didn't enjoy himself, but he wasn't as much of a drag as he was the first day. He bought me this absolutely gorgeous hair clip (I'll upload pictures of it when they get developed) which absolutely loved, but I found a little bit weird (since he's supposedly in love with my friend). But my other friend was there and he left early so us three little women went wandering around the ren faire. We met a guy named John. He was really friendly and my friend got his number which made her feel better about the situation with her pseudo boyfriend. He also fought my other friend with wooden practice swords. After he finished instructing her, she kicked a random onlooker's butt. He tried to teach me, but I was a little confesed about how to block my legs from being attacked. Anyway, I found the true nature of enjoying ren faire: its talking to the strange, yet friendly people. Also, we watched the 15 minute versions of Hamlet and Romeo & Juliet about 4 times and one of the actors (the one I found to be cute) exclaimed that we were groupies.
Anyway, later we went out to eat (I was just there to accompany because my stomach was angry with my for compressing it between my spine and the bodice). The waitor was really cute and we invited him to ren faire next week. My friend got his number two which made her really happy about the whole situation with her pseudo boyfriend. But then he insinuated that I was on drugs (I guess we were acting weird because we were so tired and something about my pupils being large, but if he really cared to notice, my eyes are just big). I was a bit insulted because drugs can mess you up and I don't use them. I didn't like him as much after that, but our invitation to ren faire stood.
Anyway, it was just a fun day. I got to hang out with two of my girl friends and be crazy and hit on boys (something I usually don't do). So all in all, ren faire was a very good experience. bravo to anyone who actually paid attention to that rant all the way to the end.
