Mine is Yuki Kaori. I love her art and her stories. ^^

My favs are: CLAMP (Tsubasa, Angelic Layer, Magic Knight Rayearth, etc....)
Takaya Natsuki (Fruits Basket)
Kishimoto Masashi (Naruto)
Takei Hiroyuki (Shaman King)
Minekura Kazuya (Saiyuki)

I'd thought I'd come back and explain my choices.
CLAMP: I like them because they have fun with their story telling anf they aren't ashamed to reuse character designs (Hikaru in Angelic Layer is an example). I also admire their longevity.
Takaya Natsuki- Her character designs rock. I like her characters and her storytelling ability. Its cute, but not overly so. It keeps you entertained as well as keeping the plot moving. Plus, her freetalks are so funny! biggrin
Kishimoto Masashi- Creator of Naruto. What can I say? I love the story as well as the multitudes of varying personalities in the characters. I like his sense of timing as wells as his action scences. So awesome.
Takei Hiroyuki- I like his style, its a little different than what I usually read, slightly droopy and almost weird. Its an interesting blend when you mix it with the story.
Minekura Kazuya- Her style is awesome. Her writing is superb, these characters are multifaceted and seem like they could really exist. I love the way she draws eyes.

Erm, let's see. CLAMP, Rumiko Takahashi, Yuu Watase, Wataru Yoshizumi, Ai Yazawa. Really, I haven't read too many multiple series by one author.

Yoshihiro Togashi.... Yu Yu Halusho. I think the drawings all look like they took a loooong time.... And such nice pretty screen tones and effects....

I have two more manga-ka.
Kubo Tite (Bleach) I am liking Bleach. The story is pretty cool and the art is pretty good. Plus, the main character is named Ichigo (strawberry) and he's a pissy jerk but a good brother.
Azuma Kiyohiko (Azumanga Daioh)- The story is.......well there is really no story, the characters drive the whole manga and what characters they are! xd

I love Kaori Yukie too *_* Count Cain was simply amazing. I like CLAMP only for Tokyo Babylon, none of their other works ever really hit off with me.
I don't know the mangakas but Bleach and Full Metal Alchemist, as well as Hunter X Hunter are great fun!
The mangaka of Alichino for art, hands down biggrin
