The poor creatures Shouko considers pets...
A gift from Lenta when Shouko was still a toddler. We call her Yu, and she (well, actually it's non-gender; but we call it 'her' 'cause of the pretty pink colours ^-^) loves to eat our papers. (The little critter!)
This was a gift from Auntie Ul. <3 Shouko wasn't quite sure what to do with her, but soon warmed up to her cuddly- and pinkness.

The young Shouko's assortment of toys..
Sho's flute, crafted by Sayuri. I still play on this thing very often, though Mom doesn't know. I won't let her hear my flute playing, not anymore. Anyway, it's a lovely flute, and I love it. But don't tell Mom that..[/
Made of glass, and beautiful to boot, this is Sho's favorite thing to look at in her room. Though Anon has forbidden her to touch it, because of it's fragility. Tis a gift from DiYanni, the lovely woman. Mom says it was a gift from Madeline's (I remember her, she was the one who didn't want to hug me - I'll make her warm up to me, eventually) mom, which I found weird. Why would she give me gifts? Oh well, it's really pretty and I adore it. Mom put it on the top shelf and tells me that I mustn't touch it until I get older. When is older, by the way?
The doll Yume, a gift from Kat's friend Shiaree. This is Yume, one of my favorite dolls. On my next birthday, I'm gonna wish for a male doll so she can have a boyfriend!
Kat bought this for Shouko, back when she was a toddler. It's so pretty and fragile that I'm almost afraid to touch it. o-o Mom says it's quite robust though, but I always imagine her as the fragile and weepy princess. So that's her role in my plays.
A gift from Feather and Alexander. <33 Okay, this thing is downright scary! I mean, Mom tried putting it in my crib when I was a toddler, but I kept screaming (take that, mom!), so she had to take it somewhere else. I think it's in the attic, currently..
A Japanese doll; this particular one was a gift from Lena and Tyy to Kat on her birthday. All in all she got five, but Shouko fell in love with this one, so Kat let her have it. [Birthday card can be found here. <33] She hasn't got a name yet, but won't you agree she's made for being the evil princess?
A plushie from Lena and her kids, Sho loves to use this as her pillow. Big and soft.. ~happy sigh~ This is Mister Bob, who figures as my pillow. He looks a bit weird with all the ribbons, but I fancy he's a bit queer. Doesn't matter, he's still an excellent pillow.
A scroll from Anon's friend Loki, spelling out Shouko's name in Japanese. Currently, it's hanging over Sho's bed, and she likes to look at it, for some reason. Mom says this is my name in Japanese, but I think it's really just some random scribbles on a scroll. It's nice, though. I've tried copying the 'words', but it won't seem to work. Drat.
This is a plushie of a horse from Shouko's friend, Raven. She likes to cuddle up with it. :3 Soft! Not as soft as Mister Bob, but definitely more mobile.

After much consideration..
She had been at Lena's place, to look at the new Planted. She'd thought it was adorable, but couldn't bear to be away from her own Leaf much longer. Though why, she did not know. As she walked down the old path leading up to the house's entrance, she suddenly had a feeling of great sorrow. As if somebody was crying?
Now, Kat had never been a very spiritually aware person. She'd seen her share of magic wonders, as had everybody living in Gaia, but never had she felt it, not like this. It was like somebody was crying inside her soul..
It was the Leaf. Lena had warned her that they had some empathic abilities at this stage, but she hadn't thought it was that bad. It was.
Shouko had thought that she'd left her, and was beginning to panic after half an hour. Exactly two hours later, she'd worked herself into a panic frenzic, mentally screaming and crying. This was what greeted Kat.
"Shh, little Leaf. It ain't that bad, no? Nothing's gonna happen to you. I'm here, alright? I won't leave you, I promise.."

A young woman accompanied by two young girls appear in front of Anon's stairs and look around curiously. "We put it here. It looks just like our one." Nalini said and Jessila nodded. "That's good soil, our plant likes it."
Lena smiled and placed the bag filled with fertile earth in front of the door, while her daughters added an orange flowerpot and a letter.A letter from Lena Dear Anon, You seemed to like the planting idea so much last time we met that my children and I decided to give you a present. This is very good earth and a flowerpot for your leaf. I hope you enjoy planting the small one just as much as my children do.
See you soon for a cup of tea,
~Lena [ Please roleplay the planting for making your leaf grow ]

It was a gift..
Kat stretched, trying to make the knots in her back go away. "It's not fair, I swear. I'm only 15, I shouldn't have a back the equal of an old woman.." After having a good stretch ("Damn you, body!", "Ouch!"), Kat decided to check up on the Leaf. She hadn't known exactly what to do with it, and as a result had put it on the dining room table. No harm would come to it, of that she was sure. Walking into the kitchen, aiming for the door leading to the dining room, she noticed something. Backtracking a little, so she was standing in front of the kitchen window with a good view of the front door, she noticed a small bag, and a.. flowerpot? "What in the world is going on? Honestly, if it's the neighbor's kids playing another trick on me.." She trailed off, just having opened the door. "This looks like Lena's handwriting. Hmm." Taking the bag and the pot inside, she began to read the attached note. Smiling, she mumbled, "I owe you one, Lena."
"Here you are, little one. A nice and fresh pot, just for you! Isn't it lovely?" There was a decidedly happy feeling emitting from the Leaf as an answer. "Heh, you excited too? Wonder what you'll grow up to be." For a moment she stopped putting the earth into the pot, thinking about her little leaf. "Yes, indeed. Wonder what you'll grow up.. Ah, nevermind. Just don't get too big, mmkay? I don't want to have to put you outside 'cause of your size." She made a face, thinking about her precious leaf standing outside in all kinds of weather. The leaf glowered, as if feeling insulted. "Alright, alright. I won't talk about it anymore. Will your highness permit me to move ye?" She asked half-jokingly, but had the feeling that the leaf would have said 'Yes, you may.'. After putting the leaf into the pot, she half-covered it with the soil. "There, all happy now?" And it was. Very.

And all was well with the world..
Kat looked at the Planted Leaf, and sighed happily. It was clear that the Leaf was much happier now. And besides, it looked great. Fresh and satisfied. It seemed to emit emotions more often now. "Well, Leafy," she paused, thinking over the new nickname, "Ehh.. Or not. No calling you Leafy. It just sounds.. wrong somehow." "Where was I? Oh, right. Well, little one, we have a lot to do today. I've ordered a few wares at Kilani's, but I'm not sure when we'll be getting them. Such a shame, I'd wanted to give a plushie to Becca." She sighed again, this time less happily. "I really do hope she's [Kilani] well. I haven't heard from her in quite some time." The Leaf seemed to glower with worry, though not for the unknown woman, but rather for it's guardian in distress. Kat absently patted the Leaf, unconsciously making sure not to hurt it. "She's a grown woman. I'm sure she'll be fine.." She trailed off, still not entirely present. The Leaf had had enough. Honestly, wasn't she supposed to be paying attention to it? She could worry about some dumb two-legger another time. "Eeep! Right, eh.. Were where we? Right, I was going to water you. Fresh or bottle?"

[I said happy entirely too many times.. gonk ]

On and on and on...
She had never been good with plants. Every single plant she'd ever had, died or became sick. She'd never really cared about them, but this one was different. She'd gotten the Leaf from her good friend, Lena. It was special, she knew that immediately. Lena had started something called 'Eden Project' which consisted of finding good homes for the Leaves from the Tree. There were lots of other Leaves, but this one in particular had attracted her. And now, it was planted. Still not dead, and as healthy as ever.
"Honestly, what are you doing?" Weird as it seemed, the leaf had been wiggling it's tip for the last 27 minutes. The Leaf stopped for a moment, as if to think things over. Then it gave the emotion equilant of a shrug, and started wiggling again. "Whatever."
