I figured before the phanfics get out of hand running rampant in random threads I could make a shoddy attempt at some order and guidelines for posting them.
Don't worry, they're not hard to follow and aren't manditory but it makes things much nicer in the end. I should think it's alright to post individual phanfics in their own topics, it makes feedback so much easier. If you have a fic already up and it doesn't follow this don't sweat it, you can change it or leave it as it is, it's not important.
Links are the preferred method of sharing your fics. If you need somewhere to post your phanfiction so that you have a nice little link instead of a long and difficult to read post I suggest www.fanfiction.net or www.deviantart.com which are both free and fairly easy to use.
For the title of your topic put "Phanfic: Your Title Goes Here"
In the topic you can use a format like this (you can mess with it, this is just a suggestion):

Title: Inside My Mind
Author: Myself
Rating: PG-13 for violence and some scary sequences
Pairing: ChristineXRaoul
Based On: The original Leroux novel

Author's Notes: I wrote this as a reaction to the total unrealistic way that people write a relationship between Erik and Christine where they're all happy and gay and then Raoul is turned into the sadistic b*****d. It just wouldn't happen. It's a short fic just to get across how I felt things would really have happened. I feel that the style is somewhat similar to the English versions of the Leroux novel, although definitely not the same.
