Personality: Mentally Sarge is very child like a naive. He almost always seems to be nervous, afraid or on his guard. The only exception would be when he is with someone he knows or trusts. Then he is able to relax, though he can easily be put on his toes again. He was never taught even the basic rules of life. What he learned about social interaction is from a few experiences. He is more or less uneducated an illiterate, though attempts at education are being made. This includes bathing and toilet training, which he has mastered and general subjects of educational value.
He seems to not realize his own short comings. You could say he is, or was, a very watered down feral hybrid though now he is quite tame and fits in fairly well. Since he did not develop much at all during his child hood and adult years he has been described as slow or having a border line retardation, although this is still subject to debate as he seems to learn fairly quickly and is successful at applying things he learns in his every day life.
He has a lot of trouble with speech and will often stutter, mispronounce words or even use the wrong words in a sentence.
Though guarded, once he is given time to adapt to a person he can be very friendly, caring and pleasant. He also seems to enjoy company greatly when it is someone he trusts or begins to trust. When his trust is gained, he will trust you with his life. When angered he almost never retaliates.
Childhood: His father was a once a Sargent in the United States military, though after being injured he was dishonorably discharged. He was also a full blooded werewolf. He moved to a community set aside for werewolves. Though he considered leaving, as the community was rather prejudiced against hybrid lycanthropes, where as he wasn't. Before he could leave, he met Sarges mother, a hybrid werewolf who lived in the community hiding her hybrid features the best she could, because she had nowhere else to go. The two were soon married and made plans to leave the community.
However, before they could leave, Sarges mother became pregnant with him. She then took a maternity leave from her current job at a dry cleaning business and the couple postponed their move until he was born.
